Condit (20-4) faces Minnesota's Brock Larson (21-1) during a live WEC event August 5 at Las Vegas? Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The fight can be seen live on Versus, starting at 9 p.m. ET.
Condit is back to defend his title after defeating John Alessio back in March to take the welterweight crown. Just 23, Condit's first defense comes against a fighter six years his elder. Condit last lost a fight in June 2006 but has won his last five fights over the last year.
Larson last lost in 2005, when he lost a unanimous decision to Jon Fitch. However, he has won his last nine fights, including six by submission. For his career, he has won 15 fights via the submission.
