In 2007, he finished the season with 102 tackles and two sacks in 14 games. It was his fourth straight season of 100 or more tackles.
Briggs started 14 of the team's 16 games in his rookie season in 2003, recording 78 tackles. In every season since, he has had 100 or more tackles, including a career-high 130 in the Bears' Super Bowl season of 2006.
He has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons.
