Jeremy, With $25M in cap room and 9 draft picks this year, how do you think the Steelers are set up to go for their 7th championship next year? Also, who would be a great fit for the team in the 1st round with pick no. 32?

They look great going into the off-season and have very few needs. I could actually see them trying to move up in the draft. THey need to go OT though. Maybe Britton from Arizona or Meredith from South Carolina but as we have seen there could be a OT run right in front of them.

No I think they cut him. He is not a good fit there but I still think he could revive his career. One of his struggles was going from the spread to a pro style offense but the spread is en vouge now and that at least gives him a chance to re-surface

If you (or your Dad) was coach/GM of The Raiders wouldn't you agree that a major priority of this off-season is ridding your roster of all dead weight? WR Javon Walker, DT Terdell Sands, QB Andrew Walter, C Jake Grove, LT Kwame Harris, and LB Sam Williams are among the players whose "LIFETIME" contracts need to be terminated.

Yes but if they purge they will just go get more vets. Al Davis thinks he can win now but he can't and because of that he has not been patient in the draft and when they have kept picks they have been spent on athletic prospects instead of quality players.

Yo JG, what do you think about the idea floating around to franchise Sproles? I think they should try and get a long term deal with him, if not he can walk. Use that money on other big guys and get a rb in the draft

I would not franchise him because if they do they will be keeping him at that salary because he is not a Tag and trade guy. No team is going to pay the money or give a high pick for a very good change of pace back.

Do you think the Vikes can go another year with T-Jack as QB?Should they go after a free agent like Garcia or draft a guy like Josh Freeman or Nate Davis who will be available for them? Who said Canadians dont watch the NFL? I cant stand the CFL..

If draft a QB I think it will be later in the draft. This team is SB ready at every position except QB. The rest of the pieces are there and a rookie QB is not going to be the last piece now. They should keeo T-jack and sign Garcia who knows the system.

Not if Shanny were still there. McDaniels too though if you look at the Pats they made a living off older veteran backs. The one time they went 1st rd they missed with Maroney so Denver will take a back but now in RD 1

No because Breston is still there. He had over 1,000 yards last season. It would put pressure on AZ to take a WR earlier. I know how much they love Fitz who had been around the game his whole life. Even though it is not a critical need I would be this team loves WR Brian Robieske whose dad Terry has been a long time NFL coach.

Been below average thus far. I give Lane Kiffin creidt for one thing and that is he featured the run game and not Russell. Cable will try to keep Al happy by putting Russell in the spotlight when they shoudl be running the rock

It is looking like a reality but I just don't see how the Titans can let that happen. I know they like their DL depth but they built the D around him with a lot of outside blitz pressures to funnel the back to the middle where he has been dominant.

No and he is freak but he is not going to be a stand-up player. Not sure where he was coming from because 3-4 DE's are not feature players. They are not sack guys. He needs to be in a 4-3 with a team that will move him around and occassionally stand him up.

Again where does Peppers fit. They wasted money on Justin Smith who also was not a 3-4 guy. If Suggs hits the market they will be in the mix because Singletary has a relationship there.

They are in the NFC West so they will make the playoffs but there will be nothing ELITE about them with Norv at the controls. Already starting off-season with arressts. Norv might run the loosest ship in the NFL. This team does not have the leadership or drive to be Elite.

He could come back. Even though Martz is gone they have a veteran OC in 60+ new OC Jimmy Raye who respects and likes to find roles for aging vets.

WOW. I think that is a little harsh Vince. Rookies develoo at different rates and if you look at the history of the draft the WR position is the slowest to develop.

JG with Farve out of the picture & there still being an issuse about cap space. If the Jets were to inquire about D.Anderson shouldn't they also reach out to the Benegals & inquire about C.Palmer? Yes it's more costly but if your going after a QB why not go after one of the best.

I do not think so. You have no idea what u are trading for because even if you give him a shot at QB he might end up playing receiver. I think his window has passed to develop as a QB

Nice Larry. I still think you can bring in a fiery guy for the team though. Haley will not clash with say Pioli in KC but he will keep his thumb on the team so I think there is a difference there.

very possible. They are tied at the hip though because of this team thinks they can develop Kevin Kolb they are going to be waiting for a long time and Reid does not want to go into rebuild mode.

Buffalo won't be a big player in FA. They have a coach hanging on by a thread and would not saddle the next guy with vets he wants out if they miss the playoffs. Gonzo to me seems more like hope? Call it a hunch but I am betting Gonzo the California kid does not have the Bills on his brain.

I do not think they trade Cassell. I just have a feeling they won't know on Brady for sure until camp and it might be too late by then. Easy call for Pats,,, throw on some USC defensive tape and pick one.
