Chat with former Idaho LB David Vobora

Vobora led Idaho in tackles last season with 148, which ranked fifth in the country. He was also third in the country with 12.3 tackles per game. It marked the second straight year that Vobora led the WAC in tackles.
Scouts Inc.'s Todd McShay names Vobora as a potential sleeper pick in the draft.
According to Vobora's Scouts Inc.'s draft profile, Vobora "didn't miss a game in his Vandals career. He's smart, tenacious and just athletic enough to develop into an effective reserve linebacker who also contributes on special teams. Stays disciplined and rarely gets caught out of position. Has special teams experience and should make immediate contributions in that facet of the game. Team captain during senior season and is a leader on the field."
Send in your questions now, then join Vobora on Monday at 2:30 p.m. ET!

Larry (Boise, ID)
What do you need to do to be successful at the NFL level?
David Vobora (2:32 PM)
I think I have to learn the system. The one thing coaches look at is can I learn this system and can I be good in this system.
Joy (Idaho Falls, ID)
What school did you enjoy playing against the most?
David Vobora (2:34 PM)
Good Question. I would say Boise State. No matter how close that came was you could always feel that excitement. It's just something about play the blue and orange.
Sam (West Chester, PA)
What NFL LB do you compare yourself to?
David Vobora (2:35 PM)
I would say Freddie Keiaho from the Colts. A guy that uses his speed well.
Tim: San Diego, CA
DV:What was your favorite NFL team/player growing up in Oregon?Go Vandals
David Vobora (2:36 PM)
Brett Favre and the Packers. I was a QB growing up and in high school. I was also a 49ers fan but I'm Packers all the way through.
Adam (Detroit, MI)
What do you bring to a team that others may not bring?
David Vobora (2:38 PM)
Production. I led the conference the last two years in tackles. I'm vocal and I led with my actions. I don't shy away from adversity on or off the field.
Chris (Durham,NC)
What do you think will be your biggest hurdle to overcome to be successful in the NFL? Go Vandals.
David Vobora (2:39 PM)
The adjustment of a new level of play. Even we did play good compition in college, it's tougher in the league. I think I will adjust well and become successful.
Mark H. (Bowling Green, OH)
Who was the toughest RB to tackle that you faced in college?
David Vobora (2:39 PM)
USC RB's. They have the top RB's in the nation every year.
Hilerie Kellogg, Idaho
Hey DV! As a Vandal alum, I'm very proud of what you have accomplished so far! What are your pre-game rituals?
David Vobora (2:41 PM)
I eat the same amount of food. I try to be relaxed and focused on what I need to do. Before the game I like to be relaxed and listen to my ipod and before every game I say a prayer.
Tony S. (KY)
What team did you hate the most since you were a Packers fan growing up?
David Vobora (2:43 PM)
I wouldn't say hate. At the time the Cowboys were very good. It always bugged me when Dallas would come out on top.
Kyle (OH)
What defensive scheme do you prefer, and which one highlights your abilities the best?
David Vobora (2:44 PM)
I'll play in anything. I will adjust to anything. I played them both but I will say as a MLB the 4-3 scheme is the best for me.
Paul (Morgantown)
Hey D, what was your most memorable moment at Idaho?
David Vobora (2:46 PM)
My junior year we played Bosie State at home. It was a packed crownd and we were down two with 5-6 minutes to go. I sacked the quarter back for a big loss. I remember that feeling and it was one on the best moments in my career.
Kyle (OH)
Can you explain some of your training leading up to draft?
David Vobora (2:48 PM)
I trained in Los Angeles, CA with 16 other draft guys. I worked out six days a week for two months. It was a grind but it was fun. Made a couple of friendships with the guys. During workouts I put on weight which is a plus for me and it's what scouts wanted to see.
Dad: Eugene, OR
How has obtaining two college degrees in four years prepared you for competing in the NFL?
David Vobora (2:49 PM)
That something that I've known from day one. My degrees and the man that I have become are just as vauluable as football. My degrees are something that I can use for the rest of my life.
David Vobora (2:51 PM)
Thank you for all your support. Thanks to all the people that helped me get where I'm at now, from my parents to all my coaches.
