Amy Nelson (9:45 AM)
Guys "ll be back in 15 minutes to start the chat. We've got the dunk contest back again and there'll be talk about Miggy, Cavs-Pacers end of game, and UNC-Duke...
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
amy, what are the odds we can keep this favre free?
Amy Nelson (10:01 AM)
Funny, was thiking the same thing. Last time he retired we had to hear people go on and on about their love affair...not today, guys...
BJ (Carmel, NY)
No talk of the UConn-Syracuse game?
Amy Nelson (10:01 AM)
Welll I'm sure we'll get to that too...but what's up first?
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
So was the end of the Cavs-Pacers game Skip's dream come true? Can't wait to hear his ripping of LeBron this morning
Amy Nelson (10:04 AM)
Skip isn't here today, unfortunately. It's sad, I know.
Amy Nelson (10:04 AM)
Honestly, I loved the quotes after the game. What can you say, at least they were consistent...
jacob (pittsburgh)
All i want to say, is thank god Farve is done. Hopefully Sportscenter wont only focus on this and arod
Jazmin (Toms River, NJ)
Skip's on vacation Chris.
Amy Nelson (10:05 AM)
Jazmin, on top of things!
Christopher (San Antonio)
Why didn't any of the headlines in New York read "F-Rod" This guy is a joke, his middle finger to everyone in the Gammons interview was comical! He must think that the public is stupid.
jeremy honolulu hi [via mobile]
im sick of favre still from last year sit down wear wranglers and get outta the spotlight we are sick of you
Kenny (Elyria, OH)
Amy about this hoe A-Rod steriod contorvsey I blame a-rod and also the MLBPA for letting this happen. But hopefully now with better drug testing this issue will get resolved soon.
Amy Nelson (10:06 AM)
It will never be resolved. Guys will always look for something, though I will say the game has cleaned up considerably.
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Someone want to let Christopher in San Antonio know that there are 103 other 'jokes' out there?
Michael (Warroad, Minnesota)
jazmin is awesome!!
Rich (Pawtucket, RI)
Good Morning Amy & Yea were back on the main page today ! :)
Amy Nelson (10:06 AM)
Rich, you're my main page gatekeeper...
Michael (Warroad, Minnesota)
both calls were ridiculous
Monty (DC)
LeBrick needs to take the blame for the loss. Fouling Granger on the last play was nothing compared to his 7 turnovers and not getting his team involved. His ego has taken away his true game which is being a Magic Johnson type like player. He wants to be a Jordan but even Jordan made everyone on his team better and did not walk off on his team.
Adam (Tampa, FL)
Amy do you think Manny Ramirez is on the juice?
Amy Nelson (10:07 AM)
Guys, I think it's dangerous for me to speculate on anyone. But, he is one of a generation. So I think it's naive to think anyone was clean, in my opinion.
Kev (NYC)
As terrible as it is to cheat...I don't hold Arod in the same category as Bonds, Sosa, McGwire because at least Arod confessed and opposed to the other group and players who denied it and now live in shadows which is the most pathetic thing to do
Amy Nelson (10:08 AM)
I guess, but Arod was caught redhanded (with a positive test) the others weren't....he onyl confessed (to an extent) because he had no other recourse. I think we should be wary of calling this a noble thing.
Jeremey(Louisville)
I think everybody is just sick of Brett Favre.
Amy Nelson (10:09 AM)
Agreed!
George Thomas (Canton MI)
Amy it seems every season Favre is quitting and then coming back when the season start, can we just tell him to show up after training camp cause it just seems he wants to avoid that. But ita??s ok as long as there no more talk about baseball.
Amy Nelson (10:09 AM)
George! Sorry my friend, I cover baseball so you're always gonna get it.
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Wait, did Monty just say LeBron's ego has taken away from his game? The guy was just one questionable rebound from a very impressive triple-double last week. If his ego is taking away from his game, I fear how good he can be.
Jen (Storrs, CT)
So that was a wild Westminster Dog Show!
Amy Nelson (10:09 AM)
Bananas!
Andy (Akron)
How was that a foul on LeBron? He had better position on the ball because it was thrown short?? That game should have went into O.T.
John Fusco
I would like to see a poll, and ask everyone their opinion on the government being involved in the baseball steroid investgation,I think the government has bigger problems than spending much needed tax dollars to hold these hearings, and investgations.
Jake(Chicago,IL)
A-Rod must be naive, his admission interview was a joke with his avoidance of answering questions that mattered. While you felt stupid and naive for doing PEDs, fans aren't stupid and naive enough to think that these PEDs could've been found at GNC like you claim.
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
any love for the UK-Florida game last night...Jodie Meeks baby
Amy Nelson (10:11 AM)
I watched that happen live and when eh took the shot thought no way was it going in...pretty cool. How bout the kid choking at the line?
Ben (Detroit, MI)
LeBron had plenty of opportunities throughout the game to win it. He shouldn't have let it come down to one possession at the end.
Kevin (Cleveland)
Amy, I think that Skip picked the worst day to take off
Amy Nelson (10:12 AM)
Worst week...
Toby (PA)
AARP-Rod represents all that is wrong in baseball today.
Dwayne (Dallas, Tx)
Where is skip, He is the guy u love to hate, Farve will be remeberd as a great qb and i was happy to see all has given these years. It's now time to move on
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
For those of us who chat, Skip picked a GREAT week to be off.
Scott (JAx, FL)
I dont see why soo many peopel are holding Lebron to such a high standard as a MJ or Kobe...hes just not there yet Remeber Kobe took awhile before he did anything really special and he had Shaq
Matt (South Bend, IN)
Why is this LeBron's issue, he scored 47 points, why do we insist Amy on viewing the Cavs as a one-man team? What about the other players stepping up?
Amy Nelson (10:14 AM)
well the story of that game was the calls, and leebron was right in the middle
Corey (louisiana)
it was bad calls both ways, lebron got the same star only call before that
Matt (South Bend, IN)
It should never have gotten to that point especially a team as bad as the Pacers are.
Austin (Cincinnati)
ok Danny granger definitly fouled but Lebron did not. there was no contact.
Nate (NH)
I think Farve is hanging the cleats up. Just the timing of the decision I believe shows how comfortable with the decision. If it was made so early in the offseason it shows he is at ease with the idea of walking away and not fighting with it.
Amy Nelson (10:16 AM)
Good point, Nate
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Both of those calls at the end of the game were awful...Both of those passes were short and there was minimal, if any, contact...If you are a ref, you need to swallow your whistle without a doubt on BOTH of those plays.
Daniel (Amherst, WI)
Lebron had position the pass was short with no contact BAD CALL!
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Well, at least no one can say that Danny Granger is underrated anymore...Apparently the refs think he is in the LeBron, Kobe, D-Wade group.
Kev (NYC)
Favre will never be comfortable with the retirement decision because it takes attention away from him and that kills him.
Scott (JAx, FL)
Lebron has accomplished a lot and everyone makes mistakes and fouls or misses a shot so why is it as if he called timeout when they didnt have anymore like Webber
Justin Chicago,IL
Arod juiced but that is no different from taking anything substance that gives you an edge..players took greenies and a lot of them are in the hall...difference is they didn't test for it and it was "the culture" back then
John Fusco-Linton,Ind
Amy I like what Bob Knight said about performance enhancing products. There has always been and always will be enhancements, who decides what is okay and what isnt. By the way you are a very good part of espn, keep it up
Amy Nelson (10:19 AM)
It's very true, and even the world's top anti-doping experts will say the same thing.
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Eric Montross! I'm surprised they didn't have Austin Crosier's analysis of the Pacers-Cavs game...
erik(cathedral city,ca)
why does everyone say swallow the whistle during the last seconds of the game? Let them play, people say. A foul is a foul and should be called. If the players think it makes the outcome of the game, well then don't foul.
John H (Lincolnton NC)
Lebron is a cry baby, he said that the call before where he was fouled was a lil questionable but the same play was a not a foul at all come on now!!!
TO, Dallas
i miss skip
Amy Nelson (10:22 AM)
To, I bet you do...
Sam (Chapel Hill)
I log on to Espn.com everyday praying I see Amare to Bulls headlines. Come on Paxon, PULL THE TRIGGER for once!
Scott (JAx, FL)
Enhancements are just apart of teh game...I play college ball and I see people all the time trying to get the edge because of high expectations and desire to be good at what they do
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
See, in professional sports, especially the NBA where you play every other night for 82 games, players truly turn it on at the end of the game...Therefore, the end of the games need to be reffereed like playoff games, where ref's are swallowing the whistle, and letting the players play...That said, I don't think last night was that case for EITHER of the plays, neither one was a foul!
Andy (Akron)
exactly Erik, if it is a foul on the first poss. of the game, it should be a foul on the last. Too bad the NBA doesn't see it that way.
John H (Lincolnton NC)
I wish skip was on today to talk about lebron
Amy Nelson (10:23 AM)
Funny, i woudln't expect that to be a popular opinion.
Matt (South Bend, IN)
Best rivalry in sports is not UNC-Duke, I know it's not that great now, but the best one is NHL Montreal vs. Boston the hate between those two teams is unmatched in sports.
Sami (Ann Arbor,MI)
Actually Lebron James would be very popular at the moment, the foul at the end of the game was not a ful at all!
HC (Atlanta)
I wish skip was on today to talk about Lebron AND Favre
Amy Nelson (10:27 AM)
do't know if you guys are awtching but they are showing the dunks
Amy Nelson (10:27 AM)
we need you to vote for the score number of each dunk
Amy Nelson (10:28 AM)
and if you have a dunk you think should be in there, we want to hear it...
Amy Nelson (10:29 AM)
don't forget we need you to rank them
Amy Nelson (10:29 AM)
1-10
Brian (Michigan)
Put in McGrady's missed dunk. I loved that.
James L. Philadelphia
Amy, I saw you on msnbc the other night (hardball, i think).
Amy Nelson (10:30 AM)
hah yes it was last night, 1600 thanks
joe [via mobile]
amy can you read this
Amy Nelson (10:30 AM)
i can joe, our first mobile writer!
Tim (Luzerne, PA)
The one by Trevor Booker last Wednesday. Ill give it a 9 but it deserves to be in
Chuck (Wash. D.C.)
Blake Griffin's dunk is hands down the best! I did however, like the other dunk he had in the same game better. The one that he dunked over top of a couple of guys and let from just inside the free throw line! That kid is going to be a beast at the next level! we may finally get a chance to see what Len Bias may have been like in the NBA when Griffin gets there!
Pat (Savage, MN)
Amy, did you ever in your life think you'd see so many people missing Skip?
Amy Nelson (10:31 AM)
um, no
Zach Rantoul, IL
Blake Griffin's dunk was sick, Vince Carter loved it im sure. This kid is going to be something great, lets just hope he can stay and pull a pyscho t and break the mold of going to the NBA early.
Cheeadwick (Non your business)
McGrady's miss: thats a 10
Will Pa
Not a Griffen fan but that dunk is a 9 hands down
Jeremey(Louisville)
Wade was a 8.5, Collins was an 8, pick on somebody youre own size, and Griffin a 10 because the guy thought he was going to catch him and block it and then tried to get out of the picture.
Robbie Farmer (Louisville, KY)
For the best dunk of the week, what about Kevin Galloway for U of K last night, dunking over three people to spark the comeback
Amy Nelson (10:32 AM)
Didn't see it, do other people agree? Shuold we go with that one, or Mcgrady's miss?
Elliott (New York, NY)
No more vacations for Skip. He would been on fire today!!
Jazmin (Toms River, NJ)
I missed the dunks, what were they?
Amy Nelson (10:34 AM)
1. Dwayne Wade on the break avoids block and finishes with baby windmill dunk 2. U of Miami's Dwayne Collins dunks on Greg Paulus 3. Off the steal, oklahoma's blake griffin breaks out the full windmill
Nick (Malone, NY)
I think Mcgrady's miss was hillarious and deserves to be seen by all again!
Andrew (Japan/New Jersey)
Blake Griffin gets a 9
Chuck (Wash. D.C.)
I agree on McGrady's miss! Hilarious!
matt (east northport)
Mcgradys miss was classic
Quinn (Chicago)
mcgradys miss was the best dunk
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
The thing with the Blake Griffin dunk is that personally I have become "bored" with open court dunks, with all of the dunk contests, and-1 type games, and such, the best dunks are when a defender is involved...Go with the kid from THE U
Brian (Michigan)
C'mon McGrady's miss, even his teammates loved it despite losing the game.
Amy Nelson (10:35 AM)
So what would you rate that?
Andy (Akron)
Wade- 7.5 Griffen- 8 (Dunk was great, but no defense.) The U- 9
Rich (Pawtucket, RI)
The Dunk Grades- Blake Griffin-10-yea A White Boy Dunking is a rarity ! Dwayne Collins a 9 & Dwayne Wade an 8
Jeremey(Louisville)
Mcgrady's miss by far.
Matt (Indianapolis)
Marcus Johnson of the Dayton Flyers tip in dunk to win the game with 1 second left over LaSalle has to be on the best drunk
ashley young (louisville ky)
I think blake just kills all of the other dunks in this contest
Sami F. (Ann Arbor)
blake griffin 9
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Galloway's dunk to spark UK's comeback last night...
Amy Nelson (10:37 AM)
Didn't see it, but right now it seems Mcgrady's dunk is in the running for the one we're adding...
Austin (Cincinnati)
The Kid from Miami Sleammed it and drove the guy to the ground. I give a 10
Tim (Luzerne, PA)
Griff - 8 Collins 10 Dwayne 9
Ryan - Norwalk, Ohio
Amy, can you read this? I think I'm having issues getting stuff posted.
Nick (Malone, NY)
McGrady's miss is a definite 10 over Wade
Jazmin (Toms River, NJ)
Thanks Amy, you rock :) Dwayne Wade gets an 8.2 from me. Dwayne Collins I'm sorry, I gotta give a 5.8. Blake's dunk is not that bad, but I give him an 8.3.
Amy Nelson (10:38 AM)
Those I think are the most accurate so far...it takes A LOT to get a 10 or a 9, in my opinion
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
If it can't be Galloway's dunk to spark UK's comeback, gotta go with the kid from the U...anytime I can see Greg Paulus dunked on again, I'm game.
Andrew (Japan/New Jersey)
Blake Griffin wins. He did a dunk contest dunk in a game and he got up and dunked it so smoothly but with authority. He wins hands down. I would say the Collins dunk because he seriously dunked all over Paulus, but Paulus is a 6 ft guard, so it does not count as much.
Amy Nelson (10:38 AM)
exactly, it's over a guard...
Dominique Wilkins (Hall of Fame)
You want to see a real windmill dunk? Check me out. These guys are amateurs.
Chris (Kentucky)
What about Griffins other dunk over two players in the same game?
college station tx
i think the dunk where griffin trashed everybody in the lane and hung for like five sec is the dunk of the week you really can't go wrong with any of the three dunks he had that game
Andrew (Baltimore, MD)
Hands Dwayne Collins posterizing Greg Paulus was the best dunk
David (Wilmington,NC)
WolfPack will spank the Deacs tonight!!!
Luke (Scottsville, NY)
Is there going to be any coverage on Jeremy Lusk? Or is Duke vs NC more important?
Amy Nelson (10:42 AM)
Luke, I know Dana was talking about that prior to the show...not today at least, but I think something may happen at some point though. Sad story
joe lowcash [via mobile]
add the t-mack miss very funny
Amy Nelson (10:42 AM)
yes, think that may be the winner. see guys, power to the people!
Anthony (Toledo, Ohio)
Duke is seriously going to get destroyed this year by NC. NC is overall to powerful for Duke. I am predicting that NC is going to be Duke by 15-20 points, for sure.
Shane (Winchester Virginia)
The best rivalry cant be between hockey teams Matt. People in the U.S dont care, the only sports they care about is football and basketball. so that would mean that Duke and UNC is the best. No matter if one or both are bad its still the best rivalry in sports.
matt (east northport)
thats what espn does they dont care about the real stories...just about dunks and meaningless stuff
Amy Nelson (10:43 AM)
well in fairness, the kid just passed away. it's not an easy story to cover, and at least doing the dunks gets people involved at home. it doesn't mean we don't cover real stories...
dan (union grove
mlb should cancel 2010 to allow player to get clean then test all player anyone to refuses should be under suspicion and suspened for year
Amy Nelson (10:44 AM)
hmmm, don't thinjk that's giong to happen. any there is no foolproof test out there for everything, doesn't exist
mlb should cancel 2010 to allow player to get clean then test all player anyone to refuses should be under suspicion and suspened for year
Amy Nelson (10:44 AM)
hmmm, don't thinjk that's giong to happen. any there is no foolproof test out there for everything, doesn't exist
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
I'd rather ESPN take its time with a story like the death of the motocross rider. It's not a story you want to rush.
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
I personally can't wait for Vick to come back...I think he will be focused, and ready to contribute as a backup/situational QB, as well as in the return game...He operates so well in space, if a team is willing to drop him deep on punts, he would be lethal...And with teams running the Wildcat, he is made for that, a true run/pass threat...O, and I don't want to hear that he should never be able to play again, there are plenty of people (athlete's included) that have done things just as bad to HUMANS, so let's move on...
Amy Nelson (10:46 AM)
Chris, Coudln't agree more
Antonio ((Bedford, OH))
So, who thinks Vick's coming back to an NFL team?
Tim (Luzerne, PA)
Woo Hoo! Go USA vs Mexico tonight. USA Pride baby!
Eric (Red Sox Nation, MT)
Show his greatest tricks, and a picture with the years he lived and a moment of silence as you go to commercial. It can be covered, honorably, or are you waiting for an expose' on the dangers of the sport. We'd rather attack our favorite sports these days.
Amy Nelson (10:47 AM)
Wow you guys are pretty bitter ... I think it's a lot easier to quarterback from the couch...
Eric (Phi, Pa)
Vick should not be allowed to play again
Ant (Statesboro)
I think Vick will be back. Infact I hope Vick is back soon as soon as possible.
Amy Nelson (10:49 AM)
The Jets need a qb right?
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Thank you Amy, it is a tough subject to cover, and I do not blame ESPN, they have posted it on the bottom line for almost 3 days now, and who knows about all of the details...
Andrew (Baltimore, MD)
I think it'd be fun to see what mike vick can do in a wildcat type of offense and i mean come on the guy did the time give him an opportunity to redeem himself
Mark (Troy, NY)
I think Vick should be allowed to play...I'm sure someone will take a chance....he's loaded with talent. I think part of his pay checks should go to local animal shelters
Kyle (Cleveland, OH)
Great, just what we need. Vick to the NY Jets. It's not already enough of a circus there?
Amy Nelson (10:52 AM)
that'd be great
Chris (West Chester, PA)
as long as ray lewis is playing in the nfl i think vick has the right to play
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Looks like you get the main page for the entire two hours today, Amy. Any chance we talk Selena Roberts or Pro Bowl over premier NBA game during hour two?
Michael (Wickliffe, OH)
I repeat, the Vikings need a QB who can not only run, but throw the ball accurately!
Matt (Atlanta, GA)
With as rough as PETA was to Vick, I don't think I'd hold it against him if he did nothing. It'd be great if he gave some of his paycheck to shelters, but he'll have paid his "debt to society" already.
Amy Nelson (10:57 AM)
what do you mean by nothing matt?
brian (ma)
the guy went to prison for DOGFIGHTING. im not saying its not wrong but people do a lot worse and don't go to prison. he's paid his debt to society
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
I want to know what Matt means by nothing too.
Amy Nelson (10:59 AM)
i don't understand what the nothing is...
Kyle (Cleveland, OH)
I think he means when he gets out of prison, he wouldn't be upset if he didn't play pro football at all.
Lisa (VA)
Vick only took "responsibility" when he was forced to, and to save chances for his career.
AngelicaRose (Los Angeles, CA)
Michael Vick should be a starting QB. I wasn't proud of what he did because I love dogs, but he served his time. It's time for him to return to the spotlight.
Nick (Malone, NY)
I still think McGrady's dunk deserves to be shown as a 10 for all of us to view regardless of the voting!
Amy Nelson (11:04 AM)
it will don't you worry...
Sam (Chapel Hill)
Duke is going down tonight. Our shooters are finally getting hot again and Psycho T is not going to lose his last game at Duke.
Michael (Wickliffe, OH)
Despite being a Viking fan, I still put Favre 6th on my all-time list. 1: Montana, 2: Elway, 3: P. Manning, 4: Brady, 5: Namath
nick ( clyde, ohio)
i hope unc crushes duke tonight , i hate the cameron crazies.
Kyle (Cleveland, OH)
Vick to the Vikings just doesn't make sense. They already have Tarvaris Jackson who throws far more accurately than Vick and comes with far less baggage. He played great in the final few games of the year.
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
Valid point about Favre is that he had good teams throughout the years and just won one Super Bowl...Granted, he did win one, but that's it? We rip Dan Marino for never winning one, but Favre had a much better supporting cast throughout the years, but killed them with untimely picks year after year
Paul (NJ)
Mexico is gonna get smoked tonight....
Supasize (Atl)
Vick sucked as QB. Years starting in Atl, no 1,000 yard wr. Year before Vick started and the year after Vick, 1,000 yards wr's.
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Oh yeah, what sport are we talking about between the U.S. and Mexico?
Amy Nelson (11:13 AM)
futbol
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
I think Vick's value for the '09 season is as a solid backup QB along with special packages and plays, as well as in the return game seeing that he operates so well in space.
Manny (Austin, Texas)
It is sad that the most popular sport in the world doesn't get much respect in the US
Amy Nelson (11:15 AM)
just the way it is...
Kyle (Cleveland, OH)
Honestly, I think the Vikes will pass on Vick for obvious reasons, Cassel due to his high price tag, and send a 3rd round pick to the Browns to take a chance on a young QB with a rocket arm in Derek Anderson. That's pretty good value for a guy who had a Pro Bowl season one year ago.
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Vick won't be a Viking as long as Childress is the coach. He's not a fan of the unconventional QB.
Steven (Marianna, PA)
Vick can't just come back and pick up where he left off, look at Jamale Lewis. It takes time.
Michael (Wickliffe, OH)
Derek Anderson had a fluke year with the Browns.....bring on Brady Quinn!!
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
So Amy, ready to address the Selena Roberts question yet?
Amy Nelson (11:20 AM)
I don't know what question you're talking about...
Brent (Overland Park, KS)
Ever since the US dropped Mexico 2-0 in the 2006 World Cup, I think they've gained the confidence to beat them anywhere. Expecially in Columbus, Ohio, where the forecast is low 30s with rain tonight. Mexico is gonna freeze.
Latch (Savannah, Ga)
I wonder what Skip would say about Vick, I'd love to here that. And we should get Amy to tell him we ALL MISS SKIP. One big vote.
Amy Nelson (11:24 AM)
yeah i don't know if it's ALL of you
Andrew (Sioux Center, IA)
Since Bre4tt Farve retired today does that mean we have to watch it all over ESPN for a week again and watch him cry?
Amy Nelson (11:24 AM)
let's hope not
Mark (nj)
Skip Who?
Amy Nelson (11:25 AM)
hah!
David Fairborn, OH
Actually, it's low 40's annd high 30's in Columbo tonight, which is a big difference from low 30's. And I'm sure Mexico has prepared. Mexico wins 3-1
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
No. One. Cares. About. Soccer.
Amy Nelson (11:26 AM)
That's. Not. True.
Jeremey(Louisville)
Abreau to the Angels, Amy what do you think his impact will be?
Amy Nelson (11:27 AM)
Nice for Angels to get someone who isn't injury prone, gets on base . They hadn't done much this offseason
Kyle (Cleveland, OH)
Abreu is such an underrated player. And for the Angels to get him for 5 million is truly a bargain from a baseball standpoint.
David Fairborn, OH
Unless the Angels play games homerun derby style, Abreu won't probably do too much.
Michael (Wickliffe, OH)
Abreu will take Garret Anderson's role as primary DH, rotating in the field to let Vlad and Torri Hunter get rest.
Habay (Pittsburgh)
I Care about soccer. and love it. It will never catch on in the states because there isn't enough action...or scandal for that matter...
Tim (Luzerne, PA)
I care about the World Cup.... just not MLS
David Fairborn, OH
US Soccer is slow and pretty boring. Watch it in other countries. Very Very exciting.
Scrooge McDuck [Los Angeles, CA]
Man am I the only one who misses football already?
Amy Nelson (11:29 AM)
not me!
Kyle (South Carolina)
How long do you think it will take for A-Rod to stop getting Boo-ed at Yankee Stadium?
Amy Nelson (11:29 AM)
will be fascinating to see what happens at home this year for him....i don't think they'll be easy on him, until he starts hitting bombs and winning games.
Chris (Plainsboro, NJ)
I just don't see how the Angels don't go for Manny...and there reasoning was garbage, because they said they were set with Juan Rivera (Juan Rivera!), yet now they sign Abreu...Manny is going to make every single team pay for not signing him
Pete (NC)
A-Rod is screwed if he does and screwed if he doesn't. If he doesn't hit, they'll boo him. If he does hit, it's because of the PEDs. It's lose/lose.
Supasize (Atl)
Who in the heck is Selena Roberts?
Amy Nelson (11:32 AM)
Have you been paying attention to the news at all the last three days?
Travis (Pontiac, IL)
this "chat" format is a joke. a chat is supposed to be instant communication between everybody...not a place for posts to be chosen by a 3rd party at random or by what they deem worthy of posting
Amy Nelson (11:33 AM)
ok Travis, well if you go by that, then we'd have disgusting "chat" items from people who think it's cool to somehow make crude jokes and use profanity. this is still a company owned by disney.
Eric (Austin, MN)
At least he came out and admited it. He didn't pull a Clemens and make himself look like a TOTAL tool.
bailey (bluefied va)
any dunk on a dukie is 10
Jason (Seattle)
the little windmill is a 7 at least
Michael (Wickliffe, OH)
