On Tuesday, Woodley will stop by to chat about Pittsburgh's 35-24 win over the San Diego Chargers in the NFL's division round of the playoffs. Woodley helped the defense with five tackles, including two sacks. He finished the regular season with 11.5 sacks. The Steelers face the Ravens on Sunday.

LaMarr Woodley (1:19 PM)
(laughing) WE SHOULD!!! We're out here playing great defense!!!
How much of an impact does Coach Tomlin have on your game mindset?
LaMarr Woodley (1:21 PM)
He has a lot. Being the he is a young coach, he understands the younger players. This past Sunday he knew that we were going to be playing in cold weather so he let us practice inside the whole week.
How are you guys preping for Joe Flacco and his offense?
LaMarr Woodley (1:22 PM)
The same way we prepared for him all year. We are gong to put pressure on him and hopefully get some sacks. It would be even better if the defense socred on the Ravens too.
How focused does Big Ben stay through anything that happens to him?
LaMarr Woodley (1:23 PM)
I can't really tell you about Big Ben but he works hard to get through all of it. We all knew that he would go out there and get the job done and that's just what he did.
Do you consider yourself the leader of the Pittsburgh Steelers Defense?
LaMarr Woodley (1:23 PM)
I wouldn't say that. I think I'm too young for that and that over time I will become a leader.
Justin Dowdy, Oklahoma City, OK
Is it true that you and James Harrison have a healthy competition when it comes to sacks and how much do the 2 of you talk smack to each other about sacks?
LaMarr Woodley (1:25 PM)
We talk everyday in practice and every week in the game. He has a couple more than I do right now and I'm trying to catch up. But the most important thing is that we work together on defense and that's just what we do.
When did you guys start to think you could have a special season this year?
LaMarr Woodley (1:26 PM)
Im training camp. The way we were working everyday showed that we can have a special team. Every week we play hard and do what we need to do to win.
What's the Steelers locker room like right now? From an outsider's view, I'm very impressed with how calm and lighthearted everyone seems to be, especially considering the pressure of performing in the playoffs.
LaMarr Woodley (1:27 PM)
There are a lot of guys in the locker room that have been through this before. They talk to us younger guys and give us confidence. They dlet us know that we have to play now because this chance might never happen again.
Mike (Ewa Beach, HI)
How did the bye week help you specifically? What are your thoughts/ opinions on Coach Tomlin? Same with Coach Lebeau and Butler.
LaMarr Woodley (1:29 PM)
It the some the veteran guys rest up a little bit and go out there against the Chargers and play hard. It also let us prepare a little more for the Chargers.
Ronald Hagood, JR (Alabama)
How dissapointing was the Wolverines season to you?
LaMarr Woodley (1:30 PM)
UMM, UMM, UMM! It was disappointing but people who know football, know that we lost a lot of players from the season before. It was a struggle for us but I think they will turn it around.
With the Ravens also having a tough defense, do you guys think your defense might have to come up with some points on your own to help out the team?
LaMarr Woodley (1:31 PM)
We're going to play like we have played all season on. We just have to stop their offense from putting up more points than our team.
Jim, Trenton, NJ
Hi Lamarr, Great game last week! I know that when they play Renegade on the video board, The fans get worked into a frenzy. My question is, does it also hype up the defense, or are you guys too into the game to really notice? For my money, your near safety sack needs to be included in that video. Man, what a hit!
LaMarr Woodley (1:32 PM)
We notice!!! I always look forward to watching it in the fourth quarter. There are some big time plays in that video!
Jeff (Pittsburgh, PA)
Do you think that Baltimore will load up the O-line again similar to what they did in the last meeting in Balitmore? If so does that provide more of an opportunity for you to get to Flacco because usually the extra tackle seems to be on Harrison's side?
LaMarr Woodley (1:34 PM)
I think they will do the same thing because they had some success in moving the ball down the field. Are defense will come prepared and try to stop them.
What was it like recording your first professional touchdown on a fumble recovery against the Baltimore Ravens in Week Four?
LaMarr Woodley (1:35 PM)
That was big time! I didn't expect to score a touchdown this early in my career. A lot of players got on me for not having a touchdown dance, but it was a good feeling.
How important is it for you to give back to the community?
LaMarr Woodley (1:37 PM)
It's real important to me. I've been doing Hero's for Kids since my sophomore year in college. We have raised about $400,000 for kids in the community. Any time that I can help, I there!
LaMarr Woodley (1:38 PM)
Thank you for your questions! GO STEELERS!!!!
