Buzzmaster (9:58 AM)
Good morning everyone, we've got Frank Caliendo here to answer your questions!
Frank Caliendo (9:59 AM)
Hey everybody, hit me!
Norm (Honolulu, HI)
Hey Frank, your TBS promo has been running in theatres before the show (first of all, what's up with commercials in theatres now? we run away from out tvs because of them...now they follow us around like toilet tissue under our shoes) but i must admit everyone laughs when they see you do your DiNiro. But how can you do Robert D. without doing his sidekick Joe Pecci?
Frank Caliendo (9:59 AM)
My Pesci stinks. You don't want to see it.
Liz (Big Apple)
Frank, who is your favorite person to impersonate? I think you do John madden the BEST and GWB is pretty great
Frank Caliendo (10:00 AM)
Barkley is fun now as well, because it's so new. Bill Walton is fun.
BJ (Carmel, NY)
Whats the inspiration behind your John Madden impersonation?
Frank Caliendo (10:01 AM)
It would have be John Madden. Actually, a guy named Phil Tag said I should do it, and I responded, "where will that get me?" I was an idiot.
Justin (Boston)
Hey Frank, want to see my impression of me not watching your show?
Frank Caliendo (10:02 AM)
Sure! Go ahead.
Godish (Chicago)
Frank, I've already seen Seinfeld 2027 on YouTube. Funny stuff. Did you know that it's out there already?
Frank Caliendo (10:02 AM)
That's the old version out on YouTube. There's a new HD version with some other stuff in it.
Say What? (Where?)
does anyone impersonate you?
Frank Caliendo (10:03 AM)
No, but it would probably be pretty easy. Just spazz out a lot and explain your jokes with a John Madden voice.
Timo (Oakland)
Which impression do you get asked to do the most?
Frank Caliendo (10:03 AM)
Madden and Bush, both of those.
EDog (Rainy NJ)
Frank, are you working on any new impersonations? If so, who?
Frank Caliendo (10:04 AM)
Always working on them. Not sure if I'm getting anywhere, though. I still don't have a great Chris Berman, which I'd love to be able to do. Greenie really wants me to do an impression of him.
Kevin (Manassas)
You may be good at impersonations, but you stink at picking NFL games.
Frank Caliendo (10:05 AM)
I think you're half-right. Actually, thanks and you're right. My picks do stink.
Mikey (Philly)
Can you think of a worse forum for a person with your talents than a web chat? I'm willing to read with an impression in my head if you note it in the response.
Frank Caliendo (10:06 AM)
That's a brilliant observation.
Justin (Glendale, AZ)
Hey Frank - lookin fwd to seeing you at Tempe Improv in a few weeks...what do you like more now, stand up or TV?
Frank Caliendo (10:07 AM)
I like both, it's great to have the opportunity to do both. Stand-up is great because of the instant feedback, but TV is great because of the team effort and the constant newness.
Jake (Canton)
Which celebs have approached you after they found out about the impersonations. Were they upset?
Frank Caliendo (10:08 AM)
Leno likes his--he's done sketches with me. Letterman let me impersonate him on his show. Madden is the guy who really doesn't love my stuff.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Are there any impersonations that you used to do, but have fallen out of the routine?
Frank Caliendo (10:09 AM)
Sure, guys like Jonathan Winters, sitcom stars and characters from the 80's, although I will still do some classic characters just because lots of people still love them.
Brian (Enfield, CT)
What's your best memory from Mad TV?
Frank Caliendo (10:11 AM)
Some of the days with Will Sasso. We used to have a lot of fun.
Godish (Chicago)
Frank, what was it like to sponsor the MLB Playoff Divisional Series?
Frank Caliendo (10:12 AM)
Ouch. Crazy, although I didn't know they were going to do that. But you can't tell the network that supports you that much to stop supporting you. I don't mind being ripped.
Joe (Huntsville,AL)
What's the difference between impersonations and impressions?
Frank Caliendo (10:13 AM)
An impersonationist is a person who tries to pose as the person, and do a full act based on that person. Impressions are more "takes" on the person.
Frank Caliendo (10:14 AM)
Thanks guys, gotta go sell out some more.
Buzzmaster (10:14 AM)
Thanks, Frank. Now, back to the Buzz.
Carl (Lansing, MI)
Uhh, i thought we were going back to the buzz...
Jeff (Iowa)
Where is the Buzz?
Buzzmaster (10:17 AM)
I'm right here.
BJ (Carmel, NY)
Bagel break?
Brady (Colorado)
WE WANT FRANK WE WANT FRANK! LOL
Carl (NJ)
He's just giving us a minute to collect our thoughts.
Mark(HOF City )
Glad to see even the guests won't take my questions. At least I am consistant.
Buzzmaster (10:18 AM)
A little whine from HOF City.
Britt (Altoona Pa)
Buzz DONT YOU EVER LEAVE US LIKE THAT AGAIN
Tony (Boise, ID)
Does anyone else get furious when people use 'lol'. I absolutely hate it.
Jake (Canton)
Ahh, F5, we meet again!
Liz ( Big Apple)
Going back to the buzz, the buzz, the buzz going back to the buzz oh man i don't think so...
JK (INDY)
Has anyone noticed that everytime Torre says that a Yankee FA might look good in Dodger blue, that that FA autmatically resigns with the Bronx
Jeff (Iowa)
Bill Nye the Science Guy is seeking protection from his wife. Can't he just invent something?
BJ Carmel, NY
Furious is not the right word Tony, Im going more with "violent"...yes, I get violent.
Steve (MA via E. Hartford)
Hehe
Neal (Philly)
Unless you're a 10 year old girl, you don't use lol
Jack (NB Canada)
Can you do an impression of Buzz eating a Pop-Tart?
Godish (Chicago)
Sounds like Justin (Boston) has decided not to watch FrankTV.
Pat Summerall
I can't wait to see John's new tv show, I saw the commercial the other day. I don't know why it's called FrankTV though, shouldn't it be JohnTV?
liz ( Big Apple)
Buzz, i think alot of the MB men have a man crush on you- how does that make you feel?
Buzzmaster (10:20 AM)
Confident?
EDog (Rainy NJ)
Liz with the LL Cool J
matt (omaha)
LOL is completely overused. I seriously doubt people are "laughing out loud" everytime they type it. LIARS!!!!!
Mike(Charlotte)
Buzz, I think the suits are throwing you some competition to test you. Time to step up your game.
John (Cloquet, MN)
I'm looking for Ray Finkle and a clean pair of shorts.
10yr Old Girl (LOL City)
LOL
matt (omaha)
Buzz, I think when all of this is over, we should get an apartment together.
Jeff (Iowa)
The Men of the MB - sounds like a calendar idea.
Jack (Toronto)
Wait, lowercase "L" in liz? I sense an imposter.
Chris Hansen (Soon to be Philly)
I got a report that someone in here typed "10 year old girl"...we are now watching you. If you buy any Zimas you are screwed.
Robert (Huntsville, Al)
So, I miss the MB yesterday and its the first time in awhile that it wasn't a arguement over baseball, it was complete random jargon... I really do have bad luck...
Nick (Colonia, NJ)
Remember this: spiderpig
Carl (Lansing, MI)
If there is a MB calender, Ray will have to be in month "comment: Sept$%Thenasd"
Joe (Huntsville,AL)
Men of MB the calendar? Fat guys posing with Pop Tarts? It could work.
Robert (Huntsville, Al)
manbearpig destorys a spiderpig...
Tim (Detroit)
Quick someone talk about the two Detroit reporters who voted for Ordonez.
Sean (Philly)
I hope Bilicheck doesn't take the 22 points he is giving to the Eagles as an insult and run up the score this weekend.
Matt (New York, NY)
Buzz, where would you say you would be in life without the office?
Buzzmaster (10:25 AM)
Passed out in a ditch somewhere.
RoboCop (Detroit)
I got laid off today :(
Chad (Savannah, GA)
No McNabb ='s 55-7 win for the Pat's.
Bill Belicheck
No more extra point attempts, I'm going for 2 every time.
T100 (Detriot)
I received new mission parameters today. Find enemies of Jon Kitna and terminate them.
John (Cloquet, MN)
Somebody has to call out RoboCop for using the little sad face.
Menacing Gang (Detroit street corner)
laughing at RoboCop
Geoff (Boston)
Whenever it snows in Boston I am always reminded of the Tuck Rule....
Godish (Chicago)
T-1000 > T100
Matt (Grand Rapids)
Frank should do an impression of Ray.
Buzzmaster (10:28 AM)
Ray is an intarweb legend, not a real-life legend.
Matt (Watertown, NY)
Boy.. T100 must have been equipped with a not so stellar spellcheck... T100, you may need to upgrade...
Steve (NJ)
Um, it's the Cyberdine Systems T-101. There is no T-100. noob.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Of course RoboCop can be sad. He's part human, remember?
Buzzmaster (10:28 AM)
What is this emotion you humans call...love?
Jack Bauer (Crying on a cliff until January)
Robocop, you are responsible for the deaths of David Palmer and Michelle Dessler. And Tony, but he really isn't dead. And you used a sad face. *shoots Robocop*
Carl (NJ)
You build them up, Buzz knocks them down!
Lucas(Beer City)
Whenever it snows in The Beer City I'm always reminded of how depressingly long winter lasts in the Midwest...
Jeff (Iowa)
Intarweb?
Buzzmaster (10:30 AM)
You think I'm going with standard spelling in regards to Ray?
Predator (Jungle)
Robocop, schomocop.
Brian (Madison, WI)
I bet on Princeton last night who were 23.5 point dogs to Duke, I have to say it was the most exciting blowout I have ever watched, it was strange cheering for a bunch of guys that look the guys that come and fix my computer.
John (Cloquet, MN)
How long would RoboCop last in a fight with the Terminator? 20 seconds? 30 seconds?
Godish (Chicago)
IMDB tagline for RoboCop: Part man. Part machine. All cop. The future of law enforcement.
Brian (Enfield, CT)
Whenever it snows in Connecticut it reminds me to move out of Connecticut.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
All of you can laugh now, but when the machines become self-aware, just put your head between your knees and...well, you know the rest...*removes tinfoil hat*
Buzzmaster (10:31 AM)
Sony made a robot that can run and climb stairs. It looks cute, until you imagine it with a robot knife, kicking down your door with its evil robot legs.
Ahnold
RUNNNNNNN!!! Get to the Choppuh!!!!
Jeff (Iowa)
How foolish of me, Buzz.
smith (indianapolis)
the return of kenny mayne to sportscenter makes me wonder how we survived so long without him
Liz ( Big Apple)
I hate the cold weather almost as much as i hate the People that live in Massachusetts
J.J. (CT)
Does anyone else think it would be the single funniest event if Kiefer Sutherland, while serving time in jail for his DUIs, actually escaped from prison? I mean shouldn't FOX or Sutherland's PR agent leak a false story like that?
Neal (Philly)
And Buzz gets dropped from the front page again...
Greg(Boston)
two straight days of Robocop, yippee
Justin (Boston)
Know how Stallone keeps reprising his old characters and just naming the movie after the character (Rocky Balboa, John Rambo)...when does John Spartan come out?
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Fabio gave us a nice boost yesterday. Bring back Fabio!
Godish (Chicago)
Get this, the guy that played RoboCop was in 24. He played Christopher Henderson.
Patrick (DC)
They should send Kiefer to Prison Break for a crossover special.
Liz( Big Apple)
Buzz- how are you in 2 different places at once? is there more than 1 Buzzmaster and you are just toying with our emotions??
Buzzmaster (10:33 AM)
I am legion.
Brian (Enfield, CT)
I'm going to buy a flannel shirt and cut off the sleeves so I seem more outdoorsy.
Justin (Boston)
I still get a kick out of seeing Michael Chiklis (The Shield) on that episode of Seinfeld where he's the loser husband from Long Island.
Lucas(Beer City)
Bobocop?
Carl (NJ)
The prison should hire Bauer so these idiots can give up on escaping jail already.
BJ Carmel, NY
Legion of Doom? They were a sick tagteam.
BJ Carmel, NY
Michael Chicklis played several loser characters before hitting it big playing a bad ass cop...wait, that goes for like half of Hollywood actors.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Brian, cutting the sleeves off your flannel shirt doesn't make you look more outdoorsy. It makes you look stupid.
R.Keane (Old Southington,CT)
Brian going for the Eddie Vedder look or Brawny Guy....or Al Bundy....or....my dad.
Jeff (Iowa)
The Seinfeld Bubble Boy episode was on last night. Classic.
Matt (New York, NY)
I still wear my Brett Hart sunglasses around the city. Dont lie everyone had those glasses!
Buzzmaster (10:35 AM)
I didn't, because I'm not a stupefyingly gigantic loser.
Jerry Seinfeld
Nothing's finer than being in your diner.
Brian (Newmarket, NH)
Legion of Doom: Lindros, LeClair, and Reneberg? My hockey memory if fading.
Jeff (Iowa)
I think Clinton nailed it, R. Keane.
Chris (Atlanta, GA)
Was at the museum on Sunday and the guy behind me was wearing a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off...
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
The Kinkos got totally out of hand, so all duplication services in Detroit are now handled by RoboCopy.
BJ Carmel, NY
The Brett Hart glasses were the original "Stunner Shades" complete with the heart/break on the side...
Kevin (Manassas)
Speaking of the Legion of Doom, James Laurinatis is the son of Animal from the Legion of Doom.
Mark(HOF City )
If you are going to talk about bad-ass cops, you better start with the granddaddy of them all: Dirty Harry Callahan.
Carl (NJ)
Demolition was one of my favorites.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
That's right. Buzz is more of an enormously gigantic nerd.
Matt (Grand Rapids)
Hobocop.... armed with a busted whiskey bottle and severe schizophrenia hobocop is cleaning up the streets of Detroit.
Rick (PLainville CT)
Buzz had the snuckify headband with the JYD clains
Buzzmaster (10:37 AM)
I had L.A. Lights. Those things ruled.
Neal (Philly)
I miss the Reebox Pumps.
Jeff (Iowa)
I loathe using the F5 key.
Justin (Boston)
Lobocop...keeping the WNBA safe from scum and villainy.
Buzz's Boss
Are you wearing a Slap bracelet today?
Carl (Lansing, MI)
This is my friday. And I move into my new house over the long weekend. Needless to say, not too much is getting done.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
My favorite underrated Dirty Harry line: When the killer goes after a priest and Clint says: "I guess he figures he owes himself a padre." Brilliant.
Carl (NJ)
Remember LA Gear and those Catapults? Jeez they were stretchin for ideas...I think that's the last shoe they came out with.
Tim (Detroit)
What about the Reebok Blacktop shoes. They upped my street cred significantly.
Cosmo Kramer
Oh no, my Cubans!
Mark(HOF City )
Comocop - protecting the world from the theme from Here Comes The Brides!
Sean (Philly)
Romocop, co-staring Brian Dawkins. (May be funnier if it was Brian dawkins of 4 years ago, and the Eagles were playing better.)
R.Keane (Old Southington,CT)
Anyone see that Southington is number two in the state of Connecticut for football? They will destroy Cheshire on Turkey Day.
Buzzmaster (10:40 AM)
Just because I live in Connecticut doesn't mean I pay attention to the local sports clubs or nothin'.
Joe (Huntsville,AL)
I still carry around a 2x4 like Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Matt (New York, NY)
Ghostbusters backpack and ghost trap were a must have!
Lucas(Beer City)
Snowbocop...keeping your driveway shoveled and free of ice...
Godish (Chicago)
Ted DiBiase gave me his Million Dollar Belt.
Brian (Newmarket, NH)
I like King Kong Bundy's role in Moving with Richard Pryor
Tim (Detroit)
Roy Keane the former Manchester United player and current Sunderland manager is in CT?
Hawk, Legion of Doom
OOOOOHHHHHHHH WHAT A RRRRUUSSSHHHHH!!
Johnson VA
Hideo nomocop...blowing leads evrywhere and coming to a city near you
Buzzmaster (10:42 AM)
Don't you dare hate on Nomo. The man was an above-average major leaguer the majority of his career and was dominant for a stretch. Two meaningless years at the end hurt his ERA, but he was a treat to watch.
Brian (Enfield, CT)
Repobocop - Taking your crap if you dont pay your creditors.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
RoboCob: Keeping ears of corn shucked for future generations.
Tim (Detroit)
Nomorecop- enough of the lame robocop jokes.
Lucas(Beer City)
Dodocop...extinct...
Jeff (Iowa)
OhNoBoCop - more stupid RoboCop takes.
Matt (Grand Rapids)
It's Limmmmmaaaaaaaa time!!!
Jeremy (Boston)
And had a no-hitter....won't mention for who.
BJ Carmel, NY
I always thought Hideo Nomo, should have waiver his finger at batters ala Mutombo every time he struck them out...
Tony (NYC)
Robocop and wrestling, great job buzz, look what you started. i'd rather work.
Brian (Newmarket, NH)
Who knew that Hideo Nomo was a touchy subject with Buzz. Perhaps he has a poster of him and stares at him like the kids in the MLB commercials.
Buzzmaster (10:44 AM)
I just do that with Pedro. People understand.
Rick (PLainville CT)
Nomo= screwing up kids of the 90's pitching techiques
Jill (Norman)
Darn it, left my sense of humor at home, again.
Vik (Fort Myers, FL)
Feel free to mock Hideki Irabu, though.
Liz ( Big Apple)
Bodyslam with Roddy Piper is the best movie with Wrestlers in it... Roddy piper played commander cash in the robocop series- i didn't know they had a robocop series?
Buzzmaster (10:45 AM)
Hell comes to Frogtown, with the same. Look it up.
Carl (NJ)
Pedro used to be ELITE...obviously injuries have slowed him, but a few years ago? Untouchable.
Buzzmaster (10:46 AM)
Not only untouchable, but having the best year of any starter ever. Right in the middle of the steroid era, too.
Carl (Lansing, MI)
can we mock Chan Ho Park? I enjoyed his flying kick...
J.J. (CT)
My mom and I met Sgt. Slaughter when I was 8 years old. My mom told him she loved him in G.I. Joe. Does that make my mom cool or a dork? I'm thinking cool because Sgt. started laughing.
Patrick (DC)
Nomo was the Japanese Fernando Valenzuela, only without all the ladies.
Brian (Newmarket, NH)
Ventura in The Predator would be the best wrestler in a movie. At lease that I can think of right now.
Godish (Chicago)
I watched Hot Shots! last night. There's a brief cameo by Barkley and Laimbeer during the bar brawl scene.
tom* (parkville, md)
Princess Bride has a wrestler in it.
Justin (Boston)
Romocop = Could care less if you snap the ball 30 feet over his head, he'll still get the first down.
Matt (Grand Rapids)
Hulk Hogan had the weakest finishing move ever. I'm really afraid of a leg drop.
Jeremy (NYC)
As much as it pains me to say this...Pedro might have had the most dominant run over a 3-4 year stretch of anyone in baseball history (when you take into account the offensive explosion of the time)
Jeremy (Boston)
Andre the Giant in Princess Bride.
Carl (NJ)
Wasnt his ERA like 1.90 one year or something? Oh wait, it was 1.75 or something. Thats ridiculous.
Buzzmaster (10:49 AM)
1.74. The league ERA that year was 4.74. That's absolutely insane.
Rick (Plainville CT)
How can you forget Zeus in NO Hold Barred? Dude was scary, and he didnt even have to act, just stand there eyes wide open
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Buzz stares at a poster of Pedro Borbon?
Buzzmaster (10:49 AM)
Astacio.
Carl (NJ)
I always thought Hogan's finishing move was him pumping his fist when he was about to get submitted. Then all of a sudden not feeling any pain.
Jeff (Iowa)
Ever hear of a guy named Koufax, Jeremy?
Buzzmaster (10:50 AM)
It's even better than Koufax's. His lowest ERA was 1.73, but the league ERA was 3.28, plus he was pitching in a park that killed hitters. Still impressive, but it's not quite vintage Pedro.
Announcer (Ted's Head)
Now batting for Pedro Borbon, Manny Mota, Mota, Mota!
Clinton (Indianapolis)
LUNCH CHAT! It's a country fried steak microwave meal today.
Rick (Plainville CT)
Maddux was pretty dominate for the same stretch as Pedro, and 1 of the few guys I can confidently surmise did not do steriods
Buzzmaster (10:51 AM)
It's almost a tossup between those two. But I feel Pedro was a bit better.
Carl (Lansing, MI)
Hulk Hogan pulled off the feather boa and now gets away with a fanny pack...that man is untouchable.
Neal (Philly)
Lunch chat! Today it's Red Lobster. I won't be here tomorrow, so Happy Thanksgiving SN!
tom* (parkville, md)
If Pedro's ERA was doubled that year, he still would have been the league leader.
Jeff (Iowa)
You do have a man-crush on Pedro Martinez, don't you, Buzz?
Buzzmaster (10:52 AM)
I'm not afraid to admit it.
BJ Carmel, NY
Ranch Wings...
Jack (NB Canada)
I ate my lunch already, time for my chocolates fudge pop-tart!
Matt (Grand Rapids)
Steve Koufax? He lived down the street form me growing up. What does that have to do with baseball?
BJ Carmel, NY
I think Buzz is rather impartial, giving credit where credit is due...write that one down Buzz, might be your new intro.
Wayne (TX)
I remember the first time I laid eyes on the monster that was Yokozuna. He was a massive giant of a man. It seemed that he wouldn't be able to wrestle because of his obvious obesity problem, but it was actually his 500 lb. frame that made him so deadly. When Yokozuna began to make his push for fame, he did so by attacking something that is dear to every wrestling fan, America. For weeks he and his manager, Mr. Fugi bashed the United States. It seemed like no one had the courage to confront this monster, until a challenge was issued by the most American of wreslters...Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Carl (Lansing, MI)
Lunch=Chinese food.
Tim (Detroit)
Clinton just insulted steak.
Dave(vt)
Does anyone ever feel like they want to go to Clinton's house and cook him a good meal so he can have some decent leftovers for lunch the next day?
Buzzmaster (10:53 AM)
I feel confident in saying, uh, no.
Matt (New York, NY)
Buzz, can we have a moment of silence for your career.
Lucas(Beer City)
Pedro was WAY more dominant than Koufax ever was...in his 16 year career, he only had 5 seasons over a 3.00 ERA!!! Now that's insane...
Jeremy (Boston)
Pedro's 17K game against the Champion Yanks and his no hit relief against the Indians (when injured) were incredible....
Steve (NJ)
Chicken club sammy and some water. Maybe some girl scout cookies for dessert.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Lunch: Goat cheese, roasted red peppers, eggplant and sausage all smothering two delectible slices of pizza.
Tim (Detroit)
PB&J for me with a granola, bar, fruit cup and water. All I need is an lol and I will officially be 10 years old.
Larry (Omaha)
I'm not sure I agree with you, Buzz. Look at the talent Koufax faced day in and day out, and look at the watered down lineups that Pedro faced. I realize some of those hitters were juiced. Also, the league ERA was so high because the pitching is spread out so thin. You had fewer teams in Koufax's era, thus the lower ERA.
Buzzmaster (10:55 AM)
That doesn't account for more than a run-and-a-half of offense. Pedro was dominant in the era of guys like McGwire and Sosa hitting a billion home runs. Also, if the pitching was spread so thin, why wasn't the hitting spread thin as well?
Jeremy (Boston)
.....Larry, Koufax also pitched off a higher mound (bigger pitcher advantage).....with that said, Koufax and Gibson were awesome.
R.Keane (Old Southington,CT)
Chicken soup for me....I'm sick, sniffle.
Lucas(Beer City)
Wayne, that speech would be beautiful if wrestling was actually real...
J.J. (CT)
Not to mention smaller ball parks and a lower mound when Pedro threw compared to Sandy.
Jeremy (Boston)
All Start Game 99. How'd the NL lineup do against Pedro? 5 of first 6 K...
Bender (Dention)
PB & J with the crusts cut off. Well Brian, this is a very nutritious lunch. All the food groups are represented. Did your mom marry Mr. Rogers?
Jeff (Iowa)
Bob Gibson had a pretty good run in the mid to late 1960s, albeit with a higher mound during 1968.
Drew (Mpls)
Larry, the talent isn't spread any more thin. The talent pool in the 1960's came from America, mostly white America. We now have a talent pool that in Latin countries that have brought us some of our best players.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
How big of an advantage was the higher mound? Let me put it this way: The batting champion in 1968, Carl Yaztremski, had an average of .301. That's not a typo.
Steve (NJ)
That's a poor argument Buzz. The science of hitting is well ahead of pitching. It's easier to become a better hitter than a better pitcher, based on scientific study of swing mechanics, approach, stance, etc. More work's been done because the fans like a homer more than a K
Buzzmaster (10:59 AM)
And there are no scientific studies of pitching mechanics, approach, stance, etc? I don't know that I buy your argument, particularly the fan rationale.
Drew (Mpls)
That may have been the most poorly worded sentence I've ever typed. I please ask for your to forgive my type for I am not bad like that. What?
Matt (New York, NY)
Buzz, I think I would vote Cam Cameron for coach of the year. My logic is similar to that of quickdraw. In that game you actually get money if you get zero #'s correct. My logic is that it is very difficult to lose every game. No team has ever done that, where at least someone has gone undefated. Thoughts?
Brian Madison, WI
The talent is spread pretty thin in this chat room.
Carl (NJ)
Stop wasting time with these long posts at the end.
Buzzmaster (11:00 AM)
And that wraps it up! Stay tuned for the rest of today's chats.
