Cooper and his Dallas teammates travel to Houston on Thursday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN2). Dallas (4-5-4) is one point behind Houston (4-4-5) for second place in the Western Conference.
Cooper leads Dallas in goals with seven. He has 22 career goals in three seasons in the MLS. He spent 2003-2006 playing overseas, before leaving Manchester United in 2006 to play for FC Dallas.
