Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, women's tennis great Mary Joe Fernandez will stop by to talk about the state of women's tennis as well as May being National Tennis Month.

The United States Tennis Association is in its 10th year of sponsoring National Tennis Month. The month-long celebration provides opportunities to involve and expose players to the benefits of tennis.

Fernandez is a two-time Olympic gold medalist in doubles (1992, 1996). She retired in 2000, after a 15-year career in which she won over $5 million. She owns seven career singles titles and 15 doubles titles. Among her wins are two majors in doubles, while she advanced to the finals of three majors in singles competition. In her career, she won over 400 matches in singles and over 300 in doubles.
