Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, former NFL offensive lineman Marco Rivera will stop by to chat.

Rivera played 11 years in the NFL, playing nine years with the Green Bay Packers and two with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys host the Packers Thursday night in a battle of the two best teams in the NFC.

Green Bay chose Rivera in the sixth round of the 1996 NFL draft out of Penn State. In his rookie year in 1996, Rivera was a key member of the practice squad as the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI. By 1999 Rivera was a full-time starter as a guard on the offensive line.

Rivera went to Dallas as a free agent before the 2005 season. The Cowboys released him in June as Rivera was suffering from severe back problems. In his career, Rivera made three Pro Bowls - 2003, 2004, 2005.
