Welcome to The Show! On Friday, Arizona State second baseman Eric Sogard will stop by to chat about the upcoming college baseball Super Regionals and his thoughts after being drafted by the San Diego Padres in the second round (81st overall) Thursday.

Arizona State (46-13) hosts the Tempe Super Regional against Mississippi (40-23), which starts Saturday (9 p.m. ET, ESPNU). Arizona State earned a spot in the Super Regionals by going undefeated (3-0) at the Tempe Regional. The one-seed, Arizona State defeated Monmouth, UC Riverside and Nebraska to advance. It's the third ever trip for Arizona State into the Super Regionals.

Sogard, a 5-10, 180-pound junior, won the 2007 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year award. He is the first Sun Devil to ever win the award. Sogard earned All Pac-10 honors for the second straight year. On the year, Sogard is hitting .390 (third on the team) with 10 HRs (third), 56 RBIs (fourth) and 17 SBs (second). He hit .400 in the Regional tournament.
