I think they're wrong. Utah is deserving. They hammered Alabama and went through an entire season without any slipups. They beat an Oregon State team that beat SC. They beat TCU and BYU too. All four of those are very loseable games. They just beat a team that was #1 for like a month.

It should've helped it a little but ultimately I think it hurts it because people will say they found another way to lose. I was with some media folks watching it and one of them remarked that it was probably worse than them losing 41-14. I disagree, but people will still look back on it as just a loss.

Most of the D is back, but they'll need Tremain Swindoll and Detron Lewis to step up. I hear QB Taylor Potts will be a very good one. He has the strongest arm of any Tech QB Leach has had.

Bruce my man. Do you think that the OU no huddle offense will give the gator D an issues? They won't be able to substitute the players they want, and they will wear down quicker chasing OU all over the field. UT turned it up in the 2nd half against OSU and they struggled

I'm a big believer in them and Chip Kelly's offense. They have a ton of firepower.. Not sure about the D though. I thought for all of the experience they had in the secondary, it was a bit disappointing.

I do. Wouldn't be surprised if they're preseason top 10 next year. They lose a great player on D in Peria Jerry but they are deep on the D-line and they get Bama at home. They have a good shot to win the SEC West with Snead and those receivers.
