Hines, how did you decide who got your Super Bowl tickets?
Hines Ward (5:01 PM)
Of course my closest family members got first dibs, my inner circle, which includes my mom, my son, my high school coach (who is like a second father to me), my lawyer, my agents, and friends who could not go to Detroit. So being closer to Atlanta a lot of my friends are driving down to see the game, sleeping five to a room. I had to get 24 tickets. It was a lot of money, but it was a once in a lifetime possibility, and it involves people who are very close to me.

Have Stallworth or Swann contacted you to wish you luck?
Hines Ward (5:02 PM)
No, they have not for the Super Bowl, but I talked to them over the season while I was breaking the Steelers' receiving records. I see Lynn at a lot of events since he's in the Pittsburgh area, and I talk to Stallworth from time to time. They are very supportive.

How is wearing a knee brace goign to affect your play on Sunday if at all?
Hines Ward (5:03 PM)
It will actually give me more support and help. The brace is more for precautionary reasons. It is more for padding than anything. I do not see it being a problem. I have been walking around with it, and practicing with it so I can get used to it.
Pablo (Miami, FL)
The 2nd time around in the Super Bowl, do you feel more pressure or nervousness to do it again or more relaxed?
Hines Ward (5:05 PM)
More relaxed. For me it is not overwhleming playing in the Super Bowl. Last time it was overwhelming, it being the first time. It is nice to be down here and dealing with all the requests and attention. It is a great feeling being down here. It is not more pressure. I actually am enjoying it a lot more the second time around and appreciating it a lot more.
Matt (Bethel Park, PA)
I was kinda disappointed we didn't get a sideline view after this block, but what kind of a reaction did you have after Sweed threw the block on Ivy at the AFC championship game? Also did Sweed just pick that up or was that some of your training on that?
Hines Ward (5:06 PM)
He has always watched us and seen us play physical. I think it was just a case of leading by example. I always tell people if you get your opportunity take your shot, because people are going to take shots at you. After that block I think Limas really got into the game. It jump started him.
How do you respond to opponents who claim you are a dirty player?
Hines Ward (5:09 PM)
I laugh about it. I am not out there trying to end someone's career. It is football and it is a dangerous sport. I go out as an offensive player and attack people. I do not care what people say or think. I go out and block because I want to help me team gain yards. People say I block people when they are not looking, but I am not going to tap someone on the shoulder and say "I am going to hit you now." No one calls Ray Lewis dirty when he decleats someone. So if opponents want to call me dirty I'll take it as a compliment. If you were on my team you would enjoy it.
Matt (Athens, GA)
Hines when you coming down to Athens again. And what do you think of the Dawgs next year? Do we somehow upset Florida?
Hines Ward (5:10 PM)
I try to go back as much as I can. I would love to catch a game, but it is hard during the season. I try to spend as much time as I can with my mom and my son during my bye week, which makes it hard to get down there. As far as the win over Florida, they are a great team, but as long as our guys play with confidence, then I think we have a great shot against Florida.
Peter (Avon, CT)
How has the Steelers' team and team chemistry changed since you guys were in your last superbowl?
Hines Ward (5:12 PM)
I think it has changed missing a guy like Bettis this time around. Last time it was us against the world as a No. 6 seed, and we wanted to end Jerome's career on a high note in Detroit. This year we are going out and we want to win it for ourselves and the city of Pittsburgh. And we want to be part of history, being the first team to win six titles.
Pablo (Miami, FL)
What scares you most about the Cardinals team? Is there one player that you would prefer not to see on the field?
Hines Ward (5:13 PM)
They have a bunch of explosive guys, no question about it. I think Kurt Warner is the key. If wer can rattle him, I think we have a chance to win this game.
hines, whats on the Ipod/mp3 for the big game?
Hines Ward (5:15 PM)
The first track will probably be T.I. "Swagger Like Us", I also have DJ Khaled "Go Hard," and Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight".
Hines, do you think you will be a future HOF?
Hines Ward (5:17 PM)
I do not know. It is out of m control. It would be a great honor. It is up to the media. They have the votes. Should I be? Well if I can get another Super Bowl ring that would help. Not too many people can say they have two Super Bowl rings. So by winning two, it will probably increase my chances. I do not know, though. It is out of my hands.
Are the Bengals a bunch of cry babies? Or just soft?
Hines Ward (5:18 PM)
I do not know if they are cry babies. They have a lot of problems going on now with the organization. They have more to worry about than what I have to say.
Hines Ward (5:19 PM)
That's my time. I am working hard and trying to bring a sixth title to the city of Pittsburgh.
