TMR, can you explain your previous comment about position scarcity mattering less in a shallow, 10-team league? Wouldn't getting the best catcher, for example, be more important if there are fewer teams, because everyone would have a decent catcher, so you'd have an advantage by getting the BEST one? Maybe I'm not thinking about this the right way. Enlighten me!

I see your point, but only for the positions where there is a significant differance between the elite and non elite. But the idea here is that you can get best available because you know you'll get a stud at every pos. In the question before, you can definitely make the arguemtn Price is the best 1b. I'm down on Pujols and Prince / Howard is a bit of a toss up

Yeah, Eric and I are on the same page with this one. I wouldn't take Albert until mid - late 3rd round. Look, he hit 32 / 103 last year. And there's lot of guys who hit those kind of numbers last year who also have 40+ HR potential / have done it in the past, just like Albert. Guys like Big Papi or Tex. And without the risk of Albert. STL has said they are going to proactively rest him and if they fall out of it, they may very well shut him down....too much risk considering who else you can get

I don't like him as much as Eric because of this, but he's certainly laet 6th / 7th round, not late 8/9 as the overall ESPN ranks have him
