Chat with Jason Smith

Smith is the top ranked OT prospect in the draft and the No. 3 overall player in the draft.
According to Smith's Scouts Inc.'s draft profile, he is "a tough, aggressive finisher. Shows good overall strength. Gives excellent effort and will play to the echo of the whistle ... Continues to improve with more experience at the OT position. However, he recognizes and reacts to pressure quickly. Shows ability to recover when caught out of position."
Send in your questions now, then join Smith on Friday at 3 p.m. ET!

Jason will be here soon!
Jason Smith (3:08 PM)
Hey everyone. Here with Jason Smith. I am happy to be here to answer anything you want to know. Sic 'em Bears!
Jordan (Slinger, WI)
What do you listen to before games to get you pumped up?
Jason Smith (3:09 PM)
I listen to Young Jeezy. Thug Motivation 101.
Mitchell Gaine (NH)
Now that you're done with school, is there one team you really disliked playing cause you thought they were a bunch of jerks?
Jason Smith (3:10 PM)
I would say all of them. We were always expected to lose, so every game I hated the other team. But I did not like the way A&M tackled, and dove at guys, as opposed to running through guys on tackles.
Dave: (Houston, Texas)
J-Smooth, as a current student at Baylor, it is pretty exciting to see a Baylor player listed at the top of all the pre-draft rankings. I was wondering if you could go back and change anything over your football career, what would it be and why?
Jason Smith (3:12 PM)
I would change the date that Robert Griffin was born and would have gotten him here my freshman year. But I would not change anything. I mean I would have liked to win more. But I would not change anything because what I went through made me who I am.
Jason (LA)
What do you think of Mel Kiper's hair?
Jason Smith (3:13 PM)
I'm not sure I paid much attention to it. Everyone's got different hair styles. I should not talk too much about it since I cannot grow hair...I got a receding hairline.
Dan (San Jose)
Hey man...guess what...you're NEVER going to have to worry about money ever again. That's got to feel pretty good, huh? Congrats.
Jason Smith (3:14 PM)
It does feel good to be able to not have to worry about where food or shelter is going to come from. I feel blessed that I can change my family's situation. So thank you and always live your dream.
Kyle (Chicago)
Have you ever jacked someone up and then had something really funny to say to them? If so, can you share?
Jason Smith (3:16 PM)
I cannot remember what I said on the field, but I am sure I have said plenty of things because I play with a lot of emotion. If I were to type it, it would need too much editing and censoring, so I won't even bother.
Peter (Utah)
Okay big man, I know everyone wants to be positive, bit what is the absolute worst part of the combine?
Jason Smith (3:17 PM)
Every day lol. The worst part was your first night there and you get into bed and fall asleep and as soon as you get your deep sleep there is a train that comes over the top of the hotel. And I went crazy and had a panic attack. The whole room was shaking.
Jake (Syracuse)
Jason, why should you be the 1st OT drafted this year?
Jason Smith (3:17 PM)
Because I am a man and I am productive.
Matt (Cali)
Would you rather pancake someone or eat some pancakes?
Jason Smith (3:18 PM)
Eat some pancakes. I love pancakes. Although I am about to eat waffle.
Matt (Austin, TX)
Smooth! Hey congrats man. But seriously...could you do me a favor and return for another year of college football? And do you hate the Longhorns as much as I do?
Jason Smith (3:19 PM)
I said after my last game and I really meant it. If I could put my life on hold and play at Baylor for five more years, and pick my life back up where it is now, I would do it. And I hate the Longhorns with a passion. I hate every other school in the Big 12 with a passion.
Ty (NYC)
Which NFL defensive linemen do you think would give you the most trouble?
Jason Smith (3:21 PM)
None of them lol. No I think all of them could, if I were not prepared. But I take pride in being prepared, so none of them.
Jason Smith (3:22 PM)
Thank you everyone for chatting with me. I really enjoyed your questions. I look forward to making you all happy with a long, prosperous career in the NFL.
