Chat with Michael Crabtree

Crabtree earned all-American honors in both seasons he played at Texas Tech, after red-shirting in 2006. He scored 41 TDs in his two seasons. In 2007, he tied for fourth all-time with 134 receptions, while gaining 1,962 yards. This past year, he had 97 catches for 1,165 yards.
According to Crabtree's Scouts Inc.'s draft profile, he "snatches the ball out of the air and can make waist-high catches without breaking stride. Times jumps well, can elevate over defenders and shows outstanding body control in the air. Uses frame to shield defenders from the ball and can make tough catches in traffic."
Recently, Crabtree started working with Subway, joining the ranks of Michael Strahan, Tony Parker, Michael Phelps, Ryan Howard and Kimmie Meissner. Hey what's up?
Joe (Ny)
Do you follow any of the mock drafts? What do you think of Todd McShay predicting Maclin will be taken ahead of you?
Michael Crabtree (12:38 PM)
I do not follow it at all. Too busy doing other things. I actually think Maclin is a good player but everyone has their own opinion.

Most wide receivers do not have much of an impact their first year. Why will you?
Michael Crabtree (12:40 PM)
It's football man, you have to be an athlete and want to make an impact. You can't go in there and think you'll make an impact. I'm a guy who wants to make in impact.
Matt (Oklahoma)
If you are not the first WR taken in the draft, what will you do to the team(s) that passed you over for another WR for the rest of your career?
Michael Crabtree (12:41 PM)
It will be exciting; I want them to follow me the whole way. THEY WILL PAY.
Tim (Lubbock)

Complete hypothetical here, if you could catch passes from either Sanchez or Stafford in the NFL, which of the two would you pick?
Michael Crabtree (12:42 PM)
I like them both. I will catch them both at the same time. I have to work on catching two passes at the same time.
