David Tyree's first down catch is already being discussed as one of the greatest in Super Bowl history.
Tyree and the rest of the New York Giants defeated the heavily favored New England Patriots 17-14. After the game, SportsNation voters declared the victory the greatest sports upset of all-time.
On third and 15, Giants quarterback Eli Manning escaped pressure and put up a 32-yard toss that Tyree managed to pull down despite being closely guarded by Patriots defender Rodney Harrison. Tyree trapped the ball against his helmet on the way down and secured it with his free hand, keeping the Giants' game-winning drive alive.
