Heinz (4:00 PM)
Thanks for all the fans who gave us support at the Meadowlands.
Josh Pagan (port jeff station)
How did you get into gaming? and how did you find out about MLG?
Heinz (4:01 PM)
I found out about it through a friend, and I watched a lot of the 2006 TV show and started playing MLG settings and got addicted.
joe, falls church, va
are you named after the ketchup?
Heinz (4:01 PM)
Heinz is actually my last name, so that is where the name comes from.
Kyle Parker, Gulfport, Mississippi
How was the transition of teams, are you glad you decided to join up with SK?
Heinz (4:02 PM)
I am definitely glad. My new teammates are a lot of fun and we just won an event. It is very exciting this year.
Tim
Will you remember John Madden more for football broadcasting or the video game?
Heinz (4:03 PM)
Well I played a lot of the Madden series, but I also watched MNF, and no one will ever forget the BOOM! call outs.
joe, falls church, va
were you excited to win meadowlands? how are you preparing for dallas?
Heinz (4:05 PM)
I was definitely excited and it is great. As for Columbus, we plan on LANing twice , so we are not slacking at all.
Jesse, Winfield, Ks
What is the thing that gets you pumped most for a tournament?
Heinz (4:06 PM)
It would be walking into a venue and you see what it looks like. The main stage really stands out, because everyone is watching and the pressure is off because you have to perform.
Richie Heinz: Columbus, Ohio
Is it true clutch taught you a trick with the rockets on pit that baisicly won you at least two pit games throught the tournament?
Heinz (4:07 PM)
Totally opposite from the truth.
Fergus Ireland
First of all congrats on Meadowlands. You all played amazing. My question is will Triggers Down be the first team to win back-to-back tournaments and how do you intend to do that?
Heinz (4:09 PM)
Thanks for the congrats. I think we will be the first to win two in a row. There is no slacking in this team. You will not see the same inconsistencies in this team that you saw last year.
Ty Quillon, Orlando, FL
Is there any specific team that you want to beat the most?
Heinz (4:09 PM)
Well beating any of the top teams is great, but I would enjoy beating Instinct or Final Boss the most.
Alec PA
Were you surprised by your placing in meadowlands?
Heinz (4:10 PM)
No, not at all. We put the practice in and we knew we were the best team there. We had to focus. We were not focusing on Saturday but then we brought it on Sunday.
Billy Meeks (Brooklyn, Ohio)
Congrats on winning your 1st event!!!! How Many Hours Do You Play Today and what did you get with the prize money. See Ya At Columbus!!
Heinz (4:12 PM)
Thanks. As far as hours, we put in 6-8 hours before and the week before we go 2-3 hours. As for the money, I will probably save most of it.
Jonas, Trondheim, Norway
I've been gaming for a couple of years now but I haven't gotten any better. Do you think it is possible to improve a lot after not having improved in a very long time? My english obviously suck
Heinz (4:13 PM)
There is always room for improvement. As long as you keep practicing and learning from your mistakes there is always room for imporvement. It is also not about how much time you put in, but about what you do with the time you have.
Ed (Omaha,NE)
Heinz, as a member of tD, how does it feel to be that much better than the 2nd placed team for the 1st event of the year? I mean 6-1 is pretty beasty, can you pinpoint why you guys are that much better?
Heinz (4:15 PM)
I think we are better than Instinct by our raw skill. We felt as long as we got to the finals we would win.
Heinz (4:16 PM)
Want to give a shout out to my sister Becca and my two friends Wes and Korey, and of course my team.
