Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:01 AM)
Good morning everyone! Hope everyone's pumped up for Thanksgiving, especially that oh-so-exciting 10-1 Titans versus 0-11 Lions game ... hey, they can't all be intense battles, right? Anyway, let's get right to your fantasy football questions on this fine Wednesday morn...
Lee Evans (Buffalo,NY)
Should I be worried that Lance Moore takes my spot in the line-up this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:02 AM)
That'd be pretty much impossible with the NFL trade deadline passed, but I assume you mean for fantasy, and, um, no. I'm huge on Evans for this and each of the next I-think-it's-three weeks.
Steiny (NYC)
Warner or Romo?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:03 AM)
Tony Romo is the quarterback play of the week. Period. Short week and an east-coast trip for Kurt Warner, and that's not trashing the guy, it's just saying that the ceiling is a little bit lower statistically.
Mike (Indy)
24 was great as always....I can't wait for January!! And Tony is coming back!? What's up with that?? You thoughts? In the rankings you guys have McNabb at #10. I have him Ryan and Orten. We get .5 points per completion. Would you start McNabb over either of those 2 especially with the Drama in Philly? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:05 AM)
I liked the "24" special, too, though I could see where maybe the first hour bored some, kind of like Mexico in Season 3. ("24" fans know what I'm talking about.) As for Tony's return, the writers have a ton of work to do to explain that. Love the Jack line, "...and this time you'll stay dead," though. And that was already previewed a year ago; not new to me really. I can't wait! Anyway, football, that's the key here, right? I'd go Matt Ryan. Very poised, confident quarterback and a quality matchup. Both those traits he has over Donovan McNabb, I'd say.
Ten (NY)
Even if Jacobs plays would you consider starting Ward over him?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:05 AM)
No, not if Brandon Jacobs plays and starts, and I think he probably will. Seemed like a precautionary thing to me in Week 12. But for the record, Ward has flex-play appeal, for sure. If you're thin at the position, of course.
idp guy
i need a sleeper linebacker. any suggestions? hawk and phillips aren't pulling thier weight.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:08 AM)
Tough one there, because I usually ride the hot streaks and shuffle guys in and out in my IDP league. It can be fluky, that position. Two guys on my waiver wire I'd think about: Thomas Howard, London Fletcher.
Rob (Wilmington DE)
Who would you start this weeek at QB Tyler Thigpen or Matt Ryan?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:08 AM)
Ryan. Don't like the Thigpen matchup; the Raiders take away half the field and he was a bit too mistake-prone for my tastes in Week 12.
joe (detroit)
Need some help on picking a D out of some poor choices: Arz, Car, Buf, Oak, KC? Who give me the best upside and who do you think is the safest?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:10 AM)
Hmmm. Well, the Panthers stand out to me as the most talented defense of that bunch, but I don't like the road matchup at Green Bay. Packers are out for revenge from this past week. So let's see, I'd say Buffalo for both. San Fran commits turnovers, it's a home game, west-coast-travels-east.
mike MLPS MN
I am in playoffs; just looking for a backup RB that maybe playable down the stretch; Leon Washington or Darren Mcfadden?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:11 AM)
McFadden, and I'm sorry, but I was just wrong on him. It's remarkable that his turf toes -- you read that, plural -- healed this quickly. Couldn't have seen that coming.
Roger (Toronto, Canada)
The Notorious THC!! Why do you guys have Megatron ranked so high? I figured he'd have a tough week against the Titans? Would you start him over Lance Moore, coming of a few huge weeks or Coles who seems a little inconsistent??
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:12 AM)
Sure, the matchup on paper looks tough, but a couple things here: One, who the heck else is going to do the damage for Detroit? Seriously, everyone else on the team looks awful by comparison, so Johnson will get his work, trust me. Two, the Titans have been banged up in the secondary, and that does stack in Johnson's favor. Megatron for me.
Brad (NYC)
Turner/LT/Chris Johnson....please pick 2 the rest of the way or does it depend on matchups? For the fantasy playoffs is mark bradley a better play then Housh based on matchups?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:13 AM)
Matchups plays, those backs, but I bet Chris Johnson will sit the most often. As for the receivers, again, matchups, but I do bet T.J. Houshmandzadeh gets the call at least as often. Bradley, this week, is a sit for me. Nnamdi factor.
TURKEY MAN!!
I Need a solid Def for this wk. I have PHI and INDY or should i go grab OAK off the wire? PLEASE ANSWER!!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:15 AM)
No, Thanksgiving isn't where the "Turk" nickname Eric Karabell mentioned on the podcast came from; though it was certainly turkey related. (Think: Mmmm, turkey.) All of those defenses are turkeys to me, and yeah, sorry for the pun. If you gotta choose, go Indy. But that's a lack of respect for Derek Anderson more than anything, and it also assumes Bob Sanders plays.
Matt (DC)
With Camarillo out does that increase Ginn's value?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:16 AM)
Sure, but as you'll read in my Gridiron Challenge, I think the Dolphins put more of an emphasis on the run to make up for the loss. Davone Bess shifts into the starting lineup but I doubt his fantasy appeal changes because he's needed on special teams. They can't beat that guy to death ya know.
Randy (CT)
Hey Tristan!!! HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!! Kinda glad they'll be comin back to the states for the 24 season but I agree, mediocre reviews aside, I njoyed the teaser... So, help me out here (you're always so good to me) Have to choose between Lynch and Gore. The weaker run D is Buffalo, so Gore, right? Or, 'home'boy Beast Mode? Thx in advance for the help.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:18 AM)
Happy Turkey Day to you too, Randy! And remember, I do look at the show with rose-colored glasses, I admit. Few things irk me: Think cougar, and Jack's family. And pretty much everything Kim. I have to ask you, though, how on earth do you have so much running back depth that you'd sit either of those guys? They're both top-fives for me. I don't think of it in terms of matchups, I think of breaking the virtual tie like this: Home game for Lynch, against a west-coast-goes-east team. But I'd surely have them both active if I could.
I WORK WITH AN IDIOT (DALLAS)
Tell me your thoughts on Berrian and how bad he is compared to TO please!!! This guy I work with thinks there is a comparison lol
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:19 AM)
Uhhhh. Yeah, momma always said, that thing about saying nice things or however it goes. OK, I have a nice thing to say about Bernard Berrian: Love the matchup this week! Beat up on his old squad in their last meeting, and that's an overrated secondary besides.
Joe (Mahwah, NJ)
I can't believe Giants benched Tynes last week. This guy is money and I'm counting on him this week to push my team into the playoffs.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:21 AM)
I couldn't believe it either, Joe, but looks like it'll be the two kickers alternating at the matchups/weather dictates. And I don't get how a guy who had only six fantasy points in his only game as the Giants' kicker is going to win you any titles! Carney, I say!
Matt (DC)
Slaton Hightower R. Williams..which 1 of the three gets the start?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:22 AM)
Steve Slaton, but then the Texans really have no choice now but to give him a huge chunk of the rushing workload. Oh, and the matchup is favorable enough.
Am I a fool?
Can't believe I'm saying this....I'm gonna play Fargas over Westy this weekend.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:22 AM)
I can. Especially if Brian Westbrook sits out. Short week, and a game-time call, I could see the guy sitting or being rather limited. And Fargas' matchup is a favorable one. Only thing working against the Raider: Darren McFadden lurking to swipe goal-line touches.
Rebecca (St Louis)
Back to Mike (Indy) question. I have those exact QBs but I need to start 2....we know you would start Ryan 1st, but would you start McNabb over Orton? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:23 AM)
Yes, Donovan McNabb next. Not that I think he's a great play, but two-quarterback leagues call for creative decisions. And I look at it this way: Arizona's defense might suffer most from the short week and time differential, and that's a good matchup when the D is at its best besides.
King (TX)
Canned or homemade cranberry? Pick 2 safest - Hilis, DBowe, DWard, SJax, Megatron, Mewelde?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:25 AM)
Homemade all the way. But then I readily admit the wife makes some excellent homemade cranberry but it's a bit too sweet for me to eat much of it. So rich, that stuff, but fantastic. Anyway, two safest, hmmm. I have to go Megatron. The second guy is much tougher. You said "safest," and going by that, I would actually go Dwayne Bowe. I know I knocked the matchup before, but that guy is going to get his targets as the Chiefs shuffle the matchups up to dodge Nnamdi.
Eric (Fort Collins CO)
Who do you like better as a FA pickup? Bess or Hixon.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:26 AM)
Domenick Hixon. A little more explosive potential on special teams, in a more potent offense, and a little more likely to see a significant role in his team's passing game when Plaxico Burress is shelved.
Sam (ATL)
I'm a vegitarian...sorry guys : ( ...anyway, which two would you start: Colston, E. Royal, or Ted Ginn?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:27 AM)
No shame in that, Sam! Plenty of non-turkey dishes that are fantastic. Marques Colston cannot sit for me. He's too important to the game plan, especially with the team's running backs so uncertain from week to week. For the second, I'd play Ginn in a road game facing a soft St. Louis secondary. Both good matchups, but I'll take that sleeper shot.
Randy (CT)
you wouldnt sit Chris Johnson and play both Lynch and Gore would ya?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:29 AM)
You know, I actually would, if only because of the LenDale White goal-line factor -- can't rule him out of that mix quite yet -- and that opposing defenses do stack the box against that team. There's just a tad more risk there.
Xander (Philly)
So they're saying Bush is going to play this week. Good start?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:29 AM)
Not a chance! Bush, in five career games against the Bucs: 82.6 scrimmage yards per game, one total TD.
Danny(OR)
About Colston, they guy has done nothing fantasywise, why is he still a must start? Also, Pick 1 - Orton or Thigpen? Pick 2 - Brown, Addai, C.Johnson?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:30 AM)
In that circumstance. Every question can be different, Danny. In that particular asker's circumstances. For you, it's Tyler Thigpen, I don't hate him that much. And I'd sit Joseph Addai of the backs. Not that I don't like him, I just think the other two are stronger matchup plays.
PICK 2?
stuffing, mashed, rye bread, turkey! AND... bush, westbrook, fargas, dunn?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:32 AM)
Yes please on all four foods. That sounds like a fantastic Friday sandwich, too. Add the gravy and it's paradise. Health I think makes your decisions here. Can't take risks with so many Thursday games. I have to say the latter two, Justin Fargas, Warrick Dunn. Strong enough matchups, and they're starters.
Bill (Philly)
If you're sitting Bush would you think about starting Pierre over BWest, McGahee or Parker?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:33 AM)
I'm sitting anyone in the New Orleans backfield, period. Though to be fair, Brian Westbrook and Willie Parker have health concerns. Health is going to make your decision, that's just a fact, Bill. Sometimes choices come down to that this late in a season.
Guy playing Randy from CT
No, no, no! Please sit Lynch and play Chris Johnson!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:33 AM)
Heads up, Randy.
RICH (ny)
Pivotal playoff implications Tristan. Help me Pick two RB?s for this week out of MJD, Dunn, Jacobs and Reggie Bush?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:34 AM)
Well, I think you have to go Brandon Jacobs if he's cleared to play. Way too much fantasy potential, barring late news he'll be limited. And Maurice Jones-Drew, against the Texans, has to play for me.
Jake (VA Beach)
Ok, 24 was 'meh' so cheer me up!! Trade deadline in 20: keeper league 1/2 PPR. Trade Grant for Westbrook and Royal?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:35 AM)
My primary complaint, if I had one: I totally could have seen that predicament coming at the gate by about 20 minutes in. Way too obvious. Not like the writers, really, to be so predictable. And yes, I think that's a fair enough trade. A winter's rest will help Brian Westbrook, and he's simply a stronger keeper than Ryan Grant long-term on his own.
Natalie (Texas)
QB choice -- Ryan vs. SD or Warner vs. PHI? I lose 3 pts for turnovers.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:36 AM)
Kurt Warner. Can't sit him.
Dan (New York)
If SJAX plays this week, is he worth a start over Hillis or D Ward?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:36 AM)
Yes, over either one, and Peyton Hillis is the one I like less, it's a horrendous matchup.
Steiny (NYC)
Do you think Jason Whitten is a good play this week against the Detroit Lions?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:37 AM)
Absolutely, if he plays, and I most certainly think that he will.
Alfonso: (Los Angeles, CA)
Need this win to sneek into the playoffs after starting 0-5. Pick one b/w Ocho Cinco, Branch, or Hixon. Pick two b/w Forte, Fargas, Grant. THANKS.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:38 AM)
Yuck, re: the receivers. I guess Chad Johnson. Hey, at least he did well against the Ravens in their last meeting. If Plaxico Burress somehow suffers a setback and sits, OK, Hixon, I'd like him more. But I doubt that happens. Gotta be safe in your spot, get you in the playoffs. And at running back, Matt Forte is an easy call, and I'd go Ryan Grant, too, for that matter.
J. Gage (Tennessee)
You guys are lucky, I have to work on turkey day!! But do you like my outlook versus the Lions? Or would you rather plug in Santana Moss?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:39 AM)
There are worse things than to be a professional athlete making tons of money having to play on a holiday. I do like Gage's matchup. Not to the point of rising him over Moss in the ranks, but I want to make it clear, those of you seeking a No. 3/4/flex type receiver, I'd be OK with using Gage. Like his talent. Good matchup too.
Yoda (Dagobah System)
Answer these questions for me, you shall. Clinch a playoff spot, I will. J. Lewis over Westbrook this week? What about Pennington or Cassel?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:40 AM)
Lewis, must be. Good, matchup is. Like Pennington better, I do. Avoid Steelers, you must Cassel with.
Andy (Kansas City)
Dallas plays Seattle - not Detroit, but I doubt that changes your stance on Witten.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:41 AM)
Ha! You know, I saw Witten and I did think "Seattle, Seattle, Seattle," didn't even read that the question said Detroit. But that does clear things up for people, Andy. Absolutely no change to my recommendation because I've been eyeing the Dallas matchup in the passing game all week. Love it.
Joel ( Roscommon MI)
Tristan, When Brady returns next season will we see that post ACL letdown from him that we saw with McNabb and Culpepper or do his style and surrounding talent allow him to come back a little quicker ?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:42 AM)
Count me among those who are worried, having heard all those minor setbacks he had around midseason. But we're so far off. So much can change, and I bet we'll get a far clearer picture come March or April. I'll be hesitant to declare a big bounce-back season, but I'm allowed to change my mind when camps open next summer!
Tforckcoc H. Natsirt (NPSE)
Looking ahead to playoffs, which D should I nab: Indy (plays Det and Jax) or Mia (plays SF and KC)? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:43 AM)
Does this mean I should offer the opposite answer? Hmmm, how confusing. I'm giving my actual answer: Dolphins. More talented, and love that San Fran matchup in particular.
Follow up to Joel's question
The Pats won't be able to afford Cassel next season, so where does he go? Philly, St.Louis, Detroit perhaps? What about the Texans too?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:45 AM)
Being totally honest with you, I haven't taken a close enough look at the cap situations of any candidate teams. Those three will have openings, for sure, I think. Chicago too, and maybe Minnesota? I could see them hunting. One thing I can be sure of: Matt Cassel will be a starter somewhere come next Opening Day. I'd be very surprised if he didn't. And I'll say he'll be in the matchups range for fantasy wherever he winds up.
Chuck (Hershey, PA)
TD only league, start which RB, Jamal or Leon?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:46 AM)
TD only? You have located perhaps the only case where I can advise the Jet. But that's because I love that matchup for New York.
Justin (Queens, NY)
Hey Tristan, Should I start Cooley or Keller...or start them both and bench either Driver or Berrian? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:47 AM)
I'm going to say sit Chris Cooley, and I might be called nuts for doing so. But Cooley was invisible in each of his past two games against the Giants, and it was because the Redskins needed to keep him close to help block. New York's defensive front is fierce, and I think it's a role concern for Cooley as a result. Just a gut instinct, I admit.
John (NYC)
Is Jacobs a top-10 pick next year?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:48 AM)
Let's assume for a second that Brandon Jacobs remains in New York and Derrick Ward is playing elsewhere. And for the record, that is exactly what I think is going to happen. Then yes, absolutely.
Drew Brees (New Orleans)
Should my fantasy owners play me or Kurt Warner this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:49 AM)
How many times have I advised people in this situation to trade one of these guys? Sigh. I bet you're going to regret it come playoff time, having to make this weekly call and perhaps being too weak at another position. Anyway, off my soap box. Drew Brees for me, but only because of the short-week and west-team-goes-east factors.
matt (grand rapids, MI)
FYI for your readers ... If you own Warner, you better go get Lienert and handcuff today. Jimmie Johnson and Philly blitz will knock Old Man Warner out of game for sure. Book it!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:50 AM)
Heads up, Kurt Warner owners. Not that I agree with you. There's a great stat from the Arizona Republic today, which came from Stats Inc., noting how Warner has been an absolute machine when faced with the blitz. Seriously, huge numbers.
Must win game
Pennington or Matt Ryan?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:51 AM)
Matt Ryan. Higher statistical ceiling.
John
Tristan, baseball Q! Trade Sizemore and Doumit for Wieters? Already loaded at OF with Hamilton, Quentin, Rios, Crawford, Snider and Cruz.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:52 AM)
No way. But I think Grady Sizemore is one of the strongest keepers out there, and there's a great chance Ryan Doumit far outperforms Matt Wieters in 2009 besides.
Jason (Parker, CO)
How do you feel about Ryan Grant this week? Where does he fall in the flex rankings with Chris Johnson, Slaton, MJD, Roddy White and Andre Johnson? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:52 AM)
I think of him as, let's say, a mid-range No. 2 running back. Meaning he's probably behind every single one of those guys.
Josh (Philly)
Do you think that McNabb will be out to prove himself this week? Does that translate into good things for DeSean? Start him over Walter or Bowe?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:54 AM)
I think so, to an extent, but he has looked absolutely horrible the past couple weeks. No confidence. I'd have a hard time going DeSean Jackson over Kevin Walter knowing that Walter did beat up the Jags in their earlier meeting this year.
Buzzer beater!!
One word answer. Winslow or scheffler?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:54 AM)
Kellen Winslow. Ha, two words! Sorry.
EB NYC
Hey Tristan- Thigpen or Garcia this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:55 AM)
I actually, incredibly, prefer Jeff Garcia this week. Bucs will need to throw, and that Saints secondary is nowhere near as talented as the Packers made it look this past Monday.
Your evil twin
Tristan I know you hate me, but please help me just this once! Who do I bench?!! Westbrook, Addai, or Ronnie Brown?!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:56 AM)
"Look, I made a pigeon-rat!" Just popped into my head. Anyway, sit Brian Westbrook. Too much health risk.
Don (Kansas City)
NY Giants defense or Tampa Bay defense this weekend?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:56 AM)
I'd avoid the Bucs defense if I could. And you sure can.
Buzzer Beater!
6-word answer: Who sits: Portis, Turner or Thomas Jones?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:57 AM)
Sit Portis don't like Giants matchup.
Dan (DC)
Portis or LT?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:58 AM)
I still believe in LaDainian Tomlinson!
Carl (TX)
Quick hitters Tristan and kill three birds with one stone - Bowe or Housh? Rodgers or Ryan? Witten or Boss?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:59 AM)
Dwayne Bowe, don't hate him that much, Matt Ryan, actually do love the matchup that much, and Jason Witten, for the reasons said above.
Jon (Bmore Hon)
S. Hill 4tds 300 yds 3 ints this week against BIG D?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:00 PM)
Tough to do that when he's headed to Buffalo this week. And no, I don't like Shaun Hill to come even close to that.
Jack Bauer (CTU)
Should I eliminate Hillis for Fargas gotta replace Parker (2ptPPR)?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:00 PM)
Yes, but anytime you tell Jack Bauer to "eliminate" someone, you have to worry.
Alice
Pick Three, Please: ADP, Addai, Forte, Slaton, Thomas Jones
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:01 PM)
Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte and Thomas Jones pop out to me as clear must-starts.
Charles (Atlanta)
Inconsistant Cutler or great match-up Ryan?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:01 PM)
No knocks on Jay Cutler this week, the Jets do make mistakes in their secondary and I think he's going to be throwing a great deal.
DGA
Kevin Curtis worth a start against a soft secondary? You know the Iggles are gonna be slinging it all over the field tomorrow night with Westbrook questionable and them trying to keep up with that Zona offense...
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:02 PM)
Sure, as a No. 3/4/flex type. I don't think Curtis is a great play, but he'll need to be used in deeper leagues.
Buzzer Beater
Am I crazy benching Forte for Ronnie Brown this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:02 PM)
No, not crazy.
Jim (Brooklawn, NJ)
Another TD only league. Start D. Clark or TJ?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:03 PM)
I'd really start Dallas Clark; Ryan Fitzpatrick has really hurt T.J. Houshmandzadeh in the touchdown department. And Peyton Manning is on quite a roll, and has demonstrated he'll throw to his tight end in the red zone.
quick
Ben or Thiggy?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:04 PM)
Big Ben. The Patriots' defense is overrated, especially in the secondary.
Alon (Brooklyn)
Is Derek Anderson worth a pickup?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:04 PM)
Two-quarterback leagues or if you need to build depth because you're hurting there, sure. But I'm not that optimistic. Last I checked, Cleveland's schedule isn't a good one.
quick shot
Pick 2: Breaston, Ginn, Gonzalez, and Bryant.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:05 PM)
Love the Antonio Bryant matchup, and Ted Ginn's is a favorable one too.
Tough Problem
T.Jones v. Denver, Lynch v. SF and Barber v. Seattle, please pick two...
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:05 PM)
I can't possibly sit Marion Barber this week. And then I can't possibly sit Marshawn Lynch. And then I can't possibly sit Thomas Jones. Pains me to have to say sit Jones.
overtime!
You have touched a bit on these guys, but here is my situation: First round of playoffs, .5 PPR league. FWP, Mewelde, Fargas, DMC. If Parker is out, I play Mewelde. If FWP tries to go, I think I need to go with Fargas or DMC, in case of FWP re injury. Would you do the same? Which of the OAK backs would you play?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:06 PM)
Yes, that'd likely be my angle there. But to be clear, the Oakland matchup is the stronger one. Which would I take? Probably McFadden with a clean week of healthy practices. He's a stronger touchdown bet.
Rod Santa Ana Ca.
Lynch or Deangelo choose 1?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:07 PM)
Jonathan Stewart's presence alone puts DeAngelo on my bench of those two.
Regis (NY)
Keller or Scheffler?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:07 PM)
Dustin Keller, though for the record, I think Tony Scheffler is an interesting sleeper choice for a good number of owners this week.
Lunch is calling (CAFE)
THC; Happy "Turk" Day...MJD, Forte,DMC, or CJ (pick2)...Also, Can you pick a D for me?? ATL, IND, BUF, CAR, or JAX...Thanks man!!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:08 PM)
Has to be Chris Johnson and Matt Forte of those running backs. Too much talent, and CJ's matchup is a favorable one. And I think I tackled the defense question before? It was Buffalo.
Dan (NYC)
Whats plax's status?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:09 PM)
He's going to be on the injury report every week the rest of the year, missing some practices, and called a game-time decision. And then I bet he's going to start every remaining game -- barring a significant setback -- but be only a mild risk to be bumped from the contest early. I know it's frustrating, but I'm optimistic at worst he'll be a high-end No. 2.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:10 PM)
OK folks, with mention of lunch, time for that for me as well! Thank you as always for all your questions, and sorry if I couldn't tackle yours today. Always thousands coming in and so little time. Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and best of luck to you in Week 13! Take care...
