Chris Low (1:02 PM)
I'm in the house and ready to go.
Robert (Memphis)
What do you think about Alabama's X Factor Terrance Cody?
Chris Low (1:03 PM)
He's been the most dominant interior defensive lineman in the SEC to this point and clearly the newcomer who's had the greatest impact.
Mike (Baton Rouge, LA)
What's up with the Saban love fest? This is the same coach who had at least 3 losses every season but 1.
Chris Low (1:04 PM)
Would you be saying that if he were still at LSU?
Matt (Pcola, FL)
How do you see te Bama-Kentucky game shaping up come Saturday?
Chris Low (1:05 PM)
I just don't have a feel for Kentucky at this point because the Cats really haven't played anybody. I do believe their defense is very good. I just don't think they have enough offense to win at Alabama.
Dan(Dallas, TX)
Will this be the only time in recorded history that Gameday goes to Vandy?
Chris Low (1:06 PM)
Not if Vandy wins this weekend and the program takes off under Bobby Johnson. Of course, if that happens, somebody else will probably come in and steal him away.
David (Athens)
Chris, with all due respect, Cody is beast, but there must be someone else. He's in there for 2-3 plays and then out for about 3-4. I thought UGA held him in check nicely, I was expecting more from him.
Chris Low (1:07 PM)
They ran away from him most of the night, but he collapses the middle of the line by himself and the guy playing behind him, Rolando McClain, is the best middle linebacker in college football right now
Chance (College Station)
Will a team from the SEC go undefeated
Chris Low (1:07 PM)
That would be a definitive no.
Nat (Atlanta, GA)
What does Georgia have to do to have a chance at the East? They got absolutely mauled in that 1st half against Alabama. I think all the injuries are starting to take a toll, too.
Chris Low (1:09 PM)
The good thing is they get this week off to recover from some of those injuries. The East is still wide open, though. Even if Georgia loses to LSU, I think if the Bulldogs beat Florida in Jax, they win the East. Same with the Gators. I think it's going to come down to that game.
Nick Saban(Tuscaloosa, AL)
Can I break the 6 year losing streak in the Iron Bowl this year?
Chris Low (1:10 PM)
Nick, you of all people should know that we don't look that far ahead on the schedule. By the way, you sure were testy after such a big win the other night.
michael (Baton Rouge)
Why is Charles Scott not getting more attention? The guy is a beast running through the middle and he has been doing it against good defenses. If he keeps this up isn't he a legit heisman contender?
Chris Low (1:11 PM)
Good question. I don't know, because he's been super consistent. I had him among my top five this week in my Heisman poll.
D, Columbia, SC
Hey Chirs, what is your prediction for the SC-Ole Miss game? Can Garcia lead the Gamecocks to victory in Oxford?
Chris Low (1:13 PM)
I don't like the matchup for South Carolina of Ole Miss' defensive line vs. the Gamecocks' offensive line. I'm going with the Rebels in this one.
sam (sandersville GA)
How much impact will the return of UGA full back Branden Southerland make?
Chris Low (1:14 PM)
I would think a bunch. They really miss his lead blocking, his work in pass protection and they miss him around the goal line. He's a really strong leader, too.
Matt (Houston)
What do you think is going to happen with the QB situation at LSU. Once Hatch is back to 100%, do you think he'll get to share time with Lee, Or has Les Miles changed his mind, going with the one QB system?
Chris Low (1:15 PM)
As long as Lee is playing well and the Tigers are winning, I wouldn't tinker too much with it.
Virginia Charlotte
yes we said that about Saban when he was in BR. We loved him but were realistic. We don't drink the Coach kool aid. we drink the team.
Chris Low (1:16 PM)
That's ironic, because Nick made a reference to drinking the Kool-aid after the game the other night.
Mitch (Gainesville, FL)
Should Houston Nutt send Ed Orgeron a thank-you card for every player Coach O recruited to Ole Miss? I knew they'd be a good team this season. Didn't think it would show against the Gators though...
Chris Low (1:17 PM)
But the key is that Nutt has figured out a way to win with those players.
Mark (Nashville)
As a Vandy fan, I've seen this before. Do you think this is the year we finally make a bowl game?
Chris Low (1:19 PM)
This is the best chance they've had in a while. The most important thing is staying healthy. My take is that they have to win one of these next two games against Auburn and Miss. State. That's five wins. Then they absolutely have to beat Duke at home, which would be six wins. And then winning one of the final three against Kentucky, Tennessee and Wake Forest would get them to seven wins and a sure bowl game.
Matthew
Chris, I know your all SEC, but come on, they arent that good. Florida loosing to Ole Miss, Georgia getting POUNDED. I think the SEC is a bunch of average teams that never rarely play anyone good out of conference.
Chris Low (1:20 PM)
Then how is it that the SEC has managed to win three of the last five BCS national championships?
Ben (Philadelphia, PA)
Do you think UCS should be behind Georgia in the polls? I know they both lost but wasn't USC's loss to an unranked opponent worse? Do you think Penn State has a good chance of playing for the NC after this past weekend?
Chris Low (1:21 PM)
Of the Big Ten teams, I think Penn State has the best chance, especially if the SEC continues to beat up on each other.
Joe (Atlanta)
Low, Why is it that USC is ranked 9th and got beat by a team that wasn't in the top 25 and UGA fell below them to 11th and the got beat by a team in the top 10, WHY?????
Chris Low (1:22 PM)
The polls don't mean anythng at this point. Wait until late December to worry. If the Dogs win out and win the SEC championship, I still like their chances of playing in the BCS national championship game.
Anthony (Portland, OR)
Is USC vulnerable to Oregon after thier loss to OSU or will they come back with a vengeance?
Chris Low (1:23 PM)
I think USC has played its one stinker of the year.
Sam (Knoxville, TN)
Chris, UT sits at 1-3 right now. With all their problems, do you see them finish better than 6-6? If not, does Fulmer get the ax?
Chris Low (1:25 PM)
I'm thinking somewhere between 6-6 and 7-5, as if that can happen, right? I don't see him making it at 6-6. That would be two non-winning seasons in the last four years, and at Tennessee, nobody can survive that.

QUESTION TO CHRIS LOW AT 1.25 PM HI CHRIS LOW COULD OLE MISS GO TO A BOWWL GAMe
Chris Low (1:27 PM)
Yes, they could go, and I think they will go to one this year. I think Ole Miss could end up being the team down the stretch this season they nobody wants to play now that the Rebels are healthy in the defensive line.
Brandon (Columbus, OH)
In a response earlier you said no SEC team would go undefeated. If that is the case where do you see Bama slipping up? (besides SEC title game)
Chris Low (1:29 PM)
At LSU, home to Ole Miss, at Tennessee, home to Auburn ... Really, anywhere. It's just the nature of this conference. I just think it's too difficult for any team to go through unbeaten.
Will J (Portland, OR)
Was Florida a little overrated, or did they just play a bad game?
Chris Low (1:30 PM)
Both. Offensive line is pretty average and there's no feature RB they can lean on. Still, though, Tebow and Harvin are great players, and the defense has improved. I don't think the Gators will go away in the East race.
David (Southlake Texas)
Hard to believe, but LSU is flying under the radar at #2 and #3 respectively, how do you see the rest of the season unfolding for the Bengal Tigers?
Chris Low (1:31 PM)
We find about LSU in this next stretch after an open date this weekend -- at Florida, at South Carolina and home against Georgia. My guess is the Tigers lose one of those and go into the Bama game 7-1.
Craig (San Diego, CA)
Chris, why is byu ranked in the top 10? They are 4-0 and have beaten northern iowa, washington, ucla, and wyoming. UW, UCLA, and wyoming have a combined record of 3-10!! Which record will turn to 4-14 after they beat utah state this week. Why are they ranked this high?
Chris Low (1:33 PM)
You've got me. They're not in my Top 10. I guess they're getting a lot of mileage out of that drubbing of UCLA.
Jeff-Alabama
Why is Tony Franklin so stubborn and not start Kodi Burns, because all Auburn fans know that Chris Todd cant get it done.
Chris Low (1:35 PM)
I think Todd is having more issues with his shoulder, and that's really limiting him now. I'm guessing we see more and more of Burns.
Will J (Portland, OR)
Meyer has been at Florida for a number of years, but still hasn't had one feature back. What's been his problem, it's not like the state is lacking in RB talent.
Chris Low (1:39 PM)
It's hard sometimes to recruit great backs in the spread offense when the QB is so involved running.
grant (tuscaloosa, AL)
what are the chances of the alabama of recent years coming out against an unknown kentucky team or a great ole miss club? its been a good while since weve hd any consistency throughout the season. do you think saban is the coach that finally has what it takes to consistently win the big game in crimson and keep this team focused from week to week?
Chris Low (1:41 PM)
That's been his mantra, that you play the same way week to week no matter who the opponent is. He was already sending that message right after the Georgia game and has the second half of that game to use this week on the practice field. I think that will help get the players' attention.
George (Arlington, VA)
Who wins the battle of the most overrated teams in the top 25, Auburn or Vandy?
Chris Low (1:43 PM)
How can you call Vandy overrated? They beat Ole Miss on the road, and Ole Miss won at Florida. They beat South Carolina, which took Georgia to the final possession of the game.
Bob (florida)
Do you think Tebow will straighten out his passing? Several times he had wide open receivers and over threw them or threw way to low?
Chris Low (1:45 PM)
He was running for his life a lot of the game against Ole Miss. But, really, he's never been a great pocket passer. The other thing is that it looks like his timing is off right now with some of his receivers.
Chris (Abilene, TX)
Is Texas A&M going to win a conference game this year?
Chris Low (1:47 PM)
It's hard for me to see one.
Chris Low (1:48 PM)
Thanks for the questions. We'll do it again next Monday.
