The 2007 season will mark Nicol's sixth as the head coach of the Revolution. In his previous five seasons with New England, Nicol has led the team to the MLS Eastern Conference championship game, winning three of those games (2002, 2005, 2006). Nicol's Revolution team is just one of two teams in MLS history to reach back-to-back MLS Cups.
