Tim Graham (3:00 PM)
Good afternoon, everybody. I'm here at Graham headquarters in Coral Springs, Fla., and ready to roll.
Tim Graham (3:01 PM)
It should be noted I have the NFL Network on in my home office. The 1990 Bills episode of America's Game: The Missing Rings is coming on as I type this. Did anybody see the debut last night?
TK (brooklyn)
Tim, Buffalo's McGee likely wont play on sunday due to his sprained knee, so that means Youboty and McKelvin both have the opportunity to set up and make some plays. Do you see the Bills rotating both guys in the slot and on the outside? If not who do you think starts as the outside corner?
Tim Graham (3:02 PM)
McGee definitely is out for Sunday's game. An NFL source informed me this morning McGee isn't making the trip. The Bills have been coy about how they're going to fill McGee's absence, but expect both McKelvin and Youboty to get a chance to make plays. If you have to pick one over the other, McKelvin is the logical replacement. He's the 11th overall pick. Youboty was close to getting trading in training camp.
Larry Port Charlotte, FL
Do you see Miami using Ted Ginn more in the new Wildcat formation along with Ricky from the other side.
Tim Graham (3:03 PM)
That's an intriguing idea. Dolphins coach Tony Sparano has hinted other players could get involved, and Ginn was a noted high school quarterback. He's fast and he can throw ...
Jon (Rochester)
Tim, what do I need to do to become a professional blogger for ESPN? I'll forward you my resume.
Tim Graham (3:04 PM)
Come on, Jon. No professionals here. Can't you tell by reading my work ESPN hires only amateurs?
Dan (Windsor, CT)
Looking back on it, how do the Jets look now for trading up to draft Darrelle Revis, and selecting him over Leon Hall?
Tim Graham (3:04 PM)
Darrelle Revis is a special player, and he's making the Jets look very smart for drafting him. He's going to play in many Pro Bowls before he retires.
Scott, Las Cruces, NM
Do you see San Diego having a huge matchup advantage in situations where Matt Roth will have to cover Gates?
Tim Graham (3:05 PM)
There's a matchup problem no matter where Gates lines up, but against Matt Roth especially. Roth hasn't been terrible, mind you. It's just that he's always been a defensive end and has been playing outside linebacker since training camp.
Search Committee (Boston, Ma)
What happened to Ben Watson, there was a citing of him in the Miami game, but will he be making an impact for the Pats this week or ever this season?
Tim Graham (3:06 PM)
Matt Cassel shook off that question at his weekly news conference. But his inexperience and Watson's injury have contributed to a lack of chemistry there. If healthy, he's still a serious red-zone threat.
Jon (Rochester)
Sounds like I'm qualified then.
Tim Graham (3:06 PM)
If I'm qualified, anybody is.
Mike
Thoughts on the Eric Smith suspension?
Tim Graham (3:08 PM)
I thought it was too steep. The Kerry Rhodes knock from behind made it look worse than Eric Smith's hit alone.
Scott: Poughkeepsie, NY
Honestly: What are the chances the Bills end up in Toronto in the next 10 years? Don't you think the old Bills players (Kelly, Thurman, Bruce) will buy the team and put a new stadium on the river?
Tim Graham (3:09 PM)
That's the $1 billion question. Unfortunately, I think the chances are good. I hope the Bills stay in Buffalo. But the problem for Buffalonians is that Ted Rogers badly wants an NFL team, and he might be too wealthy to compete with. Jim Kelly and Jack Kemp have access to many millions. According to Forbes, Rogers is worth $5.7 billion, or about 3 1/2 times as much as Sabres owner and potential Bills savior Tom Golisano.
Charlie (Miami, ME)
Tim, as you may have noticed, I posted on one of your rather brazen or questionable articles reguarding how to stop Miami's Wildcat offense. You suggested that opposing teams just go right after Chad Pennington within the 5 yards and just try to straight up intentionally injure him! Now is that really what you think is a good idea? I don't think any NFL team with any self respect or respect for another team would do something like that and I find your entire premise fairly childish. What are your thoughts?
Tim Graham (3:10 PM)
If it's so childish, then why did Dolphins coach Tony Sparano say it was a concern of his?
nick (bills, ny):
ONCE AGAIN YOU UNDERESTIMATE THE FANS IN BUFFALO....THE BILLS WILL NEVER LEAVE
Tim Graham (3:11 PM)
The fans will have a lot less say than you presume they will. I'm from Cleveland and was there when the Browns pulled out. Do you think the fans shrugged?
Travis, Canada
Tim, be honest the newspaper is about to go the way of the DoDo bird and that's why you left the field, because the internet and radio are more important then the paper now, since most information in it is usually a day late in being delivered.
Tim Graham (3:12 PM)
Be honest? Why would I have to lie about that?
SprungOnSports (Long Island)
New England's defense looked old against Miami, how do you think they respond this week against Gore and JTO?
Tim Graham (3:13 PM)
With two weeks to prepare, I would bet on a Bill Belichick defense. I think they'll have a nice bounce-back game. If not, Patriot Nation should start buying antacids in bulk.
nick (bills, ny):
bils are not going anywhere mark my words
Tim Graham (3:14 PM)
They've been marked. But if you think this chat is going into some sort of time capsule, you've overestimated me.
Charlie (Miami, ME)
I believe he said it was a concern of his that he might get hurt which is a reasonable concern. However, you directly advocated for lighting him up at the line of scrimmage and potentially intentionally injuring him. I think we can all agree that would be considered a dirty play. Do you agree?
Tim Graham (3:14 PM)
You're dead wrong. I never advocated such a thing. Never, ever. Read it again.
Cosmo (Anytown, USA)
You might want to put Nick (bills, ny) in touch with any of the Sonics fans from Seattle. They need to talk.
Tim Graham (3:15 PM)
How's the weather in Anytown these days? Leaves turning yet?
Bill Westchester
Now that Evans has been taking care of do you see Jauron up next for the extention? Or do you think they will wait out the season. Afterall jauron only has 1 winning season as a head coach.
Tim Graham (3:16 PM)
This lineup would make sense: Jauron then Jason Peters then Trent Edwards. But those deals could be spread out over the next year or two.
Skeptical (Buffalo NY)
I've read a lot of articles that say many Canadians don't want an NFL franchise in Toronto - What makes you so sure that they could even survive competing with the Argonauts?
Tim Graham (3:17 PM)
That's a joke, right?
Tug, Memhis
If the QB is out there, you hit him like you hit any other player right?
Tim Graham (3:18 PM)
Here's what future Hall of Fame guard Bob Kuechenberg told me when I asked him how he would play against an injured Shawne Merriman:
Tim Graham (3:18 PM)
Long answer so bear with me ... "You have to go after it. You've got to do what's best for your team. You've go to do your job. You may not say exactly "Go at his knees." But if the player has a weak link, that's what you have to attack."
Tim Graham (3:19 PM)
(continued) "I remember Dick Butkus was pretty limp, dragging his knee pretty badly the only time I got an opportunity to play him. It was late in his career. We were champions already, and the Bears were pretty bad. Everybody knew we were going to win by a big margin, and he was my brother Rudy's roommate. So when we were watching films, you could see that if you wanted to own Butkus, you took him out at the knee. But I told myself "Nope. I'm not going to go high. I'm going to take him on like a man." The first time I tried that it wasn't very enjoyable. Every play after that I was going right for that knee."
Tim Graham (3:19 PM)
(continued) " Football's a tough game. It's his body, and may God's will be done."
Tim Graham (3:20 PM)
Now that's from a guy who honors the football code like nobody else I've ever spoken to. If a player is vulnerable, then it's either his fault or his team's.
Bennie, Tulsa
Considering how accident prone penningon is, Miami is mixing risk with reward lining him up out of the pocket....blame the coach if he gets hurt blocking.
Tim Graham (3:20 PM)
Two shoulder surgeries on his throwing arm. I wouldn't want a DB lining up to jam him.
Drew (NY)
Tim, watched the NFL "Missing Rings" last night. Well done. But it was tough. However, Talley describing Kelly's nickname of "Heathcliff" was worth the price of admission alone though.
Tim Graham (3:23 PM)
They made you pay to watch it? I loved looking into the stands to catch all the fashionistas in their Zubaz.
Charlie (Miami, ME)
Well thats why they have Henne. Pennington is doing a great job so far but he is only holding the reins for Henne.
Tim Graham (3:24 PM)
You're right, but the Dolphins want Pennington to hold those reins a lot longer than half a season.
Matt (St. Louis, MO)
Am I crazy or can the Dolphins pull out a victory against the Chargers?
Tim Graham (3:26 PM)
You're not crazy. The Chargers' defense has shown little so far. They rank 32nd against the pass. But the Dolphins need to be able to stretch the field to take advantage of that weakness.
SprungOnSports (Long Island)
How big of a storyline down there is Chris Chambers' return to Miami, and will he have a good game there?
Tim Graham (3:27 PM)
Not much of one. Dolfans are pretty indifferent about Chambers and are shocked when they hear commentators or Chargers fans rave about him.
Dave (Dallas)
Tim, Great job on the Blog so far. You seem to be the only talking about how stupid it was for the Bills to put Angelo Crowell on IR. Do you know who's call that was? Maybe Ralph Wilson??
Tim Graham (3:27 PM)
Maybe.
Ryan (Boston)
What do you think the Bills chances are this weekend in Arizona? 5-0, then with 2 weeks to prepare for the Chargers? Any chance they're undefeated going into Foxboro in November?
Tim Graham (3:30 PM)
That would make them 8-0 heading into the Patriots. That would mean wins against the Cards, Chargers, Jets and Dolphins between now and then. That sounds highly unlikely to me. They can win each of those games. Don't get me wrong. But it's so hard to win each week even against doormats, as the Patriots and Broncos have learned.
ray gordon reid ARLINGTON TX 76001
TO TIM GRIFFIN AT 3.30 PM HI TIM WHAT HAPPEN TO DENVER DEFENSE
Tim Graham (3:30 PM)
I'll forward your question to Mr. Griffin. He'll call you at home later this afternoon.
Dave (St. Bonaventure, NY)
Tim, Who do you see winning the AFC East now? Looks like its pretty up in the air. I could the Bills, Jets or Pats all winning.
Tim Graham (3:31 PM)
The Bills are in the driver's seat and there's enough parity that I don't see any of the other teams streaking down the homestretch. So unless the Bills collapse, I think they win it.
nick (bills, ny):
now that weve established the bills are staying in buffalo, back to my original question...who is the bigger loss, mcgee or boldin?
Tim Graham (3:32 PM)
Are you reading the same chat as the rest of us?
Trevor, NY
Tim, How do you feel about the fact that the Red Sox are marching towards back to back world series?
Tim Graham (3:32 PM)
About the same as I feel about a new supermarket opening in Des Moines.
Tim Graham (3:34 PM)
A quick side note: Thanks to all the Bills fans for coming on the chats. You outnumber the other teams combined by about a 4-to-1 margin. Much of that is because of Two Bills Drive. Thanks for coming out.
chris (boston, mass)
you espn guys crack me up always hating on new england sports ... why don't you guys just get it over with and put on the ny gear!!!
Tim Graham (3:35 PM)
So if I say I don't care about the Red Sox winning the World Series I hate them? I must hate a lot of things, then. Don't sprain your ankle jumping to that conclusion.
Ben (Montreal)
Who let out the crazys in this chat?
Tim Graham (3:35 PM)
I'm blaming the election year overflow.
Jon (rochester)
Tim, gotta give you props for 20 hot wings at Duff's. Amherst or OP?
Tim Graham (3:36 PM)
I got that batch in Amherst, but I've found the ones in Orchard Park are a little better for some reason.
Jesse (Boise, ID)
Could Ralph Wilson dictate in his will that the winning bidder must keep the team in Buffalo?
Tim Graham (3:37 PM)
Probably. But from what I'm told he has chosen not to. It simply says it goes to the highest bidder. Period. Or so I'm told from someone who would know.
Cosmo (Anytown, USA)
It's always a nice day in Anytown. But you've got to mulch. You've got to!
chris (boston, mass)
whats wrong tim is the cat out the bag?
Tim Graham (3:38 PM)
Meaning?
John (St Petersburg, Florida)
What ever happened to WR Earnest Wilford who the Dolphins signed this offseason. Are they going to get him into the game any more, shop him around, or just let him sit on the roster?
Tim Graham (3:39 PM)
It's hard to imagine anybody wanting to take on that contract. A lot of teams have needed receivers and haven't made the move. I suspect he'll sit there and rot until he starts practicing up to expectations.
Rich
Is it too soon to call Vernon Gholston a bust?
Tim Graham (3:40 PM)
Way too soon. Early next season we can start debating that. He's too physically gifted, but he needs more time to learn how to play outside linebacker.
Mike, Los Angeles
How will the Pats use Maroney this weekend? It would seem they've got to get a consistent offensive plan in place that would start with the running game.
Tim Graham (3:42 PM)
My brother wants to know the same thing because he has Lamont Jordan on his fantasy team. Maroney has been practicing fully for two weeks, but he has been inconsistent. Jordan has been the more reliable back but hasn't gotten the carries until later in the games. It will be interesting to see who the Patriots go with early in San Francisco.
Steve (nyc)
Just to clarify here, when a player goes on the IR they cannot be activated all season? What a terrible decision to put Crowell on the IR. Did that move cement his departure in the offseason?
Tim Graham (3:42 PM)
True. True. Yes.
Ryan (DSM)
I found myself in a predicament: I dafted Addia, Larry Johnson, and Brandon Jacobs and picked up Chris Johnson and Slaton but I need a WR/TE. Who do I trade?
Tim Graham (3:44 PM)
Wow. Tough choice. I'd say trade Slaton while his value is high. He'll perform for somebody else's team in your league, but the others are better.
Ryan (Boston)
Alright, if you don't want to answer my fantasy question can you forward it on to your brother?
Tim Graham (3:44 PM)
Sure. He'll call you tomorrow morning, sometime around 8:30.
Mikey (Philly)
No one cares about your fantasy team, let alone your brother's. In fact, no one cares about anyone else fantasy teams. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Tim Graham (3:45 PM)
I don't have a fantasy team.
Dave (Pittsburgh, PA)
What's up with Hardy's progression in Buffalo? When do you expect him to start making a consistant impact ?
Tim Graham (3:46 PM)
The Bills threw at him a lot in St. Louis. He's in the game plan, especially with Parrish out of the lineup. He could break out any week now.
Rich, Philly
When Eric Smith got fined 50k and suspended for a game does he lose that weeks pay as well?
Tim Graham (3:47 PM)
The $50,000 includes his one-game pay, which if I remember correctly was about half that.
Matt (New York)
TG why did you rank the Redskins so low on your power rankings for this week?
Tim Graham (3:49 PM)
I'm not sold on Jason Campbell, and I didn't think they looked all that great against the Cardinals, a team that imploded against the Jets.
Bubba (MN)
Will Matt Schaub ever be a good NFL QB?
Tim Graham (3:49 PM)
I'm not a fan.
Pete (Philadelphia)
Is this weeks Game against the Redskins a must win for the Eagles? If they lose can they over come 2 losses in division so early?
Tim Graham (3:50 PM)
I don't think it's a must-win yet. They can overcome two early division losses because I think those NFC East teams are going to beat each other all year.
Jimbo (Springfield)
What are you, 8 years old? Or is that an old grade school picture up there?
Tim Graham (3:51 PM)
I'm probably 35 in that picture. I'm 37 now.
Trevor, NY
Tim, I am sorry to see that your passion for sports is fading. The Boston Red Sox are one of the greatest stories in the last 100 years. I guess that happens when you come from a city that never has a realistic chance of winning in any of the four major sports.
Tim Graham (3:51 PM)
My passion for baseball has faded. That's what happens when it turns into a statistical mockery.
Brad ( Jamestown, Ny
What are your thought's on people comparing Trent Edwards to Joe Montana
Tim Graham (3:53 PM)
People in Buffalo say a lot of things.
char (hoboken, nj)
tim - im beginning to worry that marshawn lynch wont break 100yds a game this year...is there a reason they aren't running him as much?
Tim Graham (3:54 PM)
They're using him enough. I'm not sure if it's a concerted effort to limit his carries, I'm not sure. But perhaps they're trying to keep him fresh and healthy for the long haul. Fred Jackson is a good backup, but he's no Marshawn Lynch.
Mikey(Lackawanna,NY)
Why did the Bills cut Darian Barnes for Corey Mcintyre? I liked Barnes! Is Mcintyre going to be that much better?
Tim Graham (3:55 PM)
I think it strictly was a special-teams decision.
Mr. Igglesworth (Brooklyn)
Trent Edwards could potentially be Better than Tom Brady.
Tim Graham (3:56 PM)
So could my 16-year-old nephew. But I doubt it.
Christian (Buffalo)
Hey Tim, just like porn, blogging has no amateurs. Unlike porn, good blogging takes some wit and effort, which is why I read you. (doubt you can post that)
Tim Graham (3:57 PM)
Let's try and see if an editor deletes it. That was too funny NOT to post.
John(Buffalo)
Tim, Bill Walsh, Marv Levy, Ron Jaworski, Steve Young, Rich Gannon, Peter King just to name a few have said they believe Trent Edwards will be a star(ProBowl) caliber QB in the NFL! Can we add your name to this list?
Tim Graham (3:59 PM)
Sure, but Pro Bowls are like boxing championships these days. You can get to Honolulu if the starter backs out with an injury or whatnot and they start going down the list. All Pro is the real measure of greatness.
Brandon (Bellevue, WA)
I am not even a fan of the AFC West but your dry wit and self-deprecating humor has made me read your chats every week. Keep up the good work.
Tim Graham (4:00 PM)
I'll let Bill Williamson know you enjoy his work.
Bill (York, PA)
Hey Tim! Love the chats, and thanks for doing them! Anyways, do you think Peters is now the bellweather for those who are thinking of holding out? His play so far has been....substandard (and I'm being nice). You think the Bills will still extended seeing as how his play has obviously declined early in the season?
Tim Graham (4:01 PM)
There are a lot of reasons to point at Peters as an example of how not to go about your business. He has the same contract as before he held out and his subpar play is hurting his team.
Brandon (Bellevue, WA)
Ok, I accidently put West but stop using your wit at my expense or I will start being obnoxious like the rest of these fools.
Tim Graham (4:01 PM)
Thanks for the kind words, Brandon.
BUFFALO, THE CITY:

Do they have any openings over there at ESPN? Perhaps in the AFC East blogging department? Would love to see this move a little faster, more editors!
Tim Graham (4:02 PM)
I've hit the hour mark. How about if I stop it completely?
WillissTampa
Tim, love the chat! Buffalos team is young and the future looks bright, right? We've been drinking the kool aid in Buffalo for too long and I'm not sure if I'm still sane..
Tim Graham (4:03 PM)
They look like they're going to be good for a long time. I'm not yet ready to say they'll be great or perennial Super Bowl contenders, but they have a young core of talent that's indisputable.
Doc (Knoxville)
The reason Bills fans outnumber others 4 to 1 is because it takes four Bills fans added together to equal the intelligence of a fan from any other team. They're not even half-wits; they're quarter-wits. Edwards is not Montana!
Internet Tough Guy (Cyberspace)
AFC East? What a joke. I could kick the crap out of all of those guys, even the Patriots with Tom Brady. What a bunch of losers.
Tim Graham (4:05 PM)
Sometimes I have no comment. I just like to post messages that make me laugh.
Dave (Pittsburgh, PA)
What are the chances that Mr. Wilson will put the Bills up for sale before he passes? Therebye giving him more control over who's hands the team ends up in.
Tim Graham (4:05 PM)
By all accounts, the chances are zero.
Tim Graham (4:07 PM)
OK, fellas ... I can go for a while longer. Let's keep up the AFC East questions.
Matt Millen (unemployed)
Tim, if you're giving up the blog, I'll take it. But not only do I not know anything about the AFC East, I don't know anything about the NFL. I hope that's ok.
Tim Graham (4:08 PM)
That same background got me hired. I don't see why it couldn't work for you.
Ron (Orlando)
Tim, do you see Chad Henne starting any games this year for the Dolphins?
Tim Graham (4:09 PM)
Good question. I don't think he will based purely on merit because the front office wants Henne to marinate. But Pennington is injury-prone. I think that's Henne's best chance to start.
Andy (Fairfax VA)
I have not seen anyone ask you how you think the Bills will do against Arizona on Sunday... Thoughts??
Tim Graham (4:10 PM)
They got away with slow starts against the Raiders and Rams. They can't do that against the Cards. If the Bills are sharp from the opening kickoff, they'll win. They're the better team.
Aaron Poughkeepsie, NY
Tim what are your thoughts on the Lee Evans extension? too much money, long enough time span? and do you think Evans will play up to that 3rd highest paid WR expectations?
Tim Graham (4:11 PM)
I thought it was appropriate. He deserves the money, although some scoff of the company it places him in. He's critical to the long-term future of the offense.
Kevin W Bills backers ATL, GA

Never. Extra saucy and a side of bleu cheese.
Dave (LV)
Do you think we'll see anymore of those runs like in the 70s where the Bills didn't beat the Dolphins for the entire decade, or is their too much parity in the game today?
Tim Graham (4:12 PM)
You just made Browns fans cry and Steelers fans laugh uncontrollably.
Mr. Igglesworth (Brooklyn)
Tim, It's clear that the NFC has the better teams this year. Do you think the Bills of '08 could hang with any of the teams in the NFC East?
Tim Graham (4:12 PM)
Hang with? Yes. Beat consistently? No.
Ryan (Rochester)
Uhh.. You said "two bills drive", isn't it "one bills drive"?
Tim Graham (4:13 PM)
Two Bills Drive is a fan Web site where they link this chat. It drives a lot of Bills fans here. I don't know of any other AFC East team sites that do that.

I see you like boxing are you going to watch the mma matches this weekend in between college football. Kimbo Slice is fighting and a rebroadcast of Forest Griffin and Rampage Jackson
Tim Graham (4:16 PM)
I'll watch the Kimbo Slice fight. He's a curiosity. I hope he loses because I think he's a TV concoction whose stealing attention from the fighters who deserve it.
John (Columbus, OH)
What do you think of the Jets young DB tandem of Revis and Lowery?
Tim Graham (4:16 PM)
I love the Jets defensive backfield. It reminds me (potentially) of the Kansas City Chiefs of the late 1980s.
Williss Tampa
Tim...thanks for staying longer! What happens to JP Losman after the season and do you think there is any chance he stays as our #2? If not, who do we look at for our #2, draft or FA vet?
Tim Graham (4:17 PM)
I don't think Losman's pride will allow him to come back. As for who the Bills will go after, that's a good question. The safe bet is a serviceable vet.
John (Miami)
Will Ronnie Brown go off again this weekend? or will he fade back into mediocrity?
Tim Graham (4:20 PM)
I think the Chargers are going to try to force Pennington to beat them down field. So it could be a tough ground game for the Dolphins.
Tim Graham (4:20 PM)
That said, though, Brown is a factor in the passing game. So he has ways to produce.
Richie

I disagree. Although it is a very good game, I'd have to say Donkey Kong for Nintendo is the greatest game ever. (Also, Tim, that was from Billy Madison, that old Adam Sandler movie)
Tim Graham (4:26 PM)
I was looking for an off-topic topic.

Do you think the Buffalo Bills have a chance to have a home playoff game this year? I am a season ticket holder and that would be awesome!

With the way all the so-called preseason favorites are stumbling out of the gate, I would say it's entirely possible.
Matt (St. Louis)
What do you think the Dolphins will focus on in next years draft? It seems that Parcells has them on the right track, but year two will be more telling.
Tim Graham (4:30 PM)
They have to get a receiver or two and some help in the secondary.

Legit question: Is it safe to say that Favre and Coles have kissed and made up or just a one game phenomenon?
Tim Graham (4:33 PM)
I'm not sure there was discord between them. I think Coles just made a mistake by letting the media believe there was an issue by not speaking for weeks after Favre arrived.

As much as I hate the Pats & Bell-A-Cheat I think Moss will play up to his best and still be a huge threat. Do you think its unfair how they're already writing him off?
Tim Graham (4:34 PM)
I don't think it's unfair because it's his own doing. That's his history. But I'm not ready to write him off yet.
Bills Shout Song (Ralph Wilson Stadium)
Hey, whats wrong with me???
Tim Graham (4:34 PM)
You and the Miami Dolphins song need to get together and pull off a murder-suicide.
Bryan (New Mexico)
Tedd Ginn will have 100 recieving yards and two TDs this weekend.
Tim Graham (4:35 PM)
I'm posting that for the public record. Probably won't happen, but if it does you deserve credit for the prediction.
Matt (St. Louis)
Are you surprised at how well the Dolphins O line has came together?
Tim Graham (4:36 PM)
Not overall, but given that they lost their starting right guard (a rookie) in Week 1 and plugged in a guy with little experience, I'd have to say what they did to the Patriots in Week 3 was amazing.
Tim Graham (4:38 PM)
Is it just me or is the NHL Network a joke compared to the NFL Network? "The Greatest Overtime Goals of the 1993 Playoffs." Really? That list had to be tough to whittle down.
PREDICT-O-MATIC (NFL HQ)
marshawn lynch vs arizona 152yds 2tds (one by air)
Tim Graham (4:38 PM)
You mean throwing or receiving?
Travis (Canada)
Timmer, what's the website, you really don't self-promote yourself enough and that is rule one of being a chat host here!
Tim Graham (4:39 PM)
Which site do you speak of?
Ryan (Rochester)
What is the story on Stroud? Is he playing this weekend?
Tim Graham (4:39 PM)
From what I hear, Stroud will play.
Tom Brady( Crying at home)
Why is that nobody is talking about how i was lost for the season. Where are all the Patriot fans?
Tim Graham (4:39 PM)
They want to know why you've vanished since you got hurt.
Tim Graham (ESPN)
Hi Tim, this is your alter-ego. and I'm a patriots fan. I though I should let you know. The Matt Cassel Era has BEGUN!
Tim Graham (4:40 PM)
Upon learning this, I don't know whether I should drink more or less.
Dave Wanstasche (Pittsburgh, OH)
Take that South Florida!!!!!!
Tim Graham (4:41 PM)
Big win for the 'stache. But Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, Dave. You made a wrong turn on I-76.
Frank (Leonard, CT)
Do you think if you ignore comments about how awful JP Losman is long enough everyone will just forget he existed?
Tim Graham (4:42 PM)
I don't think he's awful. He's just not a difference-maker on this particular team. He needs a change of scenery.
Al Davis (Land of Confusion)
Tim you believe me right??
Tim Graham (4:43 PM)
You know how to stage a news conference. I'll grant you that. What the hell was that you were wearing?
Matt Mosley (ESPN.com)
NFC East blogger > AFC East blogger
Tim Graham (4:44 PM)
Very true.
Travis (Canada)
Timmer, you don't have your own site yet??
Tim Graham (4:45 PM)
I thought I would try a houseplant or a puppy first to see if I could handle the responsibility. We're still trying to determine if I'm fit ...
Petey (Coney Island)
Tim, should Drury be the Rangers captain?
Tim Graham (4:46 PM)
No. And the reason I say that is because a captain in New York has major media responsibilities Drury won't do well with. But he's a leader, for sure.
Bucky Gleason (TBN)
I'm jealous of you. I think I'm going to write an awful article now.
Tim Graham (4:47 PM)
The real Bucky gets a bad rap among Buffalo sports fans. He's a better writer than I'll ever be.
Buffalo Offensive line (Buffalo New York)
Why can't we run block?
Tim Graham (4:47 PM)
Because your center is too small and your left tackle took the summer off.
Matt (St. Louis)
Tim, Is there any hope the Dolphins don't finish in last place in the AFC East?
Tim Graham (4:49 PM)
We'll know more Sunday. They don't have to beat the Chargers, but if they back up their victory over the Patriots with another encouraging performance, then we might be witnessing an official turnaround.
Tim Graham (4:50 PM)
I'm glad all you guys are sticking around. I enjoy these chats.
Jesse (Boise, ID)
Super Techmo Bowl > Techmo Bowl (Thurman Thomas was awesome in it!)
Tim Graham (4:51 PM)
It was a perfect video game. That and Baseball Stars stole many hours of my teeanage years.
Lee Evans (Laughing at the Bank)
All I do is catch a deep ball and then disappear for the rest of the game can you believe that I'm the third highest paid WR in the game!!!
Tim Graham (4:53 PM)
That describes a lot of receivers. Evans catches the ball when it's thrown to him.
Baldwin-Wallace College
Long time no see...what's up?
Tim Graham (4:54 PM)
Stop calling me for donations.
Dmitri Kalinin (NYC)
Tim, what stadium do you think is the toughest to play in in the AFC-East(as an away team)?
Tim Graham (4:55 PM)
They're all tough when the crowds are in it, but I'd have to say Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Tim Graham (4:55 PM)
Dmitri, where the heck did you learn to write English so well. Maybe we should have conducted our interviews via e-mail all those years.
MT (atlanta)
Tim who is your MVP? Coach of the year? etc.? for the AFC East?
Tim Graham (4:57 PM)
MVP: Trent Edwards; coach of the year: Dick Jauron; rookie of the year: Jerod Mayo.
Tim Graham (4:57 PM)
Not for the year ... Just after four games.
T'd off Miami fan (Miami)
What? RWS? Have you played in the heat and himitidy down here?
Tim Graham (4:59 PM)
Heat and humidity is all Dolphin Stadium has going for it. Rows and rows of empty orange seats. Wilson Stadium has weather and crowd issues opponents must deal with.
Travis Henry (Denver)
hey Tim, I got a biz oppty for you that's too good to pass up. Can you meet me tonight round midnight? Meet me on the eastside and come alone...
Tim Graham (5:00 PM)
Thanks, but ummm ... I have to mow my car.
Tim Graham (5:01 PM)
We're at the two-hour mark, folks. I'll stay on a little longer ...
Ralph Wilson (Buffalo)
I'm not going to sell the team I'll just distract them with one of my rants that dont go anywhere. Like the time we went over to Detroit during the war, I wore an onion on my belt....which was the style at the time...you couldnt get those white ones, you could only get those big yellow ones.................now where was I........oh yeah, the important thing was I was wearing an onion on my nelt, which was the style at the time, you couldnt get those...
Tim Graham (5:02 PM)
Union busters!
The one hour mark
You said that about me, too :-(
Tim Graham (5:02 PM)
I moved on, baby.
Your Stalker
Come On Tim, We all know you go home at night and rock out to Dance Dance Revolution (The Disney Version)
Tim Graham (5:03 PM)
Next time your nose is pressed against the window, knock. I'll let you in.
Maxim Afinogenov
Me Maaaaax....you Tim Graham. Will Marshawn lycnh score for 1000 yard this year?
Tim Graham (5:04 PM)
That's a safe prediction. He might also have more goals than you.
Ryan (VA)
Tim, fill in the blank: The Bills make me wanna ______ ! Heyyyyayyyyayyyyayyy!
Tim Graham (5:04 PM)
Blog?
Every Buffalo Fan
SHOUT!!!!
Tim Graham (5:05 PM)
I didn't know that.
Tim Graham (5:06 PM)
OK. I need to wrap this up. If you have more questions or comments, feel free to drop a line in the AFC East mailbag.
Mayor of Buffalo
Why doesn't any work get done in my city every Friday between 4 and 5?
Tim Graham (5:07 PM)
Output dwindled at 3 p.m., Byron.
Tim Graham (5:08 PM)
Thanks, everybody!
