Amanda (1:00 PM)
Colin will be here in just a minute...start the questions coming and we'll begin as soon as he's finished cutting his promos.
Denny (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Herd, do you think the Pats are going to cover the 3 point spread tonight?
Colin (1:03 PM)
I'm in the minority...I like the Pats tonight.
David (Eugene,OR)
Hi Colin, why do you call Amanda's husband acorn boy?
Colin (1:04 PM)
I don't really have a good reason for it. It just happened one day and stuck.
Cory (Bellingham, Wa)
Herd, Put the top 2 in the BCS title game (Texas/Alabama). Give me a score.
Colin (1:04 PM)
Texas would win...don't think Alabama is experienced enough at the skill positions...
Matt (Chicago)
Do you think the Buffalo Bills can make the super bowl?
Colin (1:04 PM)
It'd be tough to get past Tennessee in the AFC.
Nick (Atlanta, GA.)
Colin, girlfriend just broke up with me. How do I get her back?
Colin (1:05 PM)
Stalk her. That worked for me.
RJ (Orlando)
Herd -- I'm 21 and graduate in may. 3 Options, Grad School, Real World, or Vegas?
Colin (1:05 PM)
Real world. Get some experience.
Zack (State College)
Colin, what do you think the key to the game is in the PSU-OSU game
Colin (1:06 PM)
Penn State can't fall behind early. It'll be a tough atmosphere. THey've got to make Pryor throw the ball.
Ira (La Jolla)
Do you really generate that great of ratings talking solely about the Dallas Cowboys or did you just lose your shirt betting on them the last two sundays?
Colin (1:06 PM)
The Cowboys are the most interesting team in the NFL. Name another team with that much drama.
Drew (Stuart, FL)
Colin, is there much talk of the LSU-USC ref hit video amongst the insiders?
Colin (1:07 PM)
Hadn't heard about it until today when an emailer sent the link. But apparently Rece Davis and the crew mentioned this past weekend on Saturday night.
Andy (Fort Collins)
Who wins youre nightmare of a world series?
Colin (1:07 PM)
Tampa Bay.
Bryan (Waterbury)
What are your super bowl picks as of right now ?
Colin (1:08 PM)
I'll go with the Titans and Giants.
Mike D (Va beach)
Will this be the worse tv ratings for a world series in history?
Colin (1:09 PM)
Not sure. I think the Rays have captured some of the national interest with their game 7 win over the Red Sox.
john (cincinnati)
colin, i am surprised that people are falling for these teams in the big10 again. haven't we seen penn state before...osu...rolling thru a weak non-conference and soft big10 schedule only to get blown out by a team from a much stronger conference like the big12 or sec because the level of play in those conferences is so tough every week.
Colin (1:10 PM)
Yes but the difference is PSU has SEVERAL playmakers on offense...Royster, Clark, Norwood, Williams, Butler. Previous teams just had one or two at best.
Matt (Atl)
Soup or Salad ?
Colin (1:10 PM)
Just ate a rice krispie treat. Does that count?
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Penn State goes unbeaten. Florida wins the SEC title game. Texas takes a loss somewhere but wins the Big 12 title. Who plays in the BCS title game?
Colin (1:11 PM)
Penn State isn't going to get left out if they are undefeated.
Jeff (University Park, Pa)
As someone who wants to get into the sports entertainment business, sports journalists to be exact, do you have any advice for me?
Colin (1:12 PM)
Yes, dont.
Greg (Atlanta, GA)
Are you a plus one playoff guy or no playoffs at all for college fb?
Colin (1:12 PM)
I'd like to see a plus one format.
Mack (Alabama)
Do you think Auburn will go after Lane Kiffin if their season doesn't turn around?
Colin (1:13 PM)
Tuberville is there to stay. Don't be silly.
Ron (Utica, NY)
Hey Colin, if Purdue were to run the table and Superman was made of ketchup who would win the Stanley Cup?
Colin (1:13 PM)
Shoot me now. The Yankees maybe?
Kyle (Ferdinand, IN)
Do you feel that the refs tackle was intentional? Looks like his feet leave the ground.
Colin (1:13 PM)
I absolutely do. I don't believe in ghosts and big foot, but that is not make believe. It looked like he was having a flashback.
Jim (MD)
Have you ever played a sport in your life?
Colin (1:14 PM)
Absolutely...QB in high school...basketball in high school and college.
Mark (Toronto)
Who would be in line to replace Wade Phillips in Dallas?
Colin (1:14 PM)
It's pretty obvious...Jason Garrett is the guy.
Bill (NJ)
Favorite drinking game in college?
Colin (1:15 PM)
"Bob" after the Bob Newhart show.
Phillip (Chapel Hill, NC)
Who would win in a fight between you and Greenberg?
Colin (1:15 PM)
I think that's obvious.
Jim (Tigard, Oregon)
Whos gets the job at University of Washington if Ty gets fired ?
Colin (1:15 PM)
I'd pick Boise St.'s Chris Petersen.
Woody (Ft. Bragg, NC)
Colin do you think that the Chargers are finished?
Colin (1:16 PM)
No, but clearly Norv Turner is doing to the Chargers what he's done to other teams. They are inconsistent.
Aaron (VA)
Will florida state be good again?
Colin (1:16 PM)
They need a fresh, new young coach.
Ari (St. Catherines)
How much you benching these days?
Colin (1:17 PM)
I just benched a rice krispie treat.
Mike (Denver)
do the St. Louis Rams have a chance in the NFC West?
Colin (1:17 PM)
You've won two games, settle down.
Tom (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Does Phillip Fulmer save his job if they beat Bama?
Colin (1:17 PM)
Possibly. That rivalry is heated enough that may be true.
Jack (Corvallis, Oregon)
Mike Riley or Mike Belloiti, who is the better coach in Oregon
Colin (1:18 PM)
Mike Riley. Teams get better over the course of a season.
Matt (CA)
Do you like Coldplay?
Colin (1:18 PM)
NO.
Mike (Dallas)
Does Dallas finish last in the East this Year
Colin (1:19 PM)
No, but they've got about two or three weeks to turn it around, or they are done. Their schedule is brutal.
Phillip (Chapel Hill, NC)
Any chance a program in the Carolina can get to the elite in football, or will we always have to rely on basketball?
Colin (1:20 PM)
North Carolina has got great athletes. Give Butch Davis a few more recruiting classes and they'll be a top 15 program.
Austin (Fort Wayne, IN)
Colin, what is worse 1.NBA preseason 2.Hockey or 3.Chicken tenders at Applebee's
Colin (1:20 PM)
It's a dead tie.
Matt (El Dorado Hills, CA)
herd, you see the Pats making the playoffs?
Colin (1:20 PM)
Yes...barely.
Bill (NJ)
If the NFL season ended today, who is your pick for MVP?
Colin (1:21 PM)
I think you've got to consider MAtt Ryan in Atlanta. That team has turned around a TON.
Mitch (Portland)
Where should I eat? Jakes, Ringside, or Citygrill?
Colin (1:21 PM)
Jake's...it's very "Portland"
Chris (Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada)
Is Trent Edwards the real deal?
Colin (1:22 PM)
What's not to like? Smart, accurate, reasonable mobile QB. Plus he came back from a concussion and still picked up the win.
Jimmy (Texas)
Do you think Texas will go undefeated?
Colin (1:22 PM)
No, but I think they'll end up playing for the national championship.
Reggie (Omaha)
Should the NFL be playing games in London?
Colin (1:23 PM)
I'm not a big fan of it. Why? You're never going to have a team there. What's the point?
mr (burbank)
TEXAS VS USC NEUTRAL SITE WHO WINS??
Colin (1:24 PM)
Texas offense vs. USC defense. Just a great matchup.
Joe (Huntsville,AL)
Space Cowboy or Gangster of Love?
Colin (1:24 PM)
Any other choices?
Bryan (Sewell, NJ)
MandMs or Snickers?
Colin (1:25 PM)
Peanut MandM's.
Jeff (University Park, Pa)
I know you have come to PSU and done a show before, are you going to come back sometime?
Colin (1:25 PM)
Maybe for PSU/Michigan State.
Erik (Syracuse)
grey goose or kettle one?
Colin (1:26 PM)
Virtual tie. THe price of vodka is overrated. Vodka has become micro beers of the 90's...overpriced.
Joe (Harrisburg, PA)
who would you rather work under? Al Davis or Jerra
Colin (1:27 PM)
Jerry would pay me more and at least the Cowboys are relevant.
Joe (Huntsville,AL)
Who do you like in Morgantown Thursday?
Colin (1:27 PM)
I'll take the home team.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)

Colin (1:27 PM)
No.
Dan (Pullman, WA)
