Buzzmaster (10:02 AM)
Hey everyone, Shaun is here a bit early!
Shaun White (10:05 AM)
Hello!
Shaun White (10:05 AM)
Who wants to party?
Ken (Trenton, NJ)
Have you been able to play your new video game yet?
Shaun White (10:06 AM)
Yeah, we've been working on it for two years. I had to play all the terrible versions before we got dialed in.
Charlie (Milwaukee)
how did the chance to make a video game come up?
Shaun White (10:07 AM)
I had been in other games before, and it was never really quite what I had expected it to be when the games came out. Instead of just being a character, I waited to do my own game. It wa smore fulfilling to have input.
Mermel NYC
How did you feel after winning your first gold in torino, italy?
Shaun White (10:08 AM)
It was just awful. No, it was cool. I twas one of those wild moments where I had imagined what it was like, but it definitely surpassed that when I had won. Now I get to hang out with Fifty Cent, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Andy Dick.
Paul (Connecticut)
What's your favorite event?
Shaun White (10:09 AM)
You're a straight shooter, Paul. My favorite event would have to be the half-pipe. It's really fun. I've been riding it since I was about six years old.
Troy (Pittsburgh)
Shaun, what is your favorite non-extreme sport?
Shaun White (10:10 AM)
I've played a ton of soccer when I was younger. I was no Pele, but I was pretty good.
Steiny (NYC)
Shaun, what was it liked getting punk'd by Ashton Kutcher? was there any point in which you "thought this cannot be real"?
Shaun White (10:11 AM)
There were some points, but they do everything so fast that there's no real chance for you to contemplate what's going on. What sold it to me was when there was a massive explosion. I fel the heat from the fireball, so that was pretty real.
Jack (NB Canada)
How many medals are you going to win in Vancouver?
Shaun White (10:12 AM)
I only do one event, I'm not like an ice skater. Apolo and Phelps had like eight events. I get one shot at it.
Paul (Lorain, OH)
Do you play Xbox 360 or Playstation 3? Both?
Shaun White (10:13 AM)
How dare you, Paul! I actually play both.
dave (nj)
shaun what record do you hold?
Shaun White (10:15 AM)
Definitely World's Strongest, most Handsome Man for sure.
Ralph (New Jersey)
What do you do in your down time?
Shaun White (10:16 AM)
I love to watch movies, and I play a little guitar.
Keith (MD)
Pop tarts or strudel?
Shaun White (10:16 AM)
I'm a Pop Tart man. But I don't get fancy. I keep it strawberry.
Brian (Madison, WI)
Besides somehow finding balance and coordination what advice would give to beginner snowboarders to help them out?
Shaun White (10:18 AM)
I would just say to ride with people who are better than you. That always helps out.
Shaun White (10:18 AM)
Thank you for the best ten minutes of my life. Love, Shaun.
