Soehn and D.C. United host the Los Angeles Galaxy Thursday night (ESPN2, 7 p.m. ET). D.C. United finds itself in third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 8-3-6, while Los Angeles is in fifth place in the Western Conference with a 3-5-5 record.
This is Soehn's first season as a head coach; but he is very familiar with his squad, having spent the last three years as an assistant coach with United. Prior to breaking in to coaching, Sohen played five years in the MLS as a defender.
