Rob I think you've got a pretty good team..McMurray might not be a bad "floor" this week at 17.5..He's running really well and historically this has been a good track for him...17 is in pretty good shape..I didn't give him any props in my pre-race rankings but many in the garage this morning think he can run potentially top-five today..As for the other league..holy smokes that's nothing to work with 84 might be top-20 material so that's probably the way to go..then hold your nose and say four Hail Marys...lol

We talked with his crew chief Tommy Baldwin this morning and he said it was a total crapshoot for them today..doesn't have a clue really as to what they may or may not do..When he finished ninth earlier this year he started 18th..today he takes the green from 37th..I think he's too big of a risk.

Bob, I'd go with the second one...Mainly because I think the 6 is struggling just a bit and I would rank him last when ranking the Roush drivers today...The 17 might be a little better than the 8 too..

16 is definitely one..the other three are almost a toss-up..Normally, I go with the 18 but after what happened last week we'll have to see how he rebounds from that..8 and 1 are potential top-10 too...Since 8 and 1 are running so good..maybe go with the 8..he's not running all of the remaining races and that will save a you a 1 and 18 pick for down the road.

Marcie, We talked to Steve Letarte this morning and he says their car is pretty good and is top-10 potential and maybe a little better if they can make the right adjustments..Didn't get the feeling talking to him that they were starting the race as a potential winner..Should be decent today and should be able to finish minimum top-10..and with value at 20.6 fairly attractive pick today.

Both are having issues going in..83 and 84 aren't that good according to Allmendinger's crew chief..44 is fighting a loose condition according to his crew chief..If you can afford it think about moving up to McMurray, which would cost you 1.2 more than Reutimann...if that's not possible ..think about Montoya, which would be .9 more than Reutimann...If not possible go with 44 and hope for the best.

Jen, the 84 could be a little "iffy" today...If all you want out of him is a top-20 and can accept that..then go with your second team..48,11, 16, and 17 have the potential to run as good as top-five and 48 and 16 have pretty good chances to win.

It's the same kind of deal as last week..six of one and half dozen of the other...not much difference between the two just like NH when Johnson finished second and Edwards third...might give a slight lean towards Johnson for the way he handles the playoff pressure..but I don't think you get burned either way too badly.

I'm sure it hasn't been the easiest thing to deal with this week and Kyle can be a handful when he's upset, but I don't see that as being a big story yet...They have big problems today...then we'll really have to keep a close eye on it...This is the time Kyle needs to show some calm leadership like a Jimmie Johnson.

Really struggling a little bit with this one..but I'd say go with 1 and 84...Allmendinger might give a top-20..which Tony Raines has never done at Dover..1 is top-10 material and in pretty good shape..24 might outrun him by a couple of spots though.

Dale Earnhardt Inc, Tony Gibson, Crew Chief for Mark Martin...Gibson thinks his car is pretty good and believes they can run top 10. He does not believe he has the speed that the Roush-Fenway cars havebut Martin usually does well here and likes the track. He thinks Martinis a bit better than Martin Truex but feels like Truex can finish in the top10 as well. Gibson says the cars to beat are Biffle and Edwards.

Penske Racing, Pat Tryson, Crew Chief for Kurt Busch...Tryson says they are just okay. He says both Busch and Newman arein the same boat as they are 8th to 15th place cars with Newman beinga tick better. As for the rest of the field he believes there are a groupof top cars and then everybody else. They include the 16, 99, 17, 48 and 24.

Yates Racing, Charles Cully Barraclough, Crew Chief for David Gilliland...Cully believes Gilliland has a top 15 car and perhaps a top 10. They are pretty happy with the car saying there are no hail Marys or kitchen sinkstoday. He says Travis Kvpial is fairly happy as well and has a 15th to 20thplace car.

Joe Gibbs Racing, Mike Ford, Crew Chief for Denny Hamlin...Ford says his car is good as they made several long runs during the finalpractice and it stayed consistant. The 11 has at least a top 10 car andhas top five potential. After winning the Nationwide race Kyle Busch said during the post race press conference his car is good and should have a top 10 car. Tony Stewart is okay and has top 10 potential. Ford says the 16 is the car to beat.

Red Bull Racing, Jimmie Elledge, Crew Chief for AJ Allmendinger...Elledge says there is nothing exciting to talk about today. The car does notseem to want to turn and they need more rear grip. He says the 83 and 84 areint he same boat. He says they should be able to finish int he top 20. Elledge says the top cars today are the 24, 8 and 16.

Hendrick Motorsports, Tony Eury Jr, Crew Chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr...Eury believes the 88 can be in the top 10 but is not too sure how good they can be today. They were up and down in practice. He says they have got to run with the Roush cars and are not sure they can. He ranks the Hendrick cars as 48, 24, 88 and 5. Eury thinks Jimmie Johnson is a top five car with Gordon a top 10 and Mears a 10th to 15th place car. He says the cars tobeat are the 16 and 99 hands down.

Michael Waltrip Racing, Ryan Pemberton, Crew Chief for David Reutimann...Ryan is not sure how the car will react today but he thinks they will be okay. He says the car is loose off the corners. We pointed out to Pemberton he saidthe same thing at New Hampshire and they had a very good finish. Ryan just said we will see.

Ganassi Racing, Brian Patti, Crew Chief for Juan Pablo Montoya...Patti thinks they will be okay today and can finish in the top 15 if they donot get wrecked. He says you would not think so, but Montoya really likesDover and Bristol. The car is a little tight coming off the corners however he believes they will be okay. As for the 41 of Reed Sorenson he says theyare pretty bad and with Reed leaving for Gillette-Evernham it is more like a single team operation right now.

Roush-Fenway Racing, Larry Carter, Crew Chief for Jamie McMurray...Carter says the 26 is good enough to run in the top five and says all of the Roush-Fenway cars with the exception of David Ragan are all top five cars. Ragan is not horrible but he has struggled a bit. He ranked the Roush cars as99, 17, 16, 26 and 6 but the top four in their group you could throw a blanketover. Other good cars according to Carter are the 48, 29, 07 and 88 but says Dale Jr might be hit or miss.

Richard Childress Racing, Todd Berrier, Crew Chief for Kevin Harvick...Berrier says they are very good as they have at least a top 10 car and is apotential top five. He says Jeff Burton has a top 10 car as well but did notknow about Clint Bowyer, So, we asked Bowyer Crew Chief Gill Martinwho thinks they will be good saying they are encouraged by their 6th place qualifying run. Berriers top cars are the 16, 99, 17, 48 and 29. He thinks the 18 will be good and 88 up and down. He also added that the 01 and 15will be okay today.

Chuck...sorry about the deal you and your neighbors are going through...been through a hurricane myself with eye coming right over my house...wasn't a lot of fun but thankfully it was not as powerful as Ike..I think the 99 and 48 will chop through the field pretty easily..Stewart is going to have a tougher time, but could still possibly manage a top-10..

i play in yahoo and have a choice to pick 2 between 18,1,16,8i only have 1 biffle start left and 2 busch starts leftis biffle such a good play this week that i go ahead and spend him for the season over the 1? (i am def using the 8 because he looks good and limited shedule)i have a few more starts for jr and martin to use in later races as well as the 2 busch starts and there are only eight races after this ...thanks

If the 26 comes in anywhere from 8th to 14th..first team should be really good because 48,16, and 11 could all run top-five with the right breaks.

Ed, I'd swap out the 11 and 24 for the 99 and 8..although I think the 11 is going to be good and have him on my team to open up some cap space..but think the 99 and 8 will score more points than 11-24...I like McMurray as a budget pick today along with Gilliland and then Reutimann.
