Welcome to The Show! On Wednesday, U.S. Olympian Margaret Hoelzer stops by to share her story of overcoming abuse.

Hoelzer won three medals at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. She won a bronze in the 100m backstroke and silver in the 4x100 medley relay and the 200m backstroke. Born in Alabama, Hoelzer swam for Auburn in college. She trains professionally with King Aquatic Club, and makes her home in Seattle.

Shortly after the 2008 Games, Hoelzer opened up about her story about being sexually abused as a child. She is a national spokesperson for the National Children's Advocacy Center.
