Moyer and his Rush squad host the first AFL Monday night game of the new season when the defending champion San Jose SaberCats come to town (ESPN2, 9 p.m. ET). The SaberCats defeated the Columbus Destroyers in ArenaBowl XXI in New Orleans last year.
Moyer moved to MAC linebacker last season after spending his previous nine years in the league as a defensive and offensive lineman. He posted a career-high 30.5 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 4 passes broken up and an interception last season. He increased his career sack total to 37.5, which is eighth in the history of the AFL.
