Nexus (4:01 PM)
Hey what's up everyone!
Ray, Statens Island, NY
NtG Dan, why are you always wearing a hat!?!
Nexus (4:03 PM)
That's funny. I always do it. I play baseball, so I got used to always wearing a hat. It is a bit of a superstition. At my first event I was a little nervous so I brought my hat with me and we did well, so I kept wearing it and we kept placing better and better, so now it's a goodluck charm.

Nexus- How does it feel to go from teaming with Fearitself's local to being on a top6 team? What did you have to do to get so much better/recognized?
Nexus (4:05 PM)
In Halo 2 I just played for fun. But when Halo 3 came out I wanted to give it a real shot and do well. So I called up str8pimp and asked him if he wanted to start a team and that got me my start. We started practicing against good teams and it took off from there. When I got dropped I got some good options, including teaming with CloudyCloud and it has taken off from there.

Nexus What is it like being such a great flag carrier and how did u become that good and is it hard to play other pros
Nexus (4:08 PM)
Well basically, I team with three of the best players in the game, I think. It is only right that I did the dirty work. They are amazing at slaying, so I practiced a lot and tried to learn from watching the objective side of the game. And no it is not hard playing with other pros as long as you have good players on your team and you are used to playing with them.
Steve Kelowna, British Columbia
How do you think you guys will do against Final Boss
Nexus (4:10 PM)
I played against them twice, once with Walshy and Neighbour and you can tell there is a big difference in their teamwork and their capabilities. I am confident going in and we have beaten them before, and we took them to Game 5 in Toronto. We know what to expect; we are confident; and we are going to give it our best shot.
Ben Merritt (San Luis Obispo)
Just wondering, who are you guys planning on upsetting this tournament? Cause i can't wait for it to happen.
Nexus (4:10 PM)
Everyone.
Rob: Colonia, New Jersey
Nexus, just wondering what you've done to prepare for vegas and what are your thoughts on your teams outcome in the polls if you've gotten a chance to see them.
Nexus (4:12 PM)
To prepare I've basically played a lot more on my own to see what I need to work on, watched a little VRD, and played as much as I can with my teammates. I have seen the polls for a second, and I don;t mind being the underdog, because I like surprising people when people think the other team is better.
Derek Stephenson Stafford, VA
Nexus, Where did you get your name from?
Nexus (4:14 PM)
I got my name from back in Halo 2. I used to have a different name, but one of my friends was playing Star Wars and told me he found a cool name. At the time I did not know that it was also a shampoo product. It actually came from StarWars, but sometimes, as a joke, I tell me people it came to me while I was washing my hair.
Nexus (4:15 PM)
Watch out for us in Vegas. I also want to give a shout out to my teammates, our coach Eric, our No. 1 fan Meg, Clutch, as well as Emily and Haley!
Buzzmaster (4:17 PM)
Thanks Nexus, and goodluck in Vegas! Heinz is up next!
Caleb(PA, washington)
So Heinz, will your team be ready for FB? and... who do you think has the best shot at winning vegas(dont say ambush)
Heinz (4:20 PM)
I think we will be ready for FB because we have been working a lot and we have developed some great teamwork. And I think Str8 is going to win in Vegas.
Saam Barati(Los Angeles, CA)
How do you prepare yourself mentally for the big matches, and how do you manage to always pull off upsets. It seems as if Ambush is always above other teams in their mental endurance.
Heinz (4:21 PM)
We have no pressure as the underdog. We can get all the glory if we win. We just need to stay clam, and that is what we do. We take it one game at a time.
Matt Cericola (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
This question is for Nexus and Heinz: What do you think is the most rewarding part about being a pro gamer?
Heinz (4:23 PM)
I would say the recognition and respect. It is a lot harder to get respect in Halo3. And being able to play against the top team and learn from them is also very helpful.
stan kodish tampa florida
question for heinz every tournment your improving, you ready to take it all? How is your confidence level growing each tournment?
Heinz (4:24 PM)
After each tournament we have kept our roster the same, so our chemistry has improved a lot. I think we can pull off a great finish at Vegas, and everyone is very excited for it.
Justin Ar-Rasheed, Detroit, MI
Heinz Almighty, is it true that you haven't lost a single 1v1 match dating back to Halo 2? Are you indeed the most underrated player on the MLG pro circuit?
Heinz (4:26 PM)
Well I never really played 1v1 in Halo2, and I have not played much in Halo3, but I would welcome the chance to play other pros. I would not consider myself the most underrated player, I would give that to Nexus. I think he is very underrated.
Kyle: Allentown, PA
You guys play way less than the other teams yet you place very very well, why dont you try and practice hard and win?
Heinz (4:27 PM)
Well we do try to practice more, but everytime something comes up. We are used to not LANing, so it does not mess up our team.
booo2 (Los Angeles CA)
How did you break into playing with the Pro's... who brought you in? How did you make a name for your self?
Heinz (4:28 PM)
I made a name for myself as a free pro. After I left my team after the Meadowlands that is where I got my big break.
Tyson (Chicago)
I have this feeling that you guys are going to upset Final Boss and TD. Am I right?
Heinz (4:29 PM)
You can say that. We have a lot of confidence. TD we have never really beaten, so we would need to step up our game and not let the trash talking get into our heads like Dallas.
Heinz (4:30 PM)
I want to give a shout out to out to our team, our No. 1 Meg, and of course my dad.
