Johnson is off to a blistering start this year, having scored six goals and tallied three assists in just eight games.
The Kansas City forward, who struggled with injuries the last few seasons, seems poised for a big year, not only in MLS, but on the international stage as the U.S. National Team prepares for the Copa America tournament this summer in Venezuela. Johnson has made 22 appearances for the national team, scoring nine goals.
