hi gang, Jay Crawford and Mike Hill host First Take today and will chat with you through the show...here are our 1st Down topics for you to chime in on: 1- your thoughts on the latest Jay Cutler development 2-What has Kentucky signed up for in getting Calipari? 3-are you impressed with the Cavs 13th win in a row?
omar roberts, NC
the best fit for cutler would be a trade to the browns for brady quinn wether cutler was there or not the quaterback has to learn a new system quinn would be a great fit because the charlie weiss system he ran at notre dame is similar to the bellichek system ran in new england wich is the system mcdaniels wants to input in denver
Bill, Greenville Pa
I think that the Broncos should trade to Detroit for their first pick and maybe a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Then sign free agent Byron Leftwich to be their QB.
Moderator (9:44 AM)
folks, be on the lookout once the show starts for our Dunk of the Week candidates, then rate all three dunks on a scale from 1-10... here are the candidates.. 1- SIXERS AT PISTONS...ANDRE IGUODALA CROSSES WALTER HERMAN AT THE TOP OF THE KEY AS HE DRIVES AND THROWS DOWN THE VICIOUS ONE HAND JAM... 2- PISTONS AT WIZARDS...RICHARD HAMILTON PASSES AHEAD TO THE SHORTER 6'0 WILL BYNUM WHO RISES FOR THE ONE HAND DUNK... 3- GRIZZLIES AT WARRIORS....OJ MAYO ON THE BREAKS DROPS THE PASS TO RUDY GAY FOR THE THUNDEROUS DUNK. GAY TAKES OFF FROM THE DOTTED AND DUNKS IT WITH AUTHORITY
Moderator (9:54 AM)
we've got special guest: Bow Wow in studio today to weigh in on 1st and Ten with Skip Bayless and judge our dunks of the week....Skip and Bow Wow are reviewing the footage right now before the show starts...Bow Wow already is suggesting we consider a few write-in candidates for dunk of the week, let us know if you have any...
brian (sandusky, ohio)
You know what they say, there is no crying in baseball, and no cry babys in Denver! Get that cry baby Cutler out of Denver!
Paul (Indianapolis, IN)
The Jay Cutler story makes me wish more quarterbacks in the NFL had Manning and Brady's heart, passion and maturity that Cutler obviously lacks. Grow up, you are an NFL quarterback.
Joe (SouthPhilly)
Why would Cleveland want to trade for Cutler? With Quinn and Anderson they don't need one, They have yet to see what they have in Quinn. Denver needs to do what's best for the Broncos and not what's best for Cutler or anyone else. Take the best offer
Wingo (Deptford, NJ)
Is a 17-20 quarterback as a NFL starter worth a first round pick? Please.
brian (Sandusky, Ohio)
Has anyone mentioned Bus Cook's role in all of this Cutler talk? He was/is Brett Favre's agent and we all know what happened with him over the past two years in Green Bay. I just think that Bus has a little more to do with this then what is being reported....
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
So many fans calling Cutler a cry baby but if your team needs a QB tell me you don't want him on your team. I'll take the whining in Minnesota if it means going to the Super Bowl.
Josh, PA
Rob is spot on! If this was T.O. then people would be putting this all on Owens. Cutler is getting a free pass for acting like a little child. Cutler is exacly what is wrong with pro athletes. Pockets of a rockstar and attitude of an infant.
June (Denver)
When did Jay Cutler become such a baby? and people wonder why the hot girls dont date qbs
Joe (South Lyon, MI)
The Jay cutler sitaution hs to end. Cutler needs to be traded soon. I think the lions can pull it off easily for the 20th pick and drew stanton.
stephen (kcmo)
With Cutler definitely leaving the AFC west does this leave the confrence wide open?
Shawn ((Burlington, CO))
Jay Cutler should be traded to the Bears for Kyle Orton, 1st round and 2nd round pick. This is the best for both teams.
Moderator (10:29 AM)
so what does everyone think of the dunk of the week candidates? 1-10 ratings... 1- ANDRE IGUODALA 2- WILL BYNUM 3- RUDY GAY send in your votes...Bow Wow and Skip will make theirs later in the show...
Christopher Jones Butler, Al
I am amazed that people questions Cutler's heart. The man is battling with a serious condition and all he wants is his coach to be honest with him. Jay Cutler did give him a chance and the results was another arguement. Nobody seems to remember that conversation. Also, I believe that "Mr. Miami" Wade has the swagger King James is looking for.
Xavier, Brooklyn, NY
Jay Cutler my very well be a baby; however, McDaniels' should be held accountable as well. Here is a guy who may have single handily destroy a franchise without coaching a game.
Denny, Lancaster Pa
Being a Univ. of Kentucky fan, I couldn't be happier to have Coach Cal aboard!! However, I also feel kinda bad for Memphis. If Kentucky had lost a coach under the same circumstances, I don't think I'd be very happy about it.
Matt (Philly)
Quarterbacks are like shiny objects, they're vastly overvalued. Take away Eli's four game run in the 2007 playoffs, and he's just a quarterback who's thrown 74 picks in 73 games.
Ryan Jacksonvile, FL
Although I agree with Skip, I understand Lebron celebrating, my favorite player Joe Johnson constantly goes under the radar because he lacks "swagger"
Darren (Kokomo, IN)
I sit on the fence when it comes to LeBron James. I don't like the big celebrations after every good play he makes but at the same time I know that society is not the same as it was in Jordan's day. I think if he showed a little more maturity in not celebrating so often it would make it more effective when he does celebrate.
Moderator (10:31 AM)
2nd down topic for you guys to weigh in on: Are the Charlotte Bobcats making the plaoffs? They're currently 1 game out of the 8 spot
pat ( salem,mass. )
the jay cutler story just shows that pro athletes are at times a joke. i work in the supermarket business. and if they say that next week i have to go work in another store they would laugh at me and say your fired!!! plus the fact that montana and farve got traded, what makes cutler think he isnt.they have won superbowls what has cutler won yet. it's laughable.
David, (Greensboro, NC)
Could Peppers and Delhomme with maybe a pick or two get Jay to Carolina? I love Jake, but I'm thinking with our running game and defense taking the pressure off Jay to have to attempt to win every game without these, maybe he could scale down, play knowing he has support around him, and take Carolina to the next level. Jake's zip is gone leaving him vulnerable to excellent playoff corners, but he could work in Josh's system. Skip, make it happen!
D.Haygood of Kansas city ks
skip its like you try to find something to you can knot king james on now you have ran out of things to pick on him with now you said he needs to grow up well skip you need to grow up the man is having fun playing basketball its apart of the game everyone these it everyone championship or not jordan did it with the tongue its old now skip leave him alone
james (Kannapolis, NC)
I can care less what happens to Jay Cutler, as long as BRADY QUINN gets to chance to actually start his NFL career. Yes, I've been a life time Notre Dame Football fan...but it's crazy for me to see Brady still waiting for the chance to earn the starting position at QB. He was Notre Dame's starter for 3 3/4 of his time at Notre Dame. Wherever he gets to play...the fans will the thankful. Hey PANTHERS...get rid of JAKE and get a FRANCISE QB BRADY QUINN..I think Brady Quinn would quit Football if he had 6 turnovers in a playoff game!
Joey (Arcadia, MI)
The Bobcats will make the playoffs. Detroit is gonna slide to the 9 spot and the Bobcats will move up to the 7, leaving Chicago in the 8 spot. The bobcats have a nice win streak going and some up and coming young players that will get the bobcats to the promise land!
Chris (Atl, GA)
Nope.. Theyll lose five out of their final 8 including to the current no. 8 seed, Chicago.. Theres always next year
Josh, PA
The Charlotte Bobcats could make the playoffs, but they'd still be irrelevant.
Scallinno (Florence, South Carolina)
Tell Skip that after Kobe sends Lebron home in the finals, the Cavs will not be doing that stuff next year. They'll be "more focused" (as they say).
Chris (Milford, CT)
No way are the bobcats making the playoffs. Too many hard games left. Maybe next year but not this year.
Brian (Sandusky, Ohio)
I don't care what Skip says, I blame Bus Cook. He is a media hungry agent. First with Brett and now with Jay. Lookout Draft QB's Bus Cook will ruin a good thing for you too.
Ray (Galveston)
So the thing with Skip is the generational gap. LeBron has swagger, and he can back it up.. Skip wont even give him credit for his team having the best record in the NBA.. And he said Kobe never did the showboating? So why did he change is number to "One over Jordan" thats not showboating
Alex (Washington, DC)
With all the teams trying to get in on Jay Cutler, the team I would like to see get involved is Philadelphia. With Philly's lack of trying to get talent to surround Donovan McNabb, perhaps it would be time for him to leave and start over on a different team. So why not trade Cutler for McNabb? It would be a win-win situation in which both players start over and there would be no need to look for another QB to replace the one your trading.
G-DUBB
BOW WOW...in your words "stop hating" Charlotte Bobcats are somethin special....
Craig(Buffalo,NY)
Hey Bow Wow, yes, Charlotte is a basketball team and they are going to the playoffs. Everyone laughed last year when Atlanta sneaked in and then they took Boston to game 7
matt (new britain,ct)
The bobcats challenging the cavaliers??? Are you insane skip?!?!
Ken, Ohio
Skip stop smokin!!!!!!!!We would love to see the 'Cats in the first round. When was the last time they beat the Cavs? Have they ever?
g-dubb(charlotte nc)
bow wow...stop hatin...on the Bobcats..we revoke your pass to play in Charlotte....
Moderator (10:45 AM)
no one's voting on dunk contest yet?
Dan (Pittsburgh, PA)
Rudy Gay gets a 1. Nobody even contested it. It was a very vanilla dunk.
Joey Blayze (Columbus, Ohio)
Loves First Take, but what's up with Reynoldsburg's own Bow Wow? Billionaire Boys Club shirt and Ice Cream Hat with Adidas? C'mon dude, ya talked about swagger before! Quit your clashin! ha!
Amy (Laconia, NH)
They all get 1's. Pretty average dunks that you could see in just about any game. Uncontested dunks. 1's all around.
bob bradshaw
Jay being a Cleveland Sports fan why haven't you worn a Cavs tie or soemthing to show support of your Cavaliers..bob season ticket holder..I will call the Cavs and get one sent to you if you don't have it.
Jay Crawford (10:50 AM)
send it in bob! i'll wear it when the win the title!
Geo (New Jersey)
as for Bow wow saying it's all about Self Promotion.. Thats whats wrong with the USA today. All these 2o somethings and younger think the world revoles around them It DOESN'T....
David (RI)
Brady Quinn was only drafted because he played at Notre Dame, he will never will a meaningful game in the NFL just like he never won a meaningful game in college.
Chris (Chester VA)
I think Skip has a point on the Bobcats. Look at last year everyone thought that the Celtics would sweep the Hawks but the Hawks took the Celtics to game 7 in a close series. This year could be the same.
Jay Crawford (10:51 AM)
geo, it's a different time, and different people living in it. having a college student and high schooler i cant believe how much technology has changed the people. sad, but true
Josh, PA
All of those dunks were weak, something from the McDonalds All-American dunk contest should win.
matt (new britain,ct)
rudy gay gets a 10,the pass and the slam, amazing. everyone else gets a 7,just average, nothing special.
Chris (Caribou,ME)
Moderator, where are my comments?
Jay Crawford (10:52 AM)
there you go chris...go
Andy (Kansas)
Iggy was by far the best
frank k
dunk contest. iggy dunk-9 bynum-7 rudy-9
Adam (MIddleville, NY)
I think it's funny how everyone is still counting out MSU vs UConn, Skip what do you think about it I'm a big State fan and saw them beating Louisville, can't wait to see them upset 2 more #1's on there way to a title.
Moderator (10:53 AM)
so far we've gotten a 10 for Rudy Gay's dunk and a 1 for Rudy Gay's dunk....someone want to build a consensus for one or the other?
matt (new britain,ct)
I'm 20 and I still don't get twitter,haha
Moderator (10:53 AM)
matt! give it a try.
Chris (Lancaster, Pa)
No Josh Smith, No Vote! lol
Kevin Suber Decatur GA
Being a Cav's fan is know reason for him to commit a fashion violation by wearing a Cav's tie. Bow Wow just spoke about swagger and that would show none.
Drew Cecala (Bethlehem, PA)
Haha, like I said.. Dunks are dunks! I'd rather see a clutch contested jumper, in someone's face.
Will (West Virginia)
The bobcats in the playoffs angainst the Cavs? We are not paying money to go to the circus! With all respect to the Bobcat organization...this would be a waist of money and time.
Moderator (10:54 AM)
hey kevin. im 43, no pro sports titles. if the cavs win, the tie isnt a fashion statement. its a lifestyle statement!
Boosta Wash, DC
Dunk of the week is A.I.2 aka A.I. square
tedy blessed (arkansas)
Geno Auriemma is the uconn coach. He is without a doubt the coach of perfection. every2 or 3years he does it again. yea were are my comments also
Jason (PA)
Iggy def was the best. They are all similar but he brought the house down with that.
aDaM G. (Tampa, FL)
Jay Crawford get your behind to Tampa so you can lose in Home Run Derby
Moderator (10:55 AM)
adam, bring it! set it up, im there. hit 3 of 15 pitches out saturday. btw, metal bats are allowed! im 43
Valerie (San Diego)
I think Jay Cutlers spoiled personality is starting to take flight.I am a Bolts fan and was upset when Rivers took the brunt of the blame for the feud in the final 2007 game. After the game this year Cutler had negative comments about his defense and I think they're thanking McDaniles for getting him out of there. Just wait Skip you will see as time goes on he might be a great QB... but he is not a team player!
chris (nac,tex)
i dont know why i even try my comments never show up.
Moderator (10:55 AM)
there yo u go chris...keep fighting
matt (new britain,ct)
I actually did just sign up for it,I have gone to the dark side.

aDaM G. (Tampa, FL)
Thats cool I'm 24 I have Man Ram power!!
Moderator (10:56 AM)
lol adam. bring it.
Mike (Chicago, IL)
What will happen to Jay Cutler if he's traded to another team? Skip can't have his back forever. Sure he's got the talent, but it takes a real mental toughness and swagger (there ya go Bow) to win in the NFL. Jay Cutler just took a step back in my book!
Moderator (10:56 AM)
skip loves him some jay cutler. its a vandy thing.
Jason (Phoenix)
The cavs may make the finals since boston is not healthy, and play the LAKERS Bow U say the cavs will win well if im right the cavs do have 1 loss and thats against who oh yea the LAKERS remember the LAKERS dont care if they have home court WE on a mission
Moderator (10:57 AM)
good point jason

what time does the chat close?
Moderator (10:57 AM)

Hey Moderator, where's my NHL comment
Moderator (10:57 AM)
there
Steven (Las Vegas)
Where do we go to vote on the dunk contest?
Moderator (11:01 AM)
right here Steven...give me your 1-10 scores
Brent (Philadelphia,PA)
As much as I love Donavan Mcnabb. Trading him for Jay Cutler is a no brainer in the big picture. This is still a business and Cutler's got 7 years and a better arm than Mcnabb. Sorrry Donavan we still love you.
Roland Washington DC
I give the bynum dunk a 6.5
Scott (Colorado Springs)
I think WILL BYNUM had the best dunk I would give him a 8, he looked like a mini superman, because there is only one superman. Anyone that dunks on my team gets a 1, so iggy gets a 1. Rudy Gay's dunk was so-so, he gets a 4. Bow Wow please give Skip Bayless a lesson on scoring dunks, I think he gives low scores because he jealous of people who can dunk.
Bryan (Jackson nj)
Since there is no link, I vote for Gay as the #1 dunk. The other 2 are not worthy.
Moderator (11:10 AM)
no link Bryan...just vote as you did...you're in
Mike(Chicago, IL)
1. Bow, good music. 2. Jay, You da man! 3. Skip, are you really Simon Cowell ?
brian (sandusky, ohio)
I'd love to see Bow Wow dunk so we can rate him!
Chris (Milford, CT)
Rudy Gay Gets a 6 it was a good dunk but its Rudy Gay he could do so much better. Iggy get a 9 great dunk best of the 3. And Bynum gets a 4 it was just a average dunk.
Mike Hill (11:11 AM)
What's up my people....let's chat.
Mike Hill (11:13 AM)
Gary...what's wrong, my man. Why you sounding so angry?
JayW Cleveland, Ohio
Skip keeps saying Jay Cutler was a pro bowler. Does he forget Derek Anderson was a pro bowler the year before. Is he great to? Cmon Skip get real. Jay Cutler has not accomplished anything. He couldn't even win the worst division in football.
qdspartan (Detroit, MI)
That Bynum dunk by far blows the rest out of the water. Reminds me a little of the great Dominique Wilkins himself. I give it an 8. First dunk a 7 and the sorry Rudy but you get a 5. That was average at best
Mike Hill (11:14 AM)
Derek...He's a huge baby!!
Mike Hill (11:14 AM)
Bow is looking clean, Matt....I like Pharrel gear....Star Trek!!
Mike Hill (11:15 AM)
Roland...I had North Carolina beating Michigan State from the start and I'm sticking with it. LOL
Moderator (11:15 AM)
some first down topics coming up: who's gonna win UNC/Villanova matchup Saturday night? Phil Jackson defends Andrew Bynum's appearance at the Playboy mansion...whats your take?
Lugo (Lynn, MA)
Rudy Gay wins and gets an 8. These other people voting are ridiculous, its not what the person c an do its the best out of the ones that you've shown us. WOW!
Buddy (Fredericktown, Ohio)
I couldn't agree more with Rob regarding Jay Cutler. Honestly, what is all the fuss about. Because he made a Pro Bowl? Didn't Derek Anderson make a Pro Bowl as well. I wouldn't touch him...let him suffer by keeping him in Denver or by sending him to Detroit.
rick atlanta georgia
i agree with the panel, but my thing is has mcdainels poisned any other super star from coming to the broncos because of his attitude towards jay cutler and the mocking of jay we've seen him do?
Steve (Phx, AZ)
the Arizona Cardinals will gladly take Jay Cutler! They would give up Matt Leinart and maybe Anquan Boldin to sweeten the deal...then they would also take Eddie Royal! What do you say Broncos????
Jdub Indianapolis IN
Its a shame that coach Cal is thought of as a great coach! He has yet to win in a big conference. This guy is able to bring in talent and thats it!!! Coach Izz wins with less!!! 5 final 4 in 10yrs now thats coaching!!!!!!!!!
Spencer Smith (Ohio)
Bow wow would be raw to see hime dunk
corey (louisiana)
i'll go with rbynum for the best dunk as a 7.........btw tell skip when football season rolls around, GET INTO a fantasy football league, I was just like him thinking fantasy was crap and all it took was ONE season, now I am hooked
Jon I.(Hamlet NC)
It doesn't look good for Villanova in the Final Four. They got the short end of the stick on Saturday going up against the well oiled machine of the North Carolina Tar Heels....SORRY
Mike Hill (11:19 AM)
What's good yall...thanks for the love.....what's up with the Mike...first time my loud behind could be heard. Live television is a trip!! LOL
Mike Hill (11:20 AM)
I should say..."couldn't" be heard.
Mike Hill (11:21 AM)
He's good at Mizzou, Stephen...I think coaches should stick around and build something where they are....the coach can make the program...I don't believe a program makes a coach.
Mike Hill (11:21 AM)
Thanks Brian!! I wish you would tell my wife and kids that. LOL
Mike Hill (11:21 AM)
Mike...in chicago...can you REALLY BLAME Bynum for going to the playboy mansion?
Mike Hill (11:22 AM)
Drew...I'm FOCUSED MANNNNNNN!!
chris brentwood NY
Bynum visiting the play boy mansion. That is just great if u ask me. Why not. there is nothing goin on there that he, as a professional athlete, hasnt seen already. I feel like after u get to a certain status the playboy mansion is something you have to do.LOL
Mike(Chicago, IL)
Bynum, at the Playboy Mansion? I'd be there too if my knees kept my out of the league basically for 2 straight years. Sportsnation poll: Who will play more games in career, Andrew Bynum or Greg Oden?
Kevin Suber Decatur GA
UNC is going to win easily. It took one of the worst shooting nights in Duke history and Henderson's worst game ever to get past Duke. They are a carbon copy of Duke and rely too much on the outside shot. The ACC is still home of the best teams in the NCAA
Mike Hill (11:23 AM)
I LOVE FIRST TAKE!! Best show on ESPN
Hb (Denver)
I vote for Iggy (7) I think it was the most explosive.
Jason (PA)
Im pretty sure nova just beat pitt so im ready to see them give the tarheels a run for their money
Jeff (Michigan)
If UNC doesn't destroy Villanova by pounding them inside, I will be quite surprised. Villanova could pull it off though, they have been a cinderella type team. UNC by 20 is my prediction.
Will (West Virginia)
Why is Jackson defending Bynum? That was a playboy playmate he was raising up in the air...not a championship trophy! The man is injured and his actions are not part of rehab!
Mike Hill (11:24 AM)
ryan...I had North Carolina over MSU from the start of my brackets and that's the way I'm staying...so I say MSU over UCONN
Dennis (Lancaster Pa)
'Nova will not only beat UNC Saturday, they will defeat MSU in one of the real classic finals ever played!!....in my humble opinion.
chris brentwood Ny
I think that UNC is good and they are doin great but for some reason i think they are over rated. I has pitt beating UNC..and nova took out my pit so they (nova)can def beat UNC...i say upset
Chris (Lancaster, Pa)
Why do college coaches always look to add on to a storied franchise' history instead of creating thier own else where? Cal was onto to something in Memphis. Why give that up. Hasn't he paid any attention to what Charlie Weiss is going through at Notre Dame?
Mike Hill (11:25 AM)
much respect, Bryan...can you tel my boss...I need some extra money....times and the economy are bad!!
Mike Hill (11:25 AM)
Bow is about 5'7 with a lotta heart though aDaM!!
Josh, PA
Everyone should defend Bynum at the mansion. Would any of us deny invitation to the place? He's human. A very rich, lucky human.
Drew (Miami)
Whats a better way to heal a sprained knee than hoisting a playboy bunny on your shoulders? More power to him
mike alamosa, Co
If Cutler is not that good then why is half the league salavating to get him.....by the way Elways record for the first 3 years of his career was that good either, but the talent was there....just like Cutler
Mike (Chicago, IL)
Mike Hill, thanks for the love, we should probably go to the Playboy mansion and see what's up ourselves!
Bob (Meadville PA)
its amazing that with this whole delema cutler is still the idiot who said he is better then elway
Mike Hill (11:30 AM)
he has along ways to go before he proves that bob.
Stephen (kc mo)
I can't believe I just saw a bronco fan compare Cutler to Elway. Elway wasthe biggest Chief killer of them all
Shane (Mobile, Alabama)
I am a huge Broncos fan, and an even bigger SEC nut, but I think trading Jay Cutler for another big name QB is a good thing. Skip you have to admit in the clutch he never gets it done, in the NFL or in college. Broncos have never made the playoffs and what happened this past season is horrible!!! He's (Cutler) always throwing out the John Elway references, there's no way Elway's Broncos would not have made the playoffs that big of a lead over the Chargers.
jbeatzz (harrisburg, pa)
you know i cant figure out skips love affair with jay cutler...the man slams lebron constantly, when lebron has done nothing but relift a dead franchise and is on the cusp of winning a title...jay cutler hasnt won anything this decade. there has to be something more than a coincidence in the fact that hes a proven loser and cry baby...if he was so good why was he even at vandy in the first place? can somebody say the next jeff george?
Adam (Michigan)
UNC is too good. State is good, but can they play with UConn for all 40 minutes?
Steve (Alpena, Mi)
what up Mike...
Steve (Phx, AZ)
UConn and Unc will be the championship game!
Bob (Meadville pa)
wassup mike great tie
Stephen (kc mo)
Mike, Good decision for Mike anderson to stay at Mizzou or should he have waited for the MEmphis offer?
Drew (Miami)
Mike stay focused...
Mike Hill (11:35 AM)
norm...what's happening, my dude?
Boosta Wash, DC
Boooooooo! AI won that!
Brian (Newburyport,MA)
Mich St. can match up a little at C and PG with Conn, but I think Stanley Robinson is the X-factor that Mich St cannot account for. Kind of like how Wilcox was for Maryland when they won it all.
Scott Beard (Louisville, KY )
Id like to see Villanova come out in the Final Four...represent the Big East and prove to all those nay-sayers and acc-lovers that the BIG EAST is the best conference. Villanova will have a hard task ahead of them but i think the little team that could can beat the giants who think they should win because they are who they are
Mike (Chicago, IL)
Jordan with Bobcats? Too bad his real team the BULLS will keep him out of the playoffs. Larry Brown is the man, but I guess go Vinny!
Joe (Philly)
Nova beat Pitt cause of foul shooting. Memphis lost last year to kansas cause of foul shooting. Colleges should start recruiting good foul shooters. seems to be working
Thomas (NC)
Scott.....WHAT nay-sayers!? All the analysts have said the big east is the best.
Kevin Suber Decatur GA
Seeing Cleaves makes me think, you guys should start a where are they now segment. What happened to players like Ricky Moore, Randolph Childress, God Shamgod, Shawn Dockery etc....
Jay Crawford (11:47 AM)
kevin, i like the idea.s its been discussed many times. i hope we do it.
Scott Beard (Louisville, KY )
Thomas...I am talking about the Nay-Sayers who say ACC is the best from top to bottom. Putting the ACC on UNC's back. Everyone believes that just because UNC is having a wonderful year, they think the whole ACC is phenomenal. I think the first round of the tourney showed they arent, but I still hear it from one of the acc-bias sportscasters every night
Terrance (Savannah,Ga)
UNC is in trouble. Tyler Hanbrough(the most over rated player in NCAA Basketball history) will disappear again when he faces Cunningham like he always does when he plays someone with talent and just as physical and active as him. No one can stop Lawson but i believe Reynolds can slow him down a tad bit which is all that is needed and villanova's defense and bench player will lead them to victory
Jeff (Michigan)
Hopefully there's a segment on Mo Vaughn, you might catch him eating a hot dog, or a counselor at a camp.
Scott (Colorado Springs)
Hey Kevin and Jay, That is a great idea, listening to Cleaves made me think about Michgan State a decade ago. Cleaves had the biggest heart in that championship game and I had been wondering what he was doing now.
Bryan (Jackson nj)
Bow is Correct...I agree 100% that Tyler H is Overrated.
chris brentwood ny
THANK U BOW WOW...FINALLY SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME. IVE BEEN SAYING HANS IS OVERRATED FOR THE LOOOOONGEST
Mike Hill (11:54 AM)
I'm so hyped right now....like I really need some red bull. LOL
Thomas (NC)
You can call Hans overrated all you want but there isn't one of you who wouldn't want him on your team.
Mike Hill (11:55 AM)
Mike...I go back and forth but RIGHT NOW...I've got Lebron as MVP.
Kevin Suber Decatur GA
Push the idea Jay I think people would like it. We can start with Ricky Moore, and William Avery. I'm from Augusta and went to school with both and both are great guys outside of basketball.
Dennis (Lancaster Pa)
Just a quick comment about Andrew Bynam photo...NOT ACCEPTABLE!!.....If you're too hurt to play ball, then you're too hurt to play with bunnies!!!
Scott Beard (Louisville, KY )
Chris...I have been saying Hansborough is overrated since he started receiving hype around midseason last year. ESPN jumps on the Bandwagon of some pathetic player every two years or so and ruins them. Look at Reddick from Duke a few years back...where is he now...and I would take Griffin or Blair or Suton over Hansborough any day
Shane (Mobile, Al)
BOW really glad to see another Dukie on the set. In 2 seasons with Curry on the team now look out nation, DUKE will be back!!!!
John (Culver City, CA)
Tyler Hansbrough will be the next Mark Madsen in the NBA.
