I agree and disagree with Colby... If a conference deserved to have 3 teams in the BCS it was the SEC. Year in, year out, that conference proves to be tougher. It shows when you look at the NFL and where which conference has churned out more pro players.

Brennan IS in fact a system QB. Look at his numbers and you will see the game he did not play, was the game in which Hawaii scored the most points. They also won another game in which he only threw two passes. They find a way to win, with or without him and against horrible competition. Timmy Chang, who is by no means a great quarterback threw 38 TDs in this system. Not only that, but Colt Brennan's team carried him on a night where he threw 5 interceptions. Both Daniels and Tebow have to be in front of him. You can not reward cupcake scheduling.

People put Tebow in front of McFadden because Tebow is a much more important part to his team. If you take McFadden away from the Hogs, they still have someone who can take his place and do just as good or better than him. If you take Tebow away, the Gators offense is nowhere near as good as they are now.

He stepped up this year. This is his first year starting and running the offense. He did it like he was a fifth year senior. He showed a lot of leadership and got it done this year.

It was a blast playing Virginia Tech. Any time you open your season against a top team like that at Tiger Stadium it's great. We'll take two weeks off and start preparing for Ohio State.
