Dietz started eight games last season.
Dietz leads his team against the Soul of Philadelphia Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN 2. The Storm had a bye week last week. In Week 3, Dietz threw for five TDs, but Tampa Bay lost its first game of the season to New Orleans.
Dietz won the AFL Rookie of the Year in 2007, despite only playing in nine games. He threw for 2,395 yards and 47 TDs. His final stats place him fifth all-time in franchise history in career pass completions, attempts, passing yards and touchdowns.
