Soviet is here!
Chris (Old Bridge, New Jersey)
Hey Soviet, just wondering how all the team swapping has affected your game play on each team.
Soviet (4:00 PM)
I didn't feel too comfortable with Carbon at any point. But I feel really comfortable with the new team.
Cody B. (Lakeland, FL)
Soviet, BTH had an amazing run in Meadowlands, What are you guys expecting in Ohio?
Soviet (4:01 PM)
It's hard to answer that question. All I can expect is 100% from my team. It's hard to predict a placing.
how do you choose what team you want to be on since alot of teams are looking to acquire you?
Soviet (4:01 PM)
I watch a lot of VOD. I watched Believe the Hype. I just went with what felt good. I think with them, my style fit well.
Gphreak (The great england land)
do you think you could take most players 1v1 in halo 3 including karma. ps do you live in russia?
Soviet (4:02 PM)
No, I do not. The only reason I was good at 1v1 in Halo 2 was because I practiced. But I don't do that in Halo 3, so I'd probably stink.
TJ (Emo, Ontario)
What is your schedule like while practicing before tournaments? How many hours a day do you practice, and what playlists do you practice in?
Soviet (4:03 PM)
It matters on the tournament on how comfortable I feel. I dont like to practice too much without my team. Unless I have some stuff to work on as an individual. Otherwise, I practice a good amount.
Ben Ratliff (Fairmount, IN)
Why is it so hard for a player of your potential constantly not be able to be on a top team?
Soviet (4:05 PM)
When you're on a top team, you feel more comfortable and you don't feel as much pressure. Youjust feel way more confident on a top team. I think that will be the only difference.
Lance (Texarkana, Texas)
First off congrats on Carbon.. But about Instinct.. any hard feelings with you and the guys?
Soviet (4:05 PM)
No, I love those guys. It was just a decision. I just don't like Neighbor.
Daniel From Miami, Florida
What other teams offered you a spot prior to joining BtH?
Soviet (4:06 PM)
Not a lot of teams were going after me. I was trying to form my own team with Karma and Naded. But not a lot of teams were going after me.
Jacob (Port St. Lucie,Florida)
Hey Soviet I have 2 questions: How are you meshing with Believe the Hype? and Are you Russian?
Soviet (4:07 PM)
Very well. I mesh very well with this team because they know how to have fun with Halo and they know how to run around and have a good time instead of being serious. I think I will mesh well with that.
Do you think Carbon was holding you back? (you're miles better than the others, but Shockwave is sick)
Soviet (4:08 PM)
Carbon holding me back? No. I don't think they were holding me back. It was more of trying something out and it wasn't working out.
Eric (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
What are your thoughts on the new gametype on the circuit, Lockdown Ball? Good luck in Colombus!
Soviet (4:09 PM)
I enjoy it a lot. It's a map that uses a lot of teamwork and a lot of flanking.
Some dramatic team changing since Vegas. In your opinion what happened?
Soviet (4:10 PM)
My opinion is it's hard to be the best team. Every team wants to be the best teams instead of one of the best. Teams are always trying to switch out teammates that are weak and not allowing them to be the best. I disagree with the whole team changing thing, but I think that's how it's going to be for a while.
Vlad (Moscow, Russia)
Do you think MLG would ever do a tournament in Russia? How cool would that be! Thanks for your time.
Soviet (4:11 PM)
That would be really cool. I would love to do that. Hopefully it gets that big. I think everyone hopes it gets that big.
Ty (Pittsburg PA)
Soviet, if you could play any person in a 1v1, who would it be and why.
Soviet (4:12 PM)
I would play Hysteria, just because I think he's a really great player. I've never played against him 1v1 and I think I would like to.
Soviet (4:12 PM)
Thanks for all of your support! Keep following me. Hopefully this team will be good.
