Ruiz is in his sixth season in the MLS, his third with FC Dallas. An accomplished goal scorer, Ruiz was selected to his first MLS Best XI squad in 2002 as a member of the LA Galaxy. So far this year, the four-time MLS All-Star has scored six goals and dished out two assists in 18 appearances. This Thursday, Ruiz and FC Dallas welcome the Chicago Fire (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2), as the two teams battle for playoff spots.
