Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, Rudy Ruettiger, whose inspirational story is portrayed in the movie Rudy, will stop by to chat.

Ruettiger dreamed about playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. After he spent two years at Holy Cross Junior College and receiving two rejection letters from Notre Dame, he finally reached his dream when he got into Notre Dame. Ruettiger spent much of his time at Notre Dame on the practice squad before dressing for the final game in his senior season. Ruettiger played two downs on defense at the end of the game, recording a sack on the final play.

Currently, Ruettiger is working with Wendy's on their "My Wendy's High School Heisman Moment." It's an online video contest that will give student athletes a chance to showcase their best sports moments. No matter what the sport is and no matter if it's a varsity game or with friends on the weekend, all high school students are eligible and all sports apply.
