Send in your questions for Colin now and he'll be back after the show to answer them!
Amanda (1:00 PM)
Colin is doing some promos...let's get the questions started.
john (los angeles)
hi...why are you retiring wheel of genius?
Colin (1:04 PM)
Like all things, we have to evolve. And the Wheel of Genius limited me to just college picks. I want to add NFL picks to the group. So we're doing the "sizzling seven" next year.
Riley(Vegas)
Colin, Do you honestly think Penn St stands a chance of beating USC? Convince me that Penn St has a chance of being within 3 TD's of USC Because I just can't see it
Colin (1:05 PM)
I've said before that I'm concerned about Steve Sarkisian leaving for Washington and what that does to USC's offense. In my wheel of genius picks...I took Penn State to cover 10 points.
Will J (Portland, OR)
Colin does Philly cover against Cleveland?
Colin (1:05 PM)
No, that's a lot of points in the NFL. Cleveland still has good athletes.
Lewis (Columbus)
I've just developed a "man crush" for Pete Carroll after seeing him on 60 minutes...He and Myron Rolle are my heroes!
Colin (1:06 PM)
Luckily I joined the band wagon a few years ago.
Will J (Portland, OR)
Colin, was Auburn's choice of Gene Chizik the weirdest choice for head coach you've seen in a long time?
Colin (1:06 PM)
Yes. I would have gone for Turner Gil. Chizik's record was brutal. Plus TUrner Gil is much easier to spell than Chizik.
Kyle (Jersey Shore)
More Dangerous wild card superbowl threat... Colts or Cowboys?
Colin (1:07 PM)
Cowboys for sure. Big, fast, talented with a great pass rush.
Arvid (Manhattan)
How will Lane and Monte do at Tennessee next year?
Colin (1:07 PM)
THey should do well. Tennessee has the ability to get great recruits immediately. Plus MOnte Kiffin can only help the defense.
Mike Chancey (Pittsburg, Kansas)
I would like to know your thoughts on Sam Bradford as an NFL QB, should he decide to leave Oklahoma and enter the draft?
Colin (1:08 PM)
He's big and strong. He'll make a better NFL QB than Tebow or Colt McCoy just because he's bigger and stronger.
Jamison (Wilmington NC)
Panthers or Giants, who do you like in the NFC? (please do not respond with the "Cowboys")
Colin (1:09 PM)
Give me two weeks and I'll tell you.
Steve (Syracuse, NY)
Colin- what do you think about Doug Marrone- think he will turn it around here in Cuse?
Colin (1:09 PM)
Don't like that athletic department at all right now.
Kyle (Jersey Shore)
Will Michael Vick start another game at QB in the NFL?
Colin (1:10 PM)
He'll start another game at QB, but not in the NFL. Unless the Raiders get desperate, which they probably will.
stan (ohio)
michigan or tenn. who wins more games next year?
Colin (1:10 PM)
No idea. Have to look at the schedules.
Lance (Rogers, AR)
Colin, who gets your vote for NFL Rookie of the Year this far and who would you say is the biggest Rookie disappointment?
Colin (1:11 PM)
That's a no brainer...Matt RYan. THe NFL shouldn't hand out a ballot. They're just giving it to Ryan. It's a closed election. Not sure on the rookie disappointment.
Eric (Yakima, WA)
Is this an off year for the Seahawks, or are they now in rebuild mode?
Colin (1:11 PM)
Seahawks need new infusion...coach, GM, everybody.
Sean (TX)
What's your favorite casino in Vegas?
Colin (1:12 PM)
Probably the Venetian. But Mandalay Bay is much more affordable.
Wes (NC)
Do you think Texas/Bama would have been a better matchup than Texas/Ohio State?
Colin (1:12 PM)
No, I don't have a preference. Texas/Ohio State will be very interesting.
Bill (NJ)
Is Hawaii giving 1.5 against Notre Dame the surest bet out there?
Colin (1:13 PM)
Hawaii is a long trip and a tough place to concentrate for Notre Dame. Hard to go there and play well.
loredo (va beach)
big mac or whopper?
Colin (1:13 PM)
Whopper. NOt even close. Love the flame broiled.
Jeff (Grand Rapids)
Should basesball managers wear "street clothes" like other sports. Some real embarrassing bellies out there.
Colin (1:14 PM)
I totally agree. It is embarassing.
Ed (PA)
Catch the steelers/ravens yesterday? Do you think the schedule the Steelers have played helpa or hurts them in the playoffs? Every game has been like a playoff game for them the past few weeks, but I fear they may empty the tank?
Colin (1:15 PM)
If they go in to the playoffs healthy, it's been a big benefit. Any time you face that kind of physical beating, it makes you tougher.
Rob (Detroit)
Mark Teixiera - franchise player or complementary part? Worth 8 yr/$150M+ contract?
Colin (1:16 PM)
I'd pay Mark Teixiera market price any day of the week.
Anthony (Wash DC)
Who wins the NBA east Celtics or Cavs?
Colin (1:16 PM)
Celtics for sure.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Yes or no on Cajun spiced food?
Colin (1:16 PM)
Love it. Just had a cajun-spiced steak. Very good.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
If you were a GM, would you give Manny what he wants?
Colin (1:17 PM)
No. My max would be two years.
loredo (va beach)
colin do you think the spread offense in college football hurts a qb's draft position?
Colin (1:17 PM)
Not as long as he passes more than he runs.
Mike (Pittsburg, KS.)
Oklahoma or Florida?
Colin (1:18 PM)
Florida...check out my picks on espnradio.com in the Wheel of Genius page.
Wes (NC)
Will Vince Young ever start another NFL game?
Colin (1:19 PM)
Yes, and he'll get demoted, and be a backup again.
Bob (VA)
Stafford, Harrell, Bradford, Tebow or McCoy for 1st QB Pick in draft?
Colin (1:19 PM)
I'd probably go Sam Bradford #1, Matt Stafford #2. Don't love the rest of them as NFL QBs.
jennifer (irvine, ca)
in this bad economy, where should i put my cash?
Colin (1:20 PM)
You can send it to me and I'll hold it for you.......
Anthony (Wash DC)
Is Colts vs Cowboys in the Superbowl too far off?
Colin (1:21 PM)
No, wouldn't be shocked if that happened.
Sterling (CLE)
Will LeBron win MVP this year?
Colin (1:21 PM)
Yeah, he looks like he'll win the MVP. He's having a great season.
Baumer (NYC)
Are you a bowler?
Colin (1:22 PM)
THe first trophy I ever won was a bowling trophy. And I've been to several Rose Bowls. Is that what you mean?
Steve (Syracuse, NY)
Titans a one and done in the playoffs?
Colin (1:23 PM)
No. THey play great defense. They'll be in it for the long haul.
Mike (Avondale, AZ)
Is Terry Porter destroying the Suns? Or is it management?
Colin (1:23 PM)
He's got a different philsophy than MIke D'Antoni. He needs different personnel. And JAson Richardson is the first good piece.
Kyle (Jersey Shore)
First to leave the Cowboys, Terrell Owens or Wade Phillips?
Colin (1:24 PM)
Wade Phillips. Jerry likes divas. Wade is too nice for the Cowboys.
Robert (Los Angeles)
your thoughts on MNF
Colin (1:25 PM)
Philly wins. Browns cover.
Amanda (1:31 PM)
He's out. THanks for the questions. Have a great week everybody.
