The 31-year-old Forbes steps into the ring against the 35-year-old De La Hoya live from The Home Depot Center in Los Angeles and can be seen live on HBO starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
Forbes, a finalist on "The Contender," enters the ring at 33-5-0, while De La Hoya is 38-5-0. Forbes won his last fight over Francisco Bojado on a split decision in 10 rounds. Forbes lost his two fights before the Bojado fight, but had won eight in a row before that.
