Gandhi (4:01 PM)
Hey everyone, support me in Las Vegas!
Brian (Boston, Massachusettes)
After all of the team changes that took place in the 08' season are you happy with how everything turned out? Also to Gandhi, do you feel like you have a better team bond with Legendz or did you have a better one with Carbon?
Gandhi (4:02 PM)
After all the changes in '08, I'm satisfied with how everything went. Getting dropped from Carbon made me realize I had to play more, and I think I have a good connection with Legendz. Carbon in general, I had a better connection because we played together for two seasons, so pretty much, it was comfort.
Dynamik (Irvine, CA)
Who do you think is the best team on the circuit? You can't choose yourself even if that is your opinion.
Gandhi (4:03 PM)
I think Instinct is the best on the circuit. All their strats are advanced, and they all could care less about getting kills. It's about winning, and that gives them an edge.
Ender (MD)
What changes would you guys like to see applied to the v6 settings for next season?
Gandhi (4:04 PM)
I would like to see maybe the bullet damage go down to 100 percent, to see if it would make a damage, and try to see if equipment like the grav lift or energy depleter would work with competitive players.
Nathaniel (Union Kentucky)
What advice do you have for people aspiring to make it to MLG?
Gandhi (4:05 PM)
To become a top player, you have to put in a lot of time and go to every event you can. Just because you play well online, it's not the same. There are countless people who play well online and play differently under tournament pressure. Go to as many events as you can and get your name out there.
Joe cleveland ohio
Gandhi hows it feel to still be in contention for another national championship Go Legendz!
Gandhi (4:07 PM)
It feels good. I felt scared to not get the eighth spot, but having a chance to compete for the national championship is an awesome feeling.
(San Diego, CA)
Whats the most important aspect of a team, and what is the key to success?
Gandhi (4:08 PM)
The key to a good team is that it starts with skill. You find people who are individually skilled enough, then you go to people whom you can work with well enough. The key is chemistry. If you don't have chemistry, you won't do well. Think about who you will team with, and you'll get better results.
Nick (Eastchester, NY)
How are you guys preparing for the championships at Las Vegas? Are you doing anything different than waht you usually do to prepare for other MLG events?
Gandhi (4:09 PM)
We just finished lanning against Final Boss. Normally we lLAN against Instinct, but we decided to change that. Wer'e just hoping to play well as a team in Vegas.
Peterborough, Canada
A lot of the MLG community doubts that you will be able to beat str8 rippin, does this affect your attitude going into the series?
Gandhi (4:10 PM)
It does, just because you want to prove everyone wrong. I can understand why they would say that because Str8 is arguably the best team on the circuit. I'm just going in with confidence and focusing on round one.
Anthony (Jessup, Maryland)
What has Gandhi done different since Toronto to get his game back to playing as good as he did in Halo 2?
Gandhi (4:12 PM)
I honestly just started playing a lot more. I went from playing 1-2 hours a day with Friday and Saturday off, to three to four hours a day with only one day off. It increased my gameplay drastically.
Ph4m: College Park, MD
This question goes out to my boy gandhi... what position do you think you play in a your new team? slayer, support, leader?
Gandhi (4:13 PM)
I'd say I play mostly the leader role on my team. Slayer varies through each gametype. Most of the time, I try to keep my teammates' heads high. I'm not much of a Slayer anymore.
Larry Paolone Philadelphia Pennsylvania
How do you guys plan on dealing with Str8 in the first round?
Gandhi (4:14 PM)
Keep the game at our pace, and don't let them get into a groove. Once they do that, they are almost impossible to beat.
Alan Prince Frederick
Ghandi, How do you feel legend fits in on your team compared to naded?
Gandhi (4:15 PM)
I like him on my team a lot. He brings a different playing style to the field, plays for the win, and whatever needs to be done, he gets done. He helps out a lot, and it helps everyone else to get into a groove.
Riverside, California
As captain of your team, what pressure is added and how do you overcome it?
Gandhi (4:17 PM)
Being Captain doesn't change it much. It's nice to have it on paper, but it's really the leader role in games. In my situation, I just have another part of my gameplan. I'll try my best to cheer my teammates up and keep them on the same page.
Gandhi (4:17 PM)
Thanks for everyone who voted me into the All-Star game, and support me at MLG Vegas!
Buzzmaster (4:20 PM)
Legend is up next!
Buzzmaster (4:29 PM)
Legend is here!
Alex (Grand Rapids, MI)
How often do you practice anc for how long?
Legend (4:30 PM)
I pratice probably for about 6-8 hours, about 4-5 times a week.
Kieryan C. (SH Shaolin)
Legend, how does it feel to switch teams towards the end of the 08 season, you was with Classic before, what is the difference between Legendz & Classic? Which do you feel is a better team?
Legend (4:32 PM)
I do not really feel as if either team is better than the other. I do think this team is different because we were together more, and there is less conflict between teammates on Legendz. I feel like being here now has given me a sense of redeption after being removed from Classic.
San Antonio, Texas
How Are You and your team getting ready for vegas
Legend (4:34 PM)
Well today I just flew home from Ohio where I met up with Final Boss; this will be three times this year that we practiced against them. That preped us, for the next two weeks to come. Legendz will be ready for Vegas!
Chris, Ontario
Has your playing style changed since you have joined Legendz? If so, how?
Legend (4:35 PM)
Yeah my playing style has changed. I am more aggressive. I feel less resctircted. I feel like I can use the sniper rifle without feeling any pressure from my teammates.
Alex (Grand Rapids, MI)
How quickly do you think MLG and the video game competitive industry will grow?
Legend (4:37 PM)
I feel like it has gotten pretty big in the last four years, when it all began. I do not see it having any limitations. I do not think there is a stopping point for its growth.
TJ(EO,new jersey)
What do you think your team has to do to p,ace 1st in vegas
Legend (4:38 PM)
To take first in Vegas, I think every single player must play at their best, and deliver the best performance they can give.
Brian: (Syracuse)
What is your reaction to the results of the poll for your first round match-up with STR8? Does a result like that push you guys to try harder?
Legend (4:41 PM)
Not really. I think those things do not effect us.l We have the same mindset before and after the polls. We are still going into the tournament with great cofidence and hope that we can pull off an upset. I thought you guys had more faith in us :)
chrys(miami, fl)
hey legend how often does ur team play together online
Legend (4:42 PM)
Not very often at all. Since Dallas we have not practiced once online, together as team. The reason being, we all feel like playing online as a team does not do much for us as a team except maybe keeping our accuracy higher as far as shooting.
Mike: (NY)
What would it be like to face Claasic?
Legend (4:44 PM)
I think it would be not really much of a grudge match. But it would be interesting to see how we match up against them. I played with them for a long time, so I think it would be an interesting match, and I would anticipate that happening if we both lose early on in the tournament.
Legend (4:46 PM)
Thanks for submitting all your questions. I always appreciate the support and kind words of the fans.
