Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:01 AM)
Good morning everyone! It's Christmas Eve, but also a fantasy football playoff week ... some important questions ahead, so let's get started!
Barry
Merry Christmas Tris you rule!!!!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:02 AM)
Thanks Barry, and Merry Christmas to you too! Happy to be here.
Never get picked
Romo or Thiggy in a yardage and td league?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:03 AM)
OK, well, based on your description, I have a feeling picks aren't penalized? Like in our Gridiron Challenge? I'm taking Tony Romo then. I think he'll be the focal point of the offense, with Marion Barber still iffy, and he wants to make a statement he can win must-win games. Yards and scores should be plenty.
Dennis (Snowy MO)
How about a quick rundown on QBs and RBs that might get at least partial rest this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:04 AM)
It's an incomplete list, Dennis, but I'd prepare for Eli Manning, Brandon Jacobs, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Anquan Boldin, Chris Johnson and LenDale White, among meaningful fantasy players, to take a seat for at least a portion of Week 17. I'm not advising you use any of 'em.
Steiny (NYC)
Cedric Benson had a monster game Sunday. Do you think he is a legit fantasy option next week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:04 AM)
Yes, certainly. Running well and the matchup suits him nicely. He's a top-20 play for sure, a solid No. 2.
Barry
Would you feal safe with turner this week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:05 AM)
Absolutely. If the facts I have presented are accurate -- and I have great faith that they are -- the Falcons can earn themselves a bye with a win and some luck. So yes, I think Michael Turner plays, and plays well.
Blake Compton, CA
merry christmas bro
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:05 AM)
Merry Christmas to you too, Blake!
Steiny (NYC)
Do you think LaDainian Tomlinson is still a must start fantasy player?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:06 AM)
No. And I'm on board with the idea he's a high-risk pick for 2009. He'll be 30, and while I won't call him a Shaun Alexander 30-year-old decline candidate, it's not unthinkable he could be. (I actually think the risk of him getting hurt is greater than him being Alexander-like.)
Never had 1 answered and need it now.
Championship week, have to start 3 of 4. LT, S. Jax, MJD, Westy. Thanks and happy holidays.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:07 AM)
Happy holidays to you too! I would leave Maurice Jones-Drew to the sidelines. He's banged up and the matchup is a brutal one, on the road and against a team that really wants a W.
Brandon (Indianapolis, IN)
Good morning, Tristan. I've got the Titans and Packers defenses. Points against scored as 10pts for a shutout, 0pts otherwise, so not really a factor when chosing a defense. Do you think the Colts will play their backups long enough or should I go with the Packers at home against Detroit? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:09 AM)
See, that's a toughie, because the Titans are down two of their most talented defenders, and might look to rest other defensive regulars, too. So it could second-teamers versus second-teamers. Bleagh. Of course, I also think the Lions might come out fired up, wanting to avoid the doughnut in the win column, and Kevin Smith does match up well there. I'd go Green Bay because there's more to play for -- not like they want to lose -- but that's the best case I can make for you on either team.
Blake Compton, CA
Hey is David Garrard gunna be good this week??
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:09 AM)
Uhhhhh, no. Matchup = bleagh.
Flex Help
Tatum Bell or Lamont Jordan? Thanks
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:10 AM)
There's a greater chance of touches with Tatum Bell, but you know, I just don't like the guy for fantasy. Just ... don't. San Diego's run defense is better than its pass defense besides. Jordan gives you the higher probability of goal-line work, and from your flex spot, that means a lot.
Darren (MN)
I Won my Championship! Need some input for keepers though. Should I keep Brees, LT, Forte, or pick up Brady? (non-ppr, 1 pt per 25 rec/rush yds & 75 pass yds, standard 4/6 pt TD's)
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:11 AM)
Darren, I'd try to unload LaDainian Tomlinson if I could, for the reasons detailed above. I don't know when your deadline is to submit your list, but if this is a speculative pickup, yes, absolutely, pick up Tom Brady. I'm iffy on him right now because we're getting so little word on his health, and it's not like I'd say don't keep Tomlinson right now. But I like to stash as many names as possible for offseason trading as I can. I'd really be shopping LT2.
Blake
How good will TJ be next week?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:12 AM)
Houshmandzadeh or Thomas Jones, you mean? I think Housh will be fine, a good No. 2 receiver. Jones? Well, I can't sit that guy, hot as he has been in the second half. Besides, Jets need a win in a bad way. Matchup isn't great but I see second-tier value.
Luke (Wichita)
You said you don't like Boldin, but would he still be a better option over Cotchery?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:14 AM)
Maybe, Luke, and sorry for the wishy-washy answer there, but that's the right answer. Now, I will add that I don't do "maybes" in my championship week. But I'm risk-averse this time of year. Jerricho Cotchery is the safer play, in a spot that matters to the player a heck of a lot more.
Rick nc
Do I sit Reggie wayne this week and maybe start a northcutt
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:15 AM)
Same kind of answer as the above one, except that Wayne has actually played much of the Week 17s that didn't matter in the Colts' seasons past, and Dennis Northcutt's matchup isn't exactly a great one. I'd stick with the Colt in this case, and take that chance he plays enough (keep tabs on Tony Dungy's comments, of course).
Darren (MN ) FOLLOW UP
Tristan, I meant I can only keep one of Brees, LT, Forte, or Brady....which one?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:16 AM)
Ahhhh. Wow, that's a toughie, and I have a hard time keeping a quarterback. I believe in Matt Forte. He'd be my guy. Fact is, he'll be picked earlier in 2009 drafts. That's the bottom line.
Paz, Buffalo Ny
Quick Hits: P. Thomas or Portis and Bess or Santonio and Sheffler or Cooley Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:16 AM)
Pierre Thomas, Davone Bess and Tony Scheffler -- he routed the Chargers earlier this year -- and Merry Christmas to you too!
Steiny (NYC)
Thanks for everything this year Tristan. Happy Holidays to you and your family and be well.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:17 AM)
Happy holidays to you and yours as well, Steiny! Thanks.
Joe Pittsburgh (cousin of Joe 6 pack)
2 QBs out of Garcia, Thigpen, and Pennington (yds, TDs, minus for INTs). Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:18 AM)
Is Joe the Plumber your cousin, too? Anyway, I'd leave Jeff Garcia to the sidelines here. He's a little banged up, and Oakland can defend the pass nicely at times. Just the most risk with him, with the least upside. Tyler Thigpen is a definite, and Chad Pennington, well, I'm big on this motivational factor, in a must-win game against his former mates.
Will (St. Louis)
What round do you see P. Thomas being drafted next year? Top 3 rounds?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:19 AM)
It's just a feeling that I have but I bet he's treated something like how LenDale White was entering this year. Probably like a third rounder. But that's a ballpark guess, and off the top of my head.
Rob: (Minneapolis)
I have a Survivor League question: I have too many good options; please pick a sure fire winner this week with no spread. ATL, GB, or BALT? Thanks buddy.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:21 AM)
Green Bay has actual risk. Again, do you think the Lions want to go 0-16? I think that's your weakest choice. I'm very much a believer that the Ravens will win their game. Now, the only risk in picking them is that if they clinch a playoff spot with a Patriots loss in the 1 p.m. games, then the game no longer matters to them. But I have New England winning, so I think Baltimore needs this game, and for sure wins it.
Jerry (Philly)
What do you think the Giants will do with their backs this week? With nothing to play for other than to keep fresh, who gets the rock the most?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:22 AM)
Watch it be Ahmad Bradshaw. I think Derrick Ward gets enough work to crack the 1,000-yard plateau, and I think it's about 50 he needs for that, so he'll have some flex-play appeal. So will Bradshaw, because I see Brandon Jacobs scarcely playing this week. Why risk further injury? He has been so banged up lately.
RJ Charlotte By Way of North Pole
Merry Christmas Tristan. Do I dare bench Hines Ward this week and how do you feel about using Driver, Fred Jackson or Melwelde Moore as my flex?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:23 AM)
Merry Christmas, RJ Charlotte! I would sit Ward. He has some personal milestones to reach as well, but I don't see a lot of upside in him, that's the problem. No need to take any chances with him. I'd be OK with Donald Driver and his favorable matchup.
B-DUB [BOS]
Merry X-mas. Do I start Vincent Jackson over Royal this week? Also what's up with SJAX?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:24 AM)
I would! I love the Vincent Jackson matchup. Love it. As for Steven Jackson, he's nicked up, as he has been for weeks, but all indications are that he will start and get starters' touches. I'm not that worried.
Steve - Worcester MA
S.Slaton or A.Peterson to start along with D.Williams?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:25 AM)
Adrian Peterson, because the Giants have nothing to play for this week and having watched all of their recent games, they've been bruised and battered on the defensive line. Some of those guys are going to sit, and believe you me, the second-stringers aren't as talented as the starters.
Mike: Chicago
I play in a playoff fantasy league. I understand not all the teams are set yet, but who do you feel should be the top 3 picks. I like B Jacobs and Manning as the top 2 right now. Thanks.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:27 AM)
Yes, but ... which Manning? For me it's Peyton Manning. Huge pick, no first-week bye, going to play the AFC West winner so there's a near certainty of two games at the bare minimum. I'll also toss DeAngelo Williams out there as a top pick. Jacobs a first rounder. And you know, I very much like Adrian Peterson, too.
Goose (Chicago)
Worth a try: Jason Kubel or Nelson Cruz?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:27 AM)
Hi Goose! We'll be getting to baseball quicker than you think! Glad to hear from you again, and happy holidays to you and yours. I'd go with Kubel. Higher ceiling, less tendency to be streaky.
Joe Pittsburgh (Joe the Plumber is dead to me)
We disowned him after the election. Anyway, 1 more question to help me in the championship? Need to pick my 3rd WR out of Bruce, S. Moss, and Northcutt. Bruce has been steady, but Northcutt's been better the past 2 wks and about all they have in the 'Ville. Secondary seems like the weakest part of the Ravens awesome D. Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:29 AM)
I'd go Isaac Bruce, the matchup is decent enough. I agree with you on the Ravens, the secondary is their weak spot, but I'm just not a believer in Northcutt. The dude's a possession receiver generally, and it takes more than two out-of-nowhere weeks for me to be a believer.
Stu (Syosset, NY)
Ho Ho Ho Tristan! If the Eagles are eliminated from the playoffs by either the Bucs or the Bears winning an early game, do you think they will sit Westbrook?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:30 AM)
I hadn't really considered that prospect, Stu, to be honest. But the gut tells me no, as I think the Eagles wouldn't exactly play dead against their division rival, which with a win would make the playoffs. To them maybe just beating the Cowboys would be good enough in this event. More likely, they'd just be smart with Brian Westbrook, and hook him if he showed any signs of trouble in-game.
Make my Christmas Special PLEASE!!
Colts or Philly's D. Also pick 2 from A. Johnson, R. White, D. Driver. I could also start all 3 and sit one of either S. Jax or LT. PPR League. Thanks and happy holidays.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:32 AM)
I don't like either defense, period. But forced to choose, I suppose I'd go Colts, at least the scheme should be successful, while the Cowboys will almost assuredly come out with ferocity against Philly. Roddy White for certain; huge matchup. And I'd go Andre Johnson. Bears secondary is overrated. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you too!
Jeff (Dayton, Ohio)
Pass the eggnog and is Tom Brady a solid keeper in '09?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:33 AM)
Eggnog's waiting for me after the chat, and as for Brady, as I said above, I'd absolutely stash him. I have a salary-cap based keeper league and can retain up to eight players (you get extra picks in the draft if you keep fewer). Brady would make my cut. One-keeper league? Nah. Three? Maybe so. He's a "depends-what-else-you-have" keeper.
Top 5 Fantasy Picks Next Year
who are your's?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:35 AM)
Well, Adrian Peterson is No. 1 for certain. And I'm feeling like the other four are Michael Turner, Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore and Marion Barber, for me very likely in that order. But I think those four will largely be matter-of-opinion types in terms of who anyone wants most.
Jon (Chicago)
Assuming Barber doesn't play(much). Is Choice a better flex than Bowe or L. Evans in a ppr? Giants D or take a chance with HotLanta?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:36 AM)
I think Tashard Choice is a stronger choice than Lee Evans, if only because I know the Patriots routinely focus extra attention on Evans. His career numbers against them are atrocious. As for the defenses, yes, I'd take a chance on the Falcons. Giants have nothing to play for and defenders to rest up and get healthy. Oh, and the Vikings need that game, so all the motivation is on their side.
Santa, (Somewhere over South America)
AP or LT? Brees or Rodgers? Please answer. Ho, Ho, Ho!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:38 AM)
Early start, Santa, eh? Don't forget to bring me everything from my list! I hold grudges. Adrian Peterson, again, big-time motivation. And Aaron Rodgers, who shredded the Lions defense in their past meeting this year.
Ryan: Miami, FL
Merry Christman Run THC, Have the last week of my championship and I'm down by 13, need to make some good decisions. TE: Assuming I'm sitting Clark, do you like Shiancoe, Olsen, or Zach Miller? DST: Atlanta, New England, or Washington QB: start warner and hill (start 2 QB's) or start 4 rb's between westy, forte, grant, CJ, Dunn and MeMo? Lastly, 3 out of Boldin, evans, Bowe, Royal and Bess Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:40 AM)
Let's make those quick-hitters ... Tight end, I'd go Greg Olsen. Like the matchup. Defenses, I'd again go Falcons. Rams on the road? Blech. I'd go with the two quarterbacks, and among the running backs, don't know how many you must sit, but MeMo first to go, then Warrick Dunn. And among receivers, Anquan Boldin wouldn't play for me. And Lee Evans, again, horrible history against New England.
Santa(Somewhere over Asia)
Tile game for me. Deangelo play a full game? Or do i play T Choice with Turner? Have Megatron and Santana Moss? Need a 3rd WR? Any waiver sleepers Week 17? Thanks in advance for cookies/milk!!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:42 AM)
Dude, you travel quick! I'm impressed ... Now don't forget my iPhone! Again, I hold grudges. I think DeAngelo Williams plays enough of that game to matter. The No. 2 seed in the NFC is up for grabs, and that's huge. He's playing for me. Sleeper receivers? Hmmm. Steve Breaston, Johnnie Lee Higgins, James Jones, Harry Douglas, Mark Bradley...
Xavier (Seattle)
Last minute help please?! Rodgers over Warner this week? Seems like I can't pass up the DET matchup. And McClain, T Bell, F Jackson, or R Brown this week? Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:43 AM)
Yup! I agree with you on the matchup, and I don't believe for a second that Kurt Warner is playing for quarters. Dude's gotta rest sometime, at his age. There won't be a bye week's rest! I'd also take Le'Ron McClain of the running backs. Performing nicely, getting regular touches and playing a team that has checked out for the season already.
Jake (Chicago)
Is Antonio Bryant a legitimate #1 WR next season?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:45 AM)
I find it very hard to believe that this out-of-nowhere wonder is a No. 1 receiver for 2009. Really do. For as much as I admire what he has done, I won't be taking him among the top 10 receivers. Now, at No. 15 at his position? Sure, I can absolutely see that. He's a legitimate second-tier guy. But I want to see more -- particularly consistency -- before I'll declare him top-shelf talent.
phil los angeles,ca
They say marshawn lynch is injured. Should i start him or tj houshmanzadeh??
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:47 AM)
I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch sits out the season finale. At best, I see him splitting work with Fred Jackson. The matchup is a poor one, so I'd make that swap and take Housh, sure.
Mike (Boston)
How do you feel about Miami Def this week? I think they could be a huge sleeper...Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:48 AM)
I'm not going to use the phrase "huge sleeper," because the Jets have motivation in this game, too. I can make the case based on how poor Brett Favre has performed lately. So I'll give you that. But I'm still ranking the Dolphins around 10th as defenses go. So make an effort to find better, if you can, I'm saying.
Rick (NY)
Fair Keeper Trade: Miguel Cabrera & Jimmy Rollins for Jose Reyes & Kevin Youkilis?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:49 AM)
Sure. And you know what's interesting? Youkilis qualifies at third and Cabrera does not. At least in standard leagues. Better value in the Reyes side than you'd think!
Joe (Indy)
Merry Christmas! Please answer this Q to make mine merry as well. Im in need of a RB this week who is starting out of T. Choice or F. Jackson?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:50 AM)
I don't have an official answer for you, Joe. A guesstimate? I think Tashard Choice has the stronger chance to start for his NFL team. And he's the one I want of those two, no matter how the status of Marion Barber and Marshawn Lynch shakes out.
Dan (Cincinnati)
Who are your Top 5 WRs for next season?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:52 AM)
Andre Johnson's No. 1, I know that. Hmmm, outside of that, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, probably Reggie Wayne, would be in my top five. Greg Jennings, Steve Smith so close.
Need Offseason Help! P-L-E-A-S-E PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
I've already failed on my league because I've been paying attention to Gridiron Challenge more, so now I want to get some guys for next season and I'll pay more attention to that. Question: I didn't know I had Brady on my bench so I guess thats good right? What about R. Bush, or F. Taylor for 09, or anybody else you can think of. Merry Christmas to you and ESPN!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:53 AM)
Merry Christmas to you too! The only knock I have on the three you listed is that Fred Taylor is almost assuredly out of Jacksonville in 2009, and I can't see him being anything more than a little-used backup elsewhere. Think what Ahman Green was this season. Not a keeper.
Brian (Oshkosh, WI)
Is Clinton Portis a top 5 back next year in fantasy football??
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:54 AM)
Can be. Doubt he'll be in mine. Certainly a mid-first rounder at the very least. Remember that I haven't done any official rankings ... things change a spot or two in the first round between now and July. It happens.
Denny (Bronx)
a great xmas gift from you - we know it's early, but how about a couple of mid-to-late round sleepers for 2009 at qb, rb, wr. we'd love that!!!!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:56 AM)
OK, off the top of my head, I liked very much what I saw from Joe Flacco, I liked very much what I saw from Derrick Ward, and I liked very much what I saw from Anthony Gonzalez, this season. Ward only worries me in that I think he did this well because of his natural pairing with the bruising Brandon Jacobs. So while I think he'll start (or be a strong candidate to) elsewhere next season, I wouldn't go too nuts with him.
Person{Pittsburgh}
I know this is off topic but does anyone else have no snow today
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:57 AM)
We've got tons where I'm at, and it did snow a bit this morning. A white Christmas for once!
Quinn (Boulder)
Behind in a 2 week super bowl and could stand to gamble. Any sleeper D/ST's worth playing over Dallas's? Not much out there, but I could grab Atl, Cle, Jax, or Indy (does Ten have anything to play for?) Thanks!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:57 AM)
Again, Atlanta on this one.
Ben (MN)
Can only keep 1 RB and 1 WR. Turner, DeAngelo or Gore. Roddy White or TO?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:58 AM)
If I have to make this decision today, it's going to be the two Falcons. Michael Turner is legit. And White is tremendously underrated.
Rick NC
W. Dunn Or M.Morris this week,,,,Tampa def/st or Atlanta --Merry Christmas
Tristan H. Cockcroft (11:59 AM)
One of my previous answers indicated I like Warrick Dunn slightly better than Maurice Morris, but you know, looking at it more closely and thinking about it again, I prefer Morris' matchup. Greater chance of touches to tear up a bad defense. I'm entitled to change my mind; that previous question asked which two backs to sit! And Tampa's D for sure. Motivation there, great matchup.
Don (Sacramento)
Is Ronnie Brown going to put up double digit points this weekend or has Ricky Williams become the favorite son in Miami?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:01 PM)
I think they're going to split the work, and be almost dead even in fantasy value. Not that I think either is a great play. Brown slightly over Williams.
Kyle (Georgia)
Will the faclons go to the super bowl
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:01 PM)
I'm saying no, because it's asking so much of a rookie quarterback to take his team that deep. Matt Ryan has had such an impressive freshman season, but I think he'll hit a stumbling block in this learning process in January. The experience will be good for him (just ask Eli Manning those few years back).
Trey (TX)
Cutler or Cassel?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:02 PM)
Jay Cutler. That's gonna be a shoot-out. Can't wait to see it. Points galore.
Ryan: Miami, FL
Run THC, One last question? Would you pick up higgins over one of these: Bess, Bowe or Royal based on your last response to sit boldin and evans? BTW, I start 3 rb (including flex) so I guess it would be westy, forte, and grant (CJ will probably sit) Thanks again!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:03 PM)
Nah. That was a deep-sleeper recommendation, nothing more. Don't go nuts. And I wouldn't use Higgins over Lee Evans; that was not what I said. No way. I agree with your running back choices, incidentally.
Scott (Cincinnati)
I recently lost in the first round of the playoffs but have a question for next year. I am in a 2 keeper league. Who would you lean toward keeping between Forte, Gore, Jennings, Romo? Never too early to start thinking about next year. Thanks.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:04 PM)
The two running backs, for sure. But I almost always advise you keep 'em, because the good ones like those dry up so fast in a draft.
its beginning to look alot like christmas not in florida
holt, walter, djax, or breaston need 1
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:05 PM)
I used to live in Florida and Christmas was so weird, with rain and warm temperatures. Interesting, but I dunno, I grew up in the northeast so I'm used to cold weather and snow in December. As for your picks, I'll go Kevin Walter! I like that matchup most of the bunch.
Eric (Houston)
Heading into the championship game, I am facing a potential nightmare at QB with Peyton and Big Ben... since both are probably going to be holding clipboards on Sunday (neither the Steelers nor the Colts can improve their seedings, etc. this week). So... should I hope Dungy or Tomlin decides they want to win for the momentum heading into the play-offs or sign one of the available QBs listed below? Garrard T. Jackson Flacco S. Hill Wallace Bulger Leftwich (if Big Ben is benched) Sorgi (if Peyton is benched) Thanks in advance for the advice!
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:06 PM)
I wouldn't mess with Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlisberger, nor their stand-ins. It could be one quarter for each of them, and three for their stand-ins, and that's a horrible mix for all. I look at your choices and point out that Shaun Hill has actually been a lot more reliable than you'd think! He'd be my pick. Good luck!
sony Cali
Mark Clayton or Derrick Mason....
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:07 PM)
I think there's enough health risk with Mason that I'd take the shot on Clayton. But that's my gut instinct based on the health information I have on Mason as of this very second.
Cletus, Napertucky IL
Merry Festivus, THC. Can you help me out in a title game? ATL or TB at DST; Wayne, Breaston, or A Gonzalez at WR? going with Choice, Jordan, Turner at RB and Flex, leaving Dunn out. What do you think?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:08 PM)
I find your belief system fascinating, Cletus! Happy Festivus to you. Tampa Bay at defense, for the reasons stated earlier, and I'd avoid Colts at receiver. Steve Breaston has a great matchup there, and will probably play a full game with Anquan Boldin nicked up. And I would probably go Warrick Dunn over LaMont Jordan at running back. The matchup is a good one, you know.
Cedric Benson
Will people really start me this week over players like Westbrook and Forte?
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:09 PM)
I won't.
dalton groenewold tucson AZ
who should i play? dunn or fargus
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:09 PM)
Warrick Dunn.
Tristan H. Cockcroft (12:10 PM)
OK everyone, time to call things to a close. Thank you for all of your questions, and sorry if I didn't get to tackle yours today. Always so many! I'd like to take a second to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas, and happy holidays as well to those who don't celebrate it. Take care, and my best wishes to you and your loved ones! Good luck this week...
