Insider Fantasy Top Performers chat!

We're calling them "Insider Fantasy Top Performers" and here's how it will work: After watching Sunday's games, as well as the Monday Night game, we'll ask some of the day's biggest stars to join us. These chats will be open to all ESPN.com users, but only Insiders are eligible to get their questions answered.
On Monday, Minnesota Vikings QB Gus Frerotte will stop by to chat about his team's 28-21 win over the Houston Texans. Frerotte threw for 181 yards and three of his 11 pass completions went for TDs. The win moved the Vikings to 4-4 and into second place in the NFC North.

Gus Frerotte (3:35 PM)
Thanks for having me on everyone, glad to be here!
Mitchell (Fargo)
Who is the toughest D that you have faced this year?
Gus Frerotte (3:36 PM)
Most definitely Tennessee's defense. We've played a lot of good ones, but going to Tennessee and playing the Titans has been the toughest for us. They did some things we didn't expect, but if we played them again, I think it would be a different story.
Michael (Lincoln, NE)
Gus, I love watching you and Bernard Berrian play each week. It seems like you bring out the best in each other. Do you work in practice more with him than the other guys?
Gus Frerotte (3:37 PM)
We all work the same amount. Bernard has made some plays by himself, for sure--he made a great catch for me last game. When somebody is hot, you're going to try to get him the ball more often.
Pete C Newark DE
Gus, coming from Pennsylvania, are you a Phillies fan, and do you know any of the guys on the team?
Gus Frerotte (3:38 PM)
Unfortunately, I'm from the western side of the state, so I'm a Pirates fan. It hasn't been good for the past 15 years or so, but I'm hoping they get back to their 1970s form.
Dave (NYC)
So, can we expect you to continue to look for Visante in the red zone through the rest of the season? Or do you think Sidney takes away from some of those looks? Thanks for the 20 fantasy points yesterday. Great one week fill-in!
Gus Frerotte (3:39 PM)
You're welcome! We're going to definitely continue to look for Visante in the red zone. Sidney Rice has also been a big threat for us. Obviously, we're going to try to get the ball to the guys who are working the hardest. Hopefully we can continue that throughout the year.
Brian Sandusky, Ohio
every since that Monday Night game in New Orleans, it seem like The Vikings have really come on to be contenders. What do you think about your matchup with Green Bay this weekend? More running against a weaker run defense?
Gus Frerotte (3:40 PM)
We always try to use our running game, especially when you have a guy like Adrian Peterson, plus with how well our offensive line is playing. You're able to utilize play-actions and get one-on-one coverage down the field, which is all you can ask in this league.
Ken (Williamsburg)
Hey Gus, as a well traveled player, what is your favorite NFL city?
Gus Frerotte (3:41 PM)
My family has moved around everywhere with me, and we don't have a true favorite, but I've loved Minneapolis, Washington D.C., and Denver. We really enjoyed Denver--there's a lot to do out there.
Brian Sandusky, Ohio
Did you grow up in PA as a steelers or Eagles fan? If not, who was your team?
Gus Frerotte (3:42 PM)
Definitely a Steelers fan. They won four Super Bowls in the 70s, and my number is in honor of Terry Bradshaw. I enjoyed watching those guys every Sunday. We'd go out and play backyard football, then watch the game at 1:00 on a Sunday.
Jeff (Tulsa)
What do you think of TU This year?
Gus Frerotte (3:44 PM)
I love TU this year. Coach Graham has them playing at a high level. I thought they would pull one out against Arkansas. I've watched them a lot this year. Garrett Mills and I watch and read a lot about Tulsa, and it's been a pleasure to watch them perform.
Josh (St. Paul)
What do you think of the Metrodome as a football stadium?
Gus Frerotte (3:45 PM)
I love playing in the Metrodome. Our fans are wonderful, and that place can get rocking when we have a lead.
SprungOnSports (Long Island)
With the way you guys are clicking on offense and your defense creating turnovers, how do you think the Vikings will fare in the NFC North going forward?
Gus Frerotte (3:46 PM)
We just have to take it one game at a time. We're looking at the Packers this week as a great opponent. If we can do the same thing we've done in the past--not turn over the ball and create turnovers on defense, we have a chance to do real well in the North.
Gus Frerotte (3:46 PM)
Thanks for having me on, I really had a good time. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year, and Go Vikes!
