Buzzmaster (4:07 PM)
Hang on folks. We're tracking down Antrel.
Buzzmaster (4:14 PM)
We've got Antrel!
Nick (Spokane)
How happy are you that you don't have to line up against Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin?
Antrel Rolle (4:15 PM)
At this point in time, that's not really something I can think about. As far as other teams that have to face them week in and week out. It's not a good feeling. At the end of the day, you're a football player and you have to do it. But I faced them in college and it's not easy. They're two of the toughest players.
Jason (Chicago)
When do you guys start preparing for the Eagles?
Antrel Rolle (4:16 PM)
Preparation started today. We had meetings. We went over the game with Carolina. But the gameplanning starts now. We don't start actually practicing until Wednesday, but preparation starts today.
Jmerms (NYC)
Are you happy that the game is being played in Arizona?
Antrel Rolle (4:17 PM)
We're very happy. We're excited that we're going to host the game in our backyard. It will give us a little more of an edge, not in the outcome of the game, but that we'll be able to have more fans and family there to join us.
Gary (Phoenix)
Antrel Rolle, Samari Rolle, Myron Rolle....The Rolle's are taking over the world, Antrel. It's a good time to have that last name.
Antrel Rolle (4:17 PM)
Yeah. That's a name that you have to take a pride. As Rolle's we have pride. We don't back down from challenges and that's allowed us to be where we are.
Ralph (New Jersey)
How was the defense able to give Delhomme such fits?
Antrel Rolle (4:18 PM)
I Think everyone played disciplined and hardnosed football. WE just played good football. We just ran to the ball and made plays when we should have and had opportunities to.
fred (neb)
how does it feel to have the defense play like it did, despite being somewhat overlooked this year?
Antrel Rolle (4:19 PM)
It felt good. We're very confident in our defensive group. We know what we're capable of. WE might have not shown it every game, but I think we're gelling and peaking together at the right time.
Nick (Spokane)
Antrel, how easy or hard was it to transition from corner to safety?
Antrel Rolle (4:20 PM)
It was kind of difficult, as far as your assignments and adjustments, but you have to be on your toes all the time. At CB, you have to play the guy in front of you. As safety, you're the QB of the defense, you can see everything going on.
Paul (Connecticut)
Has the team started talking about the Super bowl?
Antrel Rolle (4:20 PM)
No. That's not something that we can worry about at this point. We have one game ahead of us. That's our focus. Taking care of the NFC championship.
Steiny (NYC)
What was it like holding your future teammate Larry Fitzgerald to 3 catches for 26 yards in when you guys were in college? Do you ever joke around about that with him?
Antrel Rolle (4:21 PM)
It was a constant battle. He's an outstanding receiver. My thing was to try my hardest to not let him touch the ball. If he touches the ball, nine times out of 10 he comes down with it.
Steiny (NYC)
What are you guys going to have to do to stop Brian Westbrook, Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles?
Antrel Rolle (4:22 PM)
We just have to play a collective game. We just can't have too many mistakes. There will be mistakes made, that's part of football. But we just have to be focused on winning the football game.
Steiny (NYC)
Do you think Kurt Warner is a future HOF?
Antrel Rolle (4:23 PM)
No doubt about it. Kurt has done a great job. He's stepped up when it meant the most. He has been here before and knows exactly what to do to get the job done. And he can rally us together to get the job done as well.
Nick (Spokane)
Who is the toughest WR you've had to cover in your time in the NFL?
Antrel Rolle (4:23 PM)
I would have to say, maybe, Randy Moss.
Zo (AZ)
How fun is it to be part of some of those special offensive packages? I hope to see you get a chance to play some O come Sunday.
Antrel Rolle (4:24 PM)
It's just been very special. It's been fun. Hopefully I'll get some more chances at that. But if not, I'm sure those guys can take care of it on that side of the ball. It's been quite an experience, something I've always wanted to do.
Steiny (NYC)
What did you learn from Larry Coker at the University of Miami? What was the best advice that he ever gave you?
Antrel Rolle (4:25 PM)
The best advice he gave me was that you have to show good character. You have to show good character. That was something he used to push us on a lot.
Steiny (NYC)
Do you consider yourself the leader of the Cardinals defense?
Antrel Rolle (4:26 PM)
I don't think there is any particular leader of the defense. I do consider myself a leader in general. At times I think we're all leaders in our own way. You don't put anyone above the rest.
Gary (Phoenix)
How nice is it to see Edgerrin James be back to the same player he was 4-5 years ago?
Antrel Rolle (4:27 PM)
That's always great. Edge and I are very close. We're from the same town. He stepped up. The thing about it is that when he's pulled, he's a pro about it. He's always a guy I've considered a leader. He's probably given me the best advice and the most influential person I've talked to at this level. He might be one of the smartest guys I've ever talked to.
Antrel Rolle (4:27 PM)
It doesn't stop here. We're going to keep pushing and keep fighting.
Buzzmaster (4:27 PM)
Thanks Antrel!
