I thought Kotelnik deserved the tight decision in a good fight. But I also thought Madaina fought pretty darn well and I don't think that loss hurts him too much at all. Kotelnik was supposed to fight in the US against Salita on the Calzaghe-Jones undercard but he pulled out with an injury. So maybe he will come here at some point for the right fight.

I do not agree at all. I was MUCH more impressed by his performance against Mijares, when Vic was a huge underdog and smashed a top 10 p4p fighter. Vic was a heavy favorite vs. Arce, whom everyone respected but gave little chance to as far as winning.

I suppose it would be possible but that won't happen. But I can give you all a little breaking news here in the late night chat -- the Hatton-Pacquiao fight will be on HBO PPV, not on Showtime PPV. The promoters and HBO closed their deal on Friday.

I was ringside, for example, for Larry Donald vs. Evander Holyfield and to watch Holyfield get played with and dominated was sad to see. It was sad to see Oscar get smashed to pieces by Pacquiao. Seeing Tyson, all old and shot, get hammered by Kevin McBride was a bit sad. It happens.
