John Seibel (2:00 PM)
let's chat already. what are you brining, sportsnation?
Did you see McNabb's rebirth coming?
John Seibel (2:02 PM)
nope because you said "rebirth". that suggests he went some where or lost some skills or something. he didn't do either. the only time donovan wasn't a top flight quarterback was when he was hurt. some even want to hold that against him. i don't hear anyone slamming tom brady because his knee was ripped up.
JBG (Scranton, PA)
What are Iggles fans saying about Reid and McNabb now Johnny?
John Seibel (2:04 PM)
hopefully, they're eating crow. i sat next to a father and son from philly during the tampa/carolina monday nighter last month. the dad said some incredibly offensive things. i'm amazed what came out of his mouth, and i'm still amazed that it seems like most of eagle nation has no clue as to what they have a quarterback. philly fans need to wake up. they are missing the boat altogether.
Michael (Wash, D.C.) [via mobile]
The Arizona Cardinals are defintely the cinderella team this year. How good are their chances to go the the Super Bowl ?
John Seibel (2:08 PM)
with that offense, i think they have a great chance. i still think the list of "to do's" for philly to win is much smaller, though, than arizona's.
Dezmond (Oz) [via mobile]
Eagles vs steelers matchup possible?
John Seibel (2:09 PM)
that was my pick before the playoffs started, and nothing has moved me from that position. as a matter of fact, i have even more confidence that will be the case. philly is the hottest team in the league, and i've been on the record over the last couple of months saying that the steelers are the best team.
Kirk san bernadino ca [via mobile]
Has rob ryan left the raiders
John Seibel (2:11 PM)
he sure has. who could blame him? he's a GREAT football mind stuck in a pigskin cesspool. the raiders are a mess. good for him to get out. regain his sanity, and coach some where with an owner who understands it's 2009.
scott (Brewcity, WI) [via mobile]
Who do u think think the packers should hire as defensive coordinator?
John Seibel (2:12 PM)
mike nolan. he's an elite DC.
Matt lake tahoe, CA [via mobile]
The Panthers lack of performance this week end have people high on the Cards can they really beat the Eagles?
John Seibel (2:12 PM)
let's give the cardinals some credit for the panthers poor performance.
Justin-cincinnati ohio. [via mobile]
Who do u think the cincinnati Bengals should draft with there sixth pick.
John Seibel (2:14 PM)
michael crabtree. they have needs at right tackle, center and running back as well. i think chad will be gone. they'll put the franchise tag on tj houshmanzadeh, but they'll need another big threat. neither simpson or caldwell from last year's draft seem ready to be on the big stage. there's no doubt about crabtree.
Philadelphia Pa [via mobile]
Comment. I love to see Donovan traded so that the EAGIRLS fans can see Donovan get a ring elsewhere
John Seibel (2:16 PM)
i'm with you; although, if the eagles don't re-do donovan's deal he could possibly force a trade after winning the super bowl this year. that would be the ultimate "in your face."
Outside of QB, what areas should the Vikings address in the draft? Should they go after a QB in a trade (Cassell, Derek Anderson, McNabb(pipe dream?)) or get one in FA (Garcia, ???) and then improve elsewhere with their draft picks?
John Seibel (2:17 PM)
first i make a play for donovan. if that doesn't work, i go after jeff garcia while seeing if perhaps jd booty could be developed over a couple of years. i wouldn't touch derek anderson.
Robert Reading, PA [via mobile]
Why doesn't Andy Reid get a big running back to compliment Westbrook? Can't expect McNabb to always get those iches for first down or touchdown.
John Seibel (2:18 PM)
because that means more focus on the running game, and andy reid hates running the ball.
JBG (Scranton, PA)
Can you see either Kerry Collins, Kurt Warner or Matt Leinart in a Vikings' uniform next season? Give me at least a glimmer of hope that Tavaris isn't under center.
John Seibel (2:19 PM)
jackson is the viking starter only if minnesota fails miserably in the offseason. warner is staying in AZ. i don't know why the vikings would make a play for leinart.
Ghantu (Baltimore) [via mobile]
the G men can't win without plax that's a huge problem
John Seibel (2:21 PM)
...and he can't stop being an idiot off the field. that's a bigger problem. maybe he could star in yet another remake of "The Longest Yard."
Johnny (whittier, CA) [via mobile]
Although the steelers d is ranked #1, do you think the ravens d is playing better as of late?
John Seibel (2:22 PM)
i don't think so. not that there's a big gap between the two, but i'll take the steelers and ben. you can have the ravens and the rook.
Colin Las Vegas, Nevada [via mobile]
Will Ben Rothlisberger remain consistent throughout the playoffs?
John Seibel (2:23 PM)
i think so, but the bigger question is will willie parker and the run game remain consistent. if they do, ben will be phenomenal.
Tyson (PA) [via mobile]
how sick it would be instate rivals superbowl matchup?
John Seibel (2:24 PM)
it would do away with the governor wager, but at least the mayors could still gamble.
matthew cudahy, wisconsin [via mobile]
was the defensive coordinator the problem in green bay?
John Seibel (2:25 PM)
i think an poor running game was the bigger issue which then highlighted some defensive issues late in the game because the pack couldn't control the ball or the clock.
brownsville [via mobile]
What's do u think is gonna happen with michael vick do u think the cowboys might pick him up to put some added pressure on romo since he has none?
John Seibel (2:27 PM)
i think someone will give vick a shot. actually, i HOPE someone does. the whole world will be watching. vick won't be able to go 66 on the highway without someone calling him out. i also want to see if he's a changed person. i know what he did was pathetic, but if he's changed, let's see. if he's not, back to the joint!
Eddie (queens NY) [via mobile]
if it turns out to be a all pennsylvania superbowl can you see philly taking it all?
John Seibel (2:29 PM)
let's put it this way. as a bengals fan, i can't root for the steelers in the super bowl. no way. go eagles!
Darron tanksley Indiana [via mobile]
Do you think that jeff fisher should return as the head coach for the titans after the team broke down in their only game in the playoffs?
John Seibel (2:29 PM)
no question he should. he's an elite head coach. vince lombardi lost playoff games as well.
John Seibel (2:30 PM)
swell work, humans. showtime is 4-eastern (noon in shimya, alaska) on espn radio and espnradio.com. later, people!
