Lakers won last night but that was old kobe for sure. he needs to pass more and shoot less if they want to win this series.
Michael (KY)
Good Morning Dana, Jay, Michael, and whoever else decides to drop in!
Ara (Los Angeles CA)
The only thing that would have made the Lakers victory last night better is if the Lake Show had beat down the Cavs and LeBron.
Moderator (10:03 AM)
who do you guys blame on Orlando's side for the loss?
sean from da 808
hello guys...hey skip why is it that everyone is saying that the lakers killed and outplayed the magics. it wasnt the lakers that won...it was the magic that lost. all game they had open looks but missed and easy layups that missed to.
Cedric (Memphis TN)
Hey what's up gang,Please let Skip throw Stan Van Gundy under the bus after he kills LeBron some more today.
Umor ( Detroit)
I'm disgusted with the RED WINGS. they play one period the first. and then into a jr hockey team in front of my eyes. Lidstrom 3 give aways. Mr. Norris played lost half the time. Helm and holstorm where the only two that showed up to play. oh I'm sorry. So DID THE PENS. STANLEY CUPS ARE GIVEN, THEY'RE TAKEN. WINGS WAKE UP.
lawrence stowe vt
Bynum and gasol bothered dwight for sure
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
The Lakers simply did what everyone should have done thoughout the playoffs, they hammered him constantly with their bigmen
Moderator (10:06 AM)
not every team has enough bigs to take all those fouls
john- pc bch,fl
I blame Jack Nicholson.
Kanyon (Huntington WV)
I blame Van Gundy. he needed to use jammer nelson more and also should have used gortat more. plus he needs to double Kobe every time he get's the ball
jason thomas (Huntsville AL)
After last nights game, I think it's safe to say Lebran VS. Kobe would have been a HUUUUGE disapointment for Cleveland.
Cedric (Memphis TN)
Kobe took 37 shots to get 40 points. That's not good. Orlando played scared, didn't make shots, and just didn't defend being one of the best defensive teams all year. If Kobe is gonna take 37 shots every game to beat Orlando, and Orlando doesn't stink it up this bad again, the Lakers will lose.
Brian(Dover)
The entire Orlando squad is to blame.....they simply did not show up.
Jeremiah (Bolivar,NY)
thanx Jameer for completely throwin this team's chemistry off. you were not there when this team made he finals. jameer however was there when they sat at home for two postseasons in a row
Dwayne Washington D.C.
To me Kobe Bryant is still the best player in the NBA and he showed why last night now hopefully he can carry us to a 15th championship. Oh and I bet Lebron is just getting sick to his stomach just watching the Lakers in the finals and he is not in it.
Moderator (10:07 AM)
Dwayne, who's "us", how many points you score last night?
Adam G (Tampa, FL)
I blame no one for this loss, except the Orlando Magic nerves
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
what happened to the Magic's 3-pt. shooters?
Brian (Michigan)
I blame it on every Magic not named Dwight Howard.
Moderator (10:08 AM)
Brian, you're letting Superman off the hook?
Viva
Anyone see that new LeBron commercial where Lil'Dez was clowning him for not making the Finals. " Don't feel bad LeBron it only took Mike 7 years to get one Sir Charles doesn't even have one" Hilarious!
Brian(Dover)
Kanyon....I agree. Double Kobe every time he touches the rock. Make the other guys make shots....if they do...you just tip your cap to them cause you have no chance then.
Rod Orlando,FL
its not Jameer's fault...Orlando will lose the finals simply b/c they wont utilize the paint..the 3 has gotten them there and if they dont wake up...the 3 will get them swept
James (Toledo, OH)
Can we now start talking about the mismatch advantages that the Lakers have and stop talking about just the advantages of the Magic??? Oh, and have a great show.... PS...Dana, I'm a UT grad....nice speech at graduation....
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
mod didn't get his coffee this morning, the entire cast of first-&-ten refers to "their" team in the first person
Moderator (10:11 AM)
you're right about that, Rob...I still like to stoke the complaint though
John, Austin
The second the whistle blew on Dwight's 2nd foul the Magic were done.
Adnan(Chicago Illinios)
Why was Nelson playing so much?
Brian(Dover)
I agree with Skip......Van Jeremy messed up the chemistry last night. Their perimeter passing was WAYYYYY off.
Donald NJ
Whats up with skip's shirt?
jason thomas (Huntsville AL)
Jeremiah (Bolivar,NY): Beat me to the punch and he's right Jameer Nelson messed up the team chemistry. Van Gundy needs to sit him and stick with Skip to My Lou as usual.
Adnan (Chicago Illinios)
I wouldn't blame anyone for the magic loss. I blame kobe.
Donald NJ
Magic lost because they were out coached. they will make adjustments sunday
Donald NJ
magic were out coached
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Looks like there is a new twist on an old defensive style. Welcome to the 21st century version of Hack-a-Shaq now known as Hack-a-Howard.
Brian (Michigan)
12 points on 6 FGA along with 15 rebounds 2 blocks and 2 steals. Only 2 turnovers and 3 fouls. He did his job, he isn't their main scorer.
Moderator (10:14 AM)
will Randy Johnson be the last member of the 300 wins club?
Russell (Richmond, VA)
If it aint broke dont fix it. Orlando should have stuck with what got them there. You dont try a player out in the NBA Finals!! NO WAY, NO HOW!!
Kanyon (Huntington,WV)
I think if the lakers could get an extra big man it wouldn't hurt. i would say a guy like gortat or chuck hayes then they would be the best team in the league for sure. now if the magic could get another big man if gortat goes i would say they might be able to work out a deal with a guy like bosh or that next year with dirk or amare
John, Austin
Mod, yes, the way pitching is handled in this era, there won't be a 300 game winner for a long time.
Donald NJ
NO CC will reach 300 wins.
Dan WV
Barry Melrose time!!
Dana Jacobson (10:16 AM)
morning folks. James from Toledo, not sure what the graduation speech reference is to.
Cedric (Memphis TN)
Dana, Skip, Jay, Mod, MK and everybody else, were you just as surprised as I was to see LeBron allow Nike to make fun of him not being in the Finals?
Dan WV
Yes, no other pitcher is gonna reach 300 not even C.C
Johnny (Minot, ND)
C C has a descent shot.
Dana Jacobson (10:18 AM)
cedric, no actually. smart marketing move on his part.
Brian(Dover)
CC Sabathia has a shot...... Lincecum and Cain if the Giants ever get some offense....
Brian(Dover)
Good morning Dana....Red Wings-Pens is turning into a nice series isn't it?
Dana Jacobson (10:18 AM)
brian - turning into? it is one. 3 game series. would be nice to have datsuyk back!!
Moderator (10:18 AM)
golf chatter coming up too in 2nd down, Tiger...
Donald NJ
Dana is shaking in her pumps. must win game 5 or this series is over
Umor ( Detroit)
PREACH BARRY PREACH.
John, Austin
No way CC survives the years to make it to 300.
Dana Jacobson (10:19 AM)
donald, no way. yes would like to see them win game 5 but even if they don't wings can win on the road, they've done it before.
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
NO WAY = CC Sabathia will have to win 18 games a year for the next 10 years to reach the mark, and he's only won 18-games ONCE thus far in his career.
Dana Jacobson (10:19 AM)
great poitn rob, tim k talked about it yesterday
Scott : (PA)
Whats wrong with the Red Wings power play and penalty kill Dana?
Dana Jacobson (10:20 AM)
scott if i knew i'd let them know. sloppy taking care of the puck on the power play
giantphan oak island n.c.
Skip .... thirty years ago when the n.y.Islanders won four stanley cups in a row, their goalie Billy Smith would NEVER shake hands with the other team win or lose ...... I remember it like it was yesterday. Almost everyone thought it was alright and no one persecuted Billy like they are persecuting Lebron. Have a great weekend everyone .... Ed
Dana Jacobson (10:20 AM)
giantphan, i was too young to remember. but r you sure everyone was ok with it? i heard barry the other day talking abut how its happened in hockey but guys aren't ok with it
James (Toledo, OH)
Dana, Didn't you speak for graduation at the University of Toeldo this year? I thought that was you up there!
Dana Jacobson (10:21 AM)
nope, sorry
Dana Jacobson (10:21 AM)
that nope sorry was to james, no grad speeches!
Cedric (Memphis TN)
How bout them Penguins! I hate the Pens, but I thought it was funny how every analyst, writer, bartender, and anybody else paying attention said the Pens didn't have a shot, and they were done after the first two games. I love the overreactive world we live in. Like if Orlando goes HOME down 0-2 the world will bury them and say they are done. Patience people
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
YES, unoquivicably..... with how they use starters now (and not finishing games), and with the reliance of middlement and closers - the day of another 300-game winner is officially behind us..... nobody pitches enough, or gets enough wins, or will be prompted to play long enough (because of the big money) to hang around the 20-plus years neccessary to get 300
lawrence stowe vt
Who thinks that the 25,000 fine on lebron is for real?
Bolivar, hollywood fl
I completelly agree with Skip because Van Gundy might had just lost the series by messing with the team's chemistry. These are the FINALS game 1 is the opportunity to set the tone for the rest of the series.
Tim Heiduk (Santa Barbara, California) age 11
Stan Van Gundy said it in pre game speech. The last series was about Lebron, this series is about Kobe. If it is, why didn't you double team Kobe? Make someone else hurt you. If Kobe continues to score 40, this series is over in four games.
Devone Long Beach CA
Skip and Rob are both goofs!!! First they pick Orlando to win the series, then they make up an excuse as to why Orlando loses... SMH.... Not because Orlando came across and played the best team in the league, but because SVG made a coaching blunder. Give me a break. When will your "contestants" on 1st and 10 make educated guess and quit ruining easy debate topics?
Jay Crawford (10:25 AM)
good friday morning room!! lakers rocked it last night!
Donald NJ
Can my yankees get some love. 2 days ago tex was out of the lineup we loose. yesterday he is in the lineup we win tex goes 2-4 with a couple of rbi
Jay Crawford (10:26 AM)
wait donald, are you asking for yankees coverage, because they clearly dont get enough...
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
I hope that wasn't a misleading tease. Nolan Ryan is going to be on the show. Today might be the best show ever.
Jay Crawford (10:26 AM)
sorry cal, no nolan. not sure what youre talking about...
Jay Crawford (10:26 AM)
tom house is
Lance (New York, N.Y.)
Viva, thank you for telling me about the commercial. That is an AWESOME way for Nike to make use of LeBron James being out. Here's the link: http://bit.ly/dklSY
Donald NJ
Jay My yankees will win the AL east. And we will win the ALCS. Mark my words. as skip would say you can put me on record!!!!
Jay Crawford (10:27 AM)
hmmmm. skip would say book it. and im not sure they have the pitching to win the al. red sox rotation is crazy
Donald NJ
Jay I know we get the coverage, but we don't get the respect as the best team in the AL
Jay Crawford (10:27 AM)
that might be true.
Brian(Dover)
Give me a break Yankee fan.....Can my Giants get some love for staying around .500 with a AAA lineup?
jeffGARFIELDOH [via mobile]
vinceyoungsihouldplay
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Jay: Who cares about the NBA? We've got a barn burner of a series going on in the NHL. Can the Pens keep it going and take home the Cup?
Jay Crawford (10:28 AM)
the pens CAN win this if they can steal one in detroits barn. that wont be easy.
Scott(Indy)
Ask skip when is he going to let me on the show i bet i can handle my own against him and rob you could have a regular joe come on once a week to challenge skip, that would be cool !!! let me at em
James (Toledo, OH)
Jay, Can you talk to Rob and Skip and get them to see that this is not about Orlando....it is about the Lakers? If the Lakers execute correctly on both ends they will win the title. Just like the Magic had the clear advantage over the Cavs, the Lakers have the clear advantage over the Magic. It's that simple.....Oh, and Jay...Have a great show!
Jay Crawford (10:29 AM)
i agree with you james. la will not let orlando get the clean looks cleveland did. you are all witness to how a great coach, phil jackson, can make a difference, where mike brown was overmatched.
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
penguins made this one a series!!
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
There's been a HR hit in every game thus far in the new Yankee Stadium (aka LaGuardia Annex). I'm going to my first game there tomorrow. The streak will probably be snapped then.
Jay Crawford (10:29 AM)
i doubt it johnny. the ny launching pad cant be shutout.
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
I'm going to cry now. I was 125% sure you were talking about Nolan Ryan, but Tom House is the guest. I'm am crying foul. You made people think Nolan Ryan was going to be on just so we wouldn't change the channel. r
Jay Crawford (10:30 AM)
sorry cal if you feel misled. we never said nolan was coming on.
Brian (Michigan)
Hockey is played in barns now? Maybe I should watch a game.
Jay Crawford (10:30 AM)
welcome to hockey brian.
Devone Long Beach CA
SVG didnt lose the series last night!!! READ THIS IMMEDIATELY, "Orlando is not on the level of the LOS ANGELES LAKERS". These are 2 different teams with 2 different championship outlooks. The Lakers are a team on a mission. Orlando is just a team that they claim "no one believed we could do this". That is the difference in the 2 teams. Orlando is out to prove their critics wrong and play at a high level, the Lakers are out to win a championship. The Lakers dont have to prove a thing to anyone.
Donald NJ
CC is only 28. has at least 5 more dominant years in him. if the yankees continue to give him run support he will have a great chance at 300
Tim (Clarkdale AZ)
300 wins for Randy Johnson is a major baseball milestone. However, it is fitting that it took place in front of a few dozen fans. Johnson has been distant and cold to baseball fans from the get-go. Even here in Arizona, where Johnson had arguably his best years, he was like a ice queen.
Terrance T (new haven,ct.)
As usual,Skip is right. Instead of being himself,he tried to prove he belong on the same stage with Phil Jackson.Coach Stan played a dangerous game and lost it for his team. Maybe they would've made more shots if their confidence wasn't screwed with by his changing of the rotation. If you listen to his postgame interviews, he's very cocky. He Know he messed up with that rotation, but the bad part is I don't see him trying to correct it for game 2 because he wants the glory for an idea thats going no where fast. Ihad the Lakers in 6, but with the way he's coaching i'll change it to 5.
tomwit nj [via mobile]
Phil Niekro won 121 games after age 40. I knnw. 4 man rotation. Someone has to put 20 per cent more effort in.I think we will see another 300 winner.
Ken (cleveland)
Proof that Skip an LBJcist. 40 8 and 8 with 30+ fg attempts would have earned James maybe a 4 out of 10. He's inefficient takes everyone out of their games etc. etc. It's amazing how everyone is saying this is the best Kobe has been because after 14 years he has learned to involve his teammates, wonde how long it will take Lebron to learn that, oh wait nevermind
James (Toledo, OH)
I do agree with Rob and Skip that you don't try to fix what isn't broke. However, the Magic won both games during the season with Jameer Nelson at the point and no "Skip" Alston. That is why I have been saying for the past week that the regular season should be discounted completely, because of the uncertainty of that change.
Jeff (LI, NY)
Raefer Alston was so insulted by sitting the WHOLE 2nd quarter so Nelson could play, that when he came back in he was completely out of sync!! Stan Van Gundy May very well have ruined ALL the chemistry Orlando had going in to this series!!
Rod Murray Orlando, FL
the fine is ridiculous...David Stern is out of line with that one
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
do the math and figure out how that is "chump change" to LeBron......... I wrote a column when they were on MJ for betting 10-grand on golf, after figuring out that it was like the average guy having a 10-dollar bet.........no biggie
Michael Kim (10:32 AM)
Morning all... TGIF.
john- pc bch,fl
James...How stoned were you at Graduation- you THOUGHT it was her- she's on t.v. every day! rotfl
Brian (Michigan)
I didn't know the NBA Finals was already over. They only play one game now?
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
DON'T YA JUST LUV IT???......one stinking game and all the naysayers are suggesting that it's over............COME ON!!!
Mike G (El Paso)
You guys read tooo much into 1 game. Magic missed tooo many shots. Its NOT going to happen all series long. When you miss a lot of shots YEAH your going to get blown out! So Laker fans give it a rest already! No sweep in this series! Magic in 6!
Michael Kim (10:34 AM)
EA Sports simulation had the Magic losing the first two games but coming back to beat the Lakers in a Game 7.
Donald NJ
Mike Kim i was always told never to trust anyone with 2 first names. LOL
Michael Kim (10:35 AM)
You need to get on board... All the greats have two first names: Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, etc.
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
personally, I'd luv to see a 7-game series....back and forth wins by both teams....... leaving "the best" standing at the end
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Hell will freeze over before the Magic win a Game 7 IN L.A.!!!
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
theres no way thats gunna happen
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
What was up with that guy during the kobe press conference with the huge bright blue and yellow furry hat!?!?!?
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
James (Toledo, OH) == sorry dude, but any team that "executes correctly" can beat any team on any given night... no clear advantage of both teams show up.
James (Toledo, OH)
Scott(Indy), I like that idea. In fact, couldn't we do it as a call in segment....and make it FIFTH DOWN????
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
Donald NJ = I'm a lifelong Yankees fan, but, COME ON!!!
Mark (Cincinnati)
C.C has a shot to get to 300. But being as big as he is it's easier for him to break down. Just look at big papi. In this era if you want to get a win you have to throw complete games the way these bullpens are giving up these leads left and right. In my opinion if you want to get to 300 wins you have to start out young, and teams aren't willing to do that because they want to delay arbitration. So it could be a long time before we see another 300 game winner.
john- pc bch,fl
Jay, you've still got to win three more games.
Jay Crawford (10:41 AM)
not me...the lakers john.
Brian(Dover)
Kenny Perry SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!!!
Donald NJ
Jay too many arms for yankees? you just said we didn't have the pitching to win the al east
Jay Crawford (10:41 AM)
you dont. but right now with wang and hughes there's a log jam of guys you would THINK could dominate at this level.
Donald NJ
Skip's shirt looks like a salad with those funny colored onions
John, Austin
Hey Kenny Perry, if you aint first your're last!!!
Jay Crawford (10:42 AM)
ha! good one john
Donald NJ
Rob Parker is a smart man
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
COME ON SKIP == you know better than that, no sport in the history of sport has gotten along without the superstar(s)
Rod: (Orlando and Florida):
Will Kobe be able to put up 40 point nights..throughout this entire series
Michael (KY)
Rasheed in Atlanta..... better email those folks in Hell to go buy their winter coats!
Jay Crawford (10:43 AM)
nope. that would be bad for the lakers. he needed to last night to light the fire...
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
I wouldn't say it the way Kenny Perry did, but he's right. The effect Tiger has had not only on the Tour but the game of golf at-large CANNOT be overstated.
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
Scott from Indy, great idea, I deffinitely could take him down to china town!!
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
There's way more you cant trust with 2 first names, Number one for this baseball season is B.J. Ryan.
Ken (cleveland)
No way Orlando shoots 29% whole series La will give one away, Magic will shoot better but LA doesn't have matchup problems with Orlando like previous teams. Lakers in 6
John, Austin
Dana, a little quient today, are you feeling a little "short-handed?"
Adam G (Tampa, FL)
Hey Rob Parker Red Sox Nation might have something to say about that...
Jay Crawford (10:43 AM)
good one john...but she's been busy.
Brian(Dover)
Jay....ask Skip......Why is okay for the NBA to shamelessly market LeBron and Kobe, but it is not okay to market Tiger when he is CLEARLY the best player on the PGA Tour?
Donald NJ
Jay in the playoffs you only need 3 and you know that. CC can be a horse if we need him to
Jay Crawford (10:44 AM)
true. but i still like bostons best 3 better than nys big 3. cc and playoffs....ka-BOOM!
Donald NJ
Thank you rob. I've been saying CC for a Week now
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Two castoffs from the big Yankees gave up four runs in two innings for Scranton last night and cost them the first game of the double header. They may have quantity but the quality is iffy, Jay.
Jay Crawford (10:45 AM)
thats my point exactly!
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Michael I will walk to Kentucky and eat my hat on your doorstep if the Magic win a Game 7.
John, Austin
Jay, if CMWong struggles some more how long until we hear Peavy, Oswalt or Bedard to the Yanks? And I see them signing Glavine, why not?
Jay Crawford (10:46 AM)
glavine no way... they cant afford anymore payroll. trust me when i tell you they are more cash strapped now than ever before.
Donald NJ
Jay great point. YOu got me there
Jay Crawford (10:47 AM)
you make some good points too though donald. the yanks will def be a factor. something to watch. their ballpark in the playoffs could be a nightmare for their staff.
G MONEY PHILADELPHIA,PA.
DANA' WHATS UP WITH YOUR RED WINGS THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR CHOKE
Jeff (Ohio)
Donald must have missed C.C.'s Indians playoff "heroics". And by heroics I mean he cost us the pennant and the World Series.
Jay Crawford (10:48 AM)
zactly!
Adam G (Tampa, FL)
Jay C in the place to be!
Jay Crawford (10:48 AM)
what up g!
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
You are crazy Jay, Yankees big 3 much better then bostons big 3
Dana Jacobson (10:49 AM)
g money i'd say 2 things. as barry said pens are a good team...but if the wings fizzle now, yes. pretty bad. no excuse not having datsuyk but doesn't help em
Jay Crawford (10:49 AM)
we'll see jeff from long island. no one beats beckett in oct...who's your oct work horse? and dont say cc...
giantphan oak island n.c.
how come some of my posts never show up?? i sent follow ups after Dana was kind enough to answer me, and they never showed up. I was just curious as to what happened to them, are the messages read by the site first and they decide if it can be viewed???? I thought it was vlid thats why i took the time to send it. Or maybe they were postnapped ..... a postjacking .... just wunnerin ... thanx Ed
Dana Jacobson (10:50 AM)
giantphan, all the posts you chatters send in go to one place where we see them. we have to post them in order for them to "be on the chat". i have been dealing with computer isses but will go back and look at em.
Donald NJ
do the wings have as big as a goalie advantage as we all think
Dana Jacobson (10:52 AM)
donald fleury looked pretty good last night so no. and even last year, truly, he had some shining moments.
giantphan oak island n.c.
Johnny P.A. your righ we have a burner nhl finals and there is very little talk about it... shows you how much people don't care about hockey ... do you realize the little girl who won the spelling tournament, got more coverage that the hockey ... sighhhhh
Dana Jacobson (10:54 AM)
giantphan i know it gets frustrating. i was frutstrated last night looking at the front page of dot com. huge on nba finals, one little link to nhl. its the way it is. more fans for nba than nhl. nhl getting better games right now!!
Donald NJ
Westbrook is too injury prone. good eagles drafted Mccoy. should be the team to beat in the nfc east
Brandon (Buffalo NY)
no fleury has played great at home this playoff season
John, Austin
Dana, computer problems? Maybe its lost its "momentum"
Dana Jacobson (10:55 AM)
well john it certainly wasn't doing what it could to help the team!
Frisk (CT)
If Tim Lincecum ever gets out of San Francisco is there a chance he gets to 300 wins?
Dana Jacobson (10:56 AM)
frisk, we did a hole deal with tim k yesterday and its sort of the same for all these guys. the way starters/bullpens are used makes it tough. i think tim gave him like 13 percent chance. its the number of wins /season that are needed that kill all these guys.
giantphan oak island n.c.
it's cool Dana i was just wunnerin .... none were really important and i appreciate you taking the time
Dana Jacobson (10:57 AM)
giantphan its what we're here for, i found some but soo many come in its tough when you keep going back. if you want to send another might have a better shot
Leonard, Diamond Bar, CA
Skip,s right. When Tiger takes the lead I tune out. His competition psychology collapses.
Brian(Dover)
A Rangers-Yankees series would be a NIGHTMARE for both teams. The pitching staffs would have to be 20 deep.
Brian(Dover)
I am a Denver Broncos fan......Jay Cutler DOES NOT SOLVE QB PROBLEMS!!!! He had better weapons in Denver than he will in Chicago.....and I am supposed to believe the Bears become winners overnight? Good luck with that and have plenty of Pampers handy for your new QB!!!
Dana Jacobson (10:58 AM)
brian on the receiver end, good points. but he's got ability
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
Glavine should just retire. He's barely a .500 pitcher now. It's not worth any team's time to sign him. Retire with some dignity, Tommy!
Lance (New York, N.Y.)
Oh boy, Robin Soderling, the underdog that ended Rafael Nadal's reign in Paris, is now playing in the French Open final. I'm at a loss for words.
john- pc bch,fl
Michael, please weigh in- who did you pick in the Finals(NBA)?
Michael Kim (10:59 AM)
John - I thought the Magic had something going and would give LA matchup problems. Not exactly what happened last night...
Michael (KY)
Rasheed, I will be waiting....
lavineo (atlanta, ga)
cc could do it as long as he stays with the yankees
Michael Kim (11:01 AM)
The Yankees lineup would help CC but I wonder if he can stay healthy for the next 10-12 years to reach that milestone.
john- pc bch,fl
In ALL of my posts, I've defended the Magic, but I haven't given the Lakers their props, sry. Dunno WHAT team could have stopped them last night.
Michael Kim (11:03 AM)
John - a perfect storm led to that blowout... AND Kobe "looks" like a more focused player. I think he WILL avg. close to 40 pts in this series. He's not going down without his best and I don't think he trusts his teammates.
lawrence stowe vt
with the bats the yankees have they dont need a lot of pitching. The braves had 3 of the best and only won 1 series.
Jay Crawford (11:03 AM)
they'll need it in october especially playing on a little league field. routine pop ups take flight there. just ask johnny damon.
lavineo (atlanta, ga)
olando gives la all types of matchup problems such as the point guard derrek fisher is way to slow to gaurd any of their point guards pau gasol cant guard lewis
john (boston)
cc wont do it
Hook (Southern Maryland)
I wish NASCAR would fine Kyle Busch $25,000 for everytime he didn't talk to the media after a race.
Kanyon (Huntington,WV)
Why is pat white 3rd string for the dolphins
Jay Crawford (11:04 AM)
he'll play. trust me!
James (Toledo, OH)
The beautiful thing about what Kobe did last night is that now, the Magic will most likely switch their defense to focus on Kobe. That will leave the other guys open for good looks just like in the Denver series.
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Please don't remind us Lawrence.
Donald NJ
Brian the bears will not sling it as shanahan did. They will rely on their defence. Cutler will handle 3rd down. He does have one of his old college recievers. and Lovey will be gone. Bears will hire shanahan

ONE game does not a 7-game series make!
G MONEY PHILADELPHIA,PA.
MICHAEL KIM I GOT THIS SERIES BEING OVER IN 5 OR 6 KOBE IS DETERMINED
terry giles va
tiger is good, but i think over rated, like yesterday, donald shot a 64 and has not been mentioned none, all you here is tiger,no wonder no one can win, they get no praise from anyone
Brian (Michigan)
CC will probably weigh 400 pounds by the time he is 40, he won't make it.
Michael (KY)
Rasheed, make sure you bring your green hat! Its my favorite color! ;)
Will (Courtland, VA)
Jake Peavy and Jeremy Bonderman seem to be the only ones with enough time to get to the milestone (& CC). Young enough and have some wins under their belt.
Scott (Orlando, FL)
More like who could've stopped Kobe
Johnny (Scranton, PA)
I don't think CC lasts long enough to get to 300. Jamie Moyer may pitch until he's 55 so he might get there.
Jarvis. Columbus, ga [via mobile]
Yo jay, I must admit, I'm not a cavs fan. I felt disrespected by lebrons celebrating thru the season. Just not by the best player on the court! Maybe they'll approach next season a little different!
Jay Crawford (11:06 AM)
humble pie goes down hard. i hope we see a different cavs team and approach next season...

I'm a Tigers fan and Bonderman has no shot. Let's get serious.
Jay Crawford (11:07 AM)
agreed...bonderman??? come on
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Michael I'll eat that dude's crazy hat from the Kobe press conference last night. FOR REAL.
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
terry giles va = perhaps you could fill us in on what Luke Donald has done lately ?......"one single round does not a tournament make"
Toledo, OH
Skip, You honestly don't think that Gasol played quality defense? A player doesn't have to be set, they have to be squared up. That is why guys get get charges in transition.
John (Dallas)
Someone asked will Kobe be able to score 40 a night the rest of the series? If they continue to play him one on one, yes.
Gavin - KC
Peavy--NO Bonderman--SERIOUSLY???
goshen,IN
CC can never...never get to 300 wins. He'll have a mental shutdown like he did in Cleveland, and he;ll fall apart. He was getting to the playoffs, winning a cy young and look what happend. He don't have the mental capability to win 300, sorry C.C. fans.
Hook (Southern Maryland)
I have Johnny Damon on my fantasy team because he will hit some fly balls to right field that will go out.

Skip & Rob, You guys are looking at Orlando in light of Cleveland's series. The Lakers aren't Cleveland.
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
Jay, maybe you did not say Nolan Ryan was going to be on the show, but when the tease was you were going to have the person on that helped Randy Johnson with his mechanics, everybody on the planet thought you were talking about Nolan Ryan. I almost deleted a classice episode of Cheyenne getting a tape ready for Nolan Ryan.
Jay Crawford (11:09 AM)
whew! glad you didnt do that calvin.
Brian (Michigan)
Pat White is a stud except when it comes to throwing the ball, which is kinda important for a quarterback.
Jay Crawford (11:09 AM)
not in the wildcat...

randy was smart went to the national league thats how he made it to 300

Duct Tape is a redneck fix - and my brother's a redneck - doesn't work on anything in real life or regular life.
Jay Crawford (11:10 AM)
disagree rob. it's holding on my laptap cover just fine. and thats very real to me.
James (Toledo, OH)
Skip, I'm surprised you haven't said that Kobe can't sustain his play for a whole series? You have been saying that the whole playoffs so I expected to hear that this morning.....
R Mom (Spring Valley, NY)

Dwight Howard is not Shaq, he has limited low post moves. He didnt dunk at all last night. Without dunking,he cant score. Lakers BIGS move alot better. He only man handled one team this post season(Cavs)

Dana, Jay, Michael, anyone, why can't a major league team have a 6 man rotation? With a 6 man rotation each player would still have about 25 starts a year as opposed to 30, so why does Hughes have to pitch out of the Pen? The Yankees could use a long man but Hughes is more valuable as a starter. Someone explain it to me.
Will (Courtland, VA)
I only mentioned Bonderman as he is 26 with 59 wins...he has the time to do things...until they go back to the 4 man rotation, no one who spends the first 5 years of their careers in the minors will have the opportunity to get to that point. Pitchers are handicapped in that teams will no longer rush them along to the majors like a position player. Thusly handicapping them in the numbers game. 250 is the new 300.
Marvin (Brooklyn, NY)
That sorry excuse for a Magic team we all saw yesterday, regardless of the Laker's sufficient defense, is not the Magic I've seen and have been impressed by all post season. I hope they come out and come out stronger on Sunday. They don't even necessarily need to win, but at the very least come out stronger. Come out like the Magic they truly are inside. More effort, more confidence. Props to the Lakers though, Kobe especially.
Jay Crawford (11:12 AM)
too much rest is not a good thing for a starters rhythm
Manny Ramirez (Mannywood, LA)
Hey Jay Crawford me Brett Favre and YAo Ming will be joining your boy Lebron and Mo Williams next season.
Jay Crawford (11:13 AM)
championship! book it!
AJ (Sacramento)
ESPN and Sportscenter should be asshamed of themselves. Randy Johnson will be the last pitcher in history to reach 300 wins and all Sportcenter can seem to show is the NBA Finals. IM the biggest NBA fan out there, but show some love to Randy. There will be at least 4 more NBA Finals games this year and a series next year, the year after and after. Show some love to the Hall of Famer!
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
The Cleveland owner will make it happen. Just watch, the Cavs will trade for the rights to Stephen Curry.

SIX-MAN ROTATION? Teams can't get enough starting pitching to fill a FIVE-man rotation.
Jay Crawford (11:14 AM)
i figured that out. lol
Ray (Baltimore)
Hey Jay have you noticed that the only people to have problem with Lebron not speaking to Orlando or the media was Orlando and the media. Former players/analysts included they were the only ones to have a problem.
Steven (Philadelphia, PA)
Dana, would you were a Red Wings jersey on the show if they win the Stanley Cup?
Dana Jacobson (11:16 AM)
steven, no. didn't last year when they won. jerseys are reserved for bets!
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
Frisk (CT)= do the math..... Licecum has won 29 games, he's 25 years old, and at the rate he's going he'll have to win 15 games a year for the next 19 years - making him 44 when he reaches the mark - to get to 300.......
Jeff (Long Island, NY)
Dana what is your take on Van Gundy playing Jameer Nelson????????
Dana Jacobson (11:17 AM)
jeff i can understand why he wanted to but i do think its tough to bring a guy in who's been out that long. not the smartest move for the amount of time

How can Larry Brown be the greatest coach ever when he kept changing jobs whenever he felt like it.
Fletcher (Lansing, MI)
Skip Needs to go harder on Lebron and his poor sportsmanship. If Lebron can show how "Good He Looks Winning," he can show how good he looks losing. His Nike puppet has more character!
Adam G (Tampa, FL)
Mike Brown goes from coach of the year to jobless, Skip, come on!

Don't you think David Stern and the NBA told LeBron not to shake hands and talk to the media to get the fans mad at LeBron and make it easier for James to go to the Knicks?
Brian( Goshen,IN)
The WildPat will be unstoppable. With the improved line, and a threat to throw the ball we will have defenses shaking in their playbooks. Sparano said they only showed 15-20% of the plays for the WildPat..so look put pat fans..lol
Dana Jacobson (11:22 AM)
calvin are you serious??? please
Donald NJ
Antball Dwight Howard is very young. i think when shaq was howards age he was a rookie give him some time.
Brad, Madison
Promising a championship when the best player in the league is leaving your team in the immediate future is just bad busines.
AntBall (Lewisville GA)
true Lebron came through. Hes a tem player, hes a historian and yad yada yada. Yet with adversity sat in he ran out n took his ball with him. Guess the film ran out the camera cause after beating the hwaks they stop snapping them(LOL) Sad thing is no one said he needed help earlier when they had the league's best record. They were even picked to win it all n had the "best defensive team". STOP GIVING LEBRON A PASS ESPN!
Mike G (El Paso)
Jay, do think you think josh beckett has a chance to make 300?

Calvin that was probably the silliest post ive seen all day

National Doughnut Day? C.C. Sabathia's favorite Holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adam G (Tampa, FL)
If the Red Sox get Adam G Dunn then they will win it all!

I've had that same thought about Mike Brown, Adam. The last 4 or 5 Coach of the Year winners have been fired quickly. Strange.

Dana, Was it graduation in December?

Larry Brown skip?? lol After the debacle in the 2004 Olympics...LeBron was asked what he learned from Larry Brown? LeBron said, "Nothing"!! That would never work in Clevland!
Joe (Butte, MT)
Skip is 100 or perhaps 1000% correct!! With LeBron on the team anybody could coach these guys to the Eastern Conference finals, but a real coach like Larry Brown could coach them to an NBA title. That's what the right Brown can do for you!!!
Dana Jacobson (11:25 AM)
James, i swear. Haven't given a grad speech anywhere. Sorry.
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Simmons has been saying that for weeks John about StanVan. After last night, he looked just as washed up as RonJer too.
Brian (Michigan)
Beckett only has 205 wins to go. He has a better chance of reaching 300 blisters.
lavineo (atlanta, ga)
mike brown will get fired if the cavs want to keep lebron.
Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)
Dana - good point..... he should have been "that guy" brought in off the bench, starting in game-2 or so, to give the team a "lift" - but not as part of the regular rotation........dumb move on VanGundy's part
Ray (Baltimore)
Hey Jay how are able to conduct the interview on T.V and still read and answer questions on here?
Brian(Dover)
I think Van Gundy should have saved the "Jameer Nelson experiment" for Game 3...the boost from the home crowd probably would have trumped the chemistry issue.
Jay Crawford (11:26 AM)

Coach of the Year doesn't mean squat!!! Mike Brown should start packing up the house because he'll be moving soon.

Dana Jacobson (11:29 AM)
R Mom, I think its the pats. I know, I know...tom brady bandwagon jumper. I just still think the pats are teh team to beat wtih him there. should be a great battle this year. jets too uncertain at qb, fins hard to shock anyone this year
Dana Jacobson (11:30 AM)
Oh and the bills RMom, who knows what trent is going to bring. last year wniless against the division, hard to say they're going to win it all this year

Dana Jacobson (11:33 AM)
kanyon white will play but no way he's ahead of henne on teh depth chart. he'll be used for wildcat
Behn (Indiana)
Roethlisberger is the biggest overhyped p-o-s in sports. Way to go getting drafted by a winning organization! You would be compared to Ryan Leaf if you got drafted elsewhere!
Michael Kim (11:33 AM)
Carl -- What I appreciate about the Yankees is their "winning is everything" mentality. They don't always win, but they do everything they can to do so. Sometimes, I feel the Cardinals use the "small-market" copout too much. Their fanbase is huge and would support a more aggressive approach to get players.
Hook (Southern maryland)
Dang Dana. Quarduple post X2. Don't worry Dana. There are a lot of bandwagoneers out there.
Jay Crawford (11:34 AM)
hmmmm. ryaqn leaf and ben roethlisberger in the same sentence...behn...you need a time out for that one.

Hook (Southern Maryland)
I am glad Randy Johnson got his 300th win but I am so mad I wasn't able to make it. That opportunity will probably never come again.
Jeff (Ohio)
Michael Kim, you need to use some of your Cardinals connects to get them to trade for Mark DeRosa. Perfect fit.
AntBall (Lewisville GA)
Will they win it all though DANA? Defense getting old. Coach cheated n is overrated. So winning is good, but wil they win it all?
Jeff (Ohio)
Doc Halladay will be the next 300 game winner. He's got all the ingredients; durability (when he's not getting hit on the arm/leg by freak line-drives), consistency, he goes deep into games, and he's getting better with age.
Feeve, Milwaukee
WOW...The rest of sportsnation finally agree that Mike Brown is overratted. What a revalation!!!! The very post that I've been sending all last week.It must be fashionable now
Michael Kim (11:37 AM)
Jeff - I would love to see the Cards get Mark DeRosa. A great clubhouse guy who is extremely versatile. A perfect LaRussa type player.
Dana Jacobson (11:37 AM)
Antball will the pats win it all? Right now in June, i'll say no. But i'm not sure who will beat them. Its hard to think otherwise they are always there. I think it would be kind of cool to see a steelers repeat. Just to have one...denver the last right? OR a total shock...a bills or a saints.
Drew (Buffalo)
Girls in little jerseys are ok, Dana. Sometimes they look ok, only in the sporting arena. Adult males in jerseys are never ok.
Carl (Hattiesburg, MS)
Respectfully, but buying championships isn't nearly as sweet as drafting players and truly earning them....plus lately winning in the free agent market hasn't equated to winning in October!
Dana Jacobson (11:38 AM)
drew, i think some of the guys on here are going to have something to say about that.
Brad, Madison
Zero chance Halladay getsto 300 he's already in his 30's and only has 140!
CC Sabathia (NYC)
One more good contract, "show me the money", and I'm done....... I've got other hobbies
Dana Jacobson (11:38 AM)
cc, from a life perspective. sounds pretty good!
Kanyon (Huntington WV)
why is henne ahead of Pat White in the depth chart
Dana Jacobson (11:39 AM)
kanyon he's been a part of that offense for an entire season. they're grooming him to take over for pennington in a year and said as much. giving him more snaps in camps, etc. dolphins very high on henne
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Yeah I don't see what's wrong with wearing a football jersey to an NFL game, for instance. Not that I DO, but I'm just saying...
Brian (Michigan)
It's possible forRoy Halladay to get 300 but all those injuries early in his career really hurt his chances. He is 32 and not even halfway there.
Dana Jacobson (11:40 AM)
good poitn brian
AROD ( (NYC))
Me to CC. It's not like we have to earn the contracts anyway. I mean we choke in every big game and still get 160 million. HA HA It's great to be us.
Brian (Michigan)
Because Chad Henne is a better quarterback than Pat White. White can't pass.
Gavin - KC
Because he's the Dolphins have already said that Henne will be the starter next season!
Michael Kim (11:41 AM)
Carl - No questioning the organization's development of players -- Pujols, Molina, Rasmus, Ankiel to name a few. But they passed on Porcello because of money and they have continue to have a revolving door at 2B because of $. I'm not talking about getting into the big-name free agents, but a guy like Orlando Hudson would have been a great signing for the Cards.
Brian(Dover)
What? You mean it isn't cool for a grown man to wear a Lisa Leslie L.A. Sparks jersey?
Brian (Michigan)
Not sure why an adult would wear a pro sports jersey unless he plays pro sports. I haven't worn one since I was 13.
Dana Jacobson (11:41 AM)
to each his own in the world of sports.
Kanyon (Huntington WV)
But I don't get where is henne better than white in speed, throwing power, throwing accuracy, etc.
Donald NJ
Matt Berry is the fantasy king. This guy must be in 500 leagues
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
Michael-I would like to see the Cards get Chan Ho Park so the Phillies would get better and help the Reds catch the Cards.
tomwit nj [via mobile]
I think Big Units .647 win per centage is most impressive. Especially in a sport where mediocrity is the rule. A .300 hitter makes an out 7 out of times but is considered good!
R Mom (Spring Valley, NY)
Jeff (Ohio), You may be right. Roy Halladay probably has the best chance. He Has about 140 wins but he's 32 years old. He definitely has the "stuff" to do it, though.
Paul Ypsilanti MI [via mobile]
Great piece by Tim K to put the Units accomplishments in perspective
Dana Jacobson (11:42 AM)
kanyon, im not at practice. but again in the nfl, need to know the system for starters. henne's not the same kind of qb...not a runner like white. but i'll take his throwing power and accuracy
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
Henne is not going to start over Chad Pennington. That is the craziest post of the day.
Michael Kim (11:42 AM)
Calvin - LOL. I don't think that's going to happen -- at least I hope it doesn't.
Dana Jacobson (11:43 AM)
calvin next year, pennigtons not under contract. the plan is to have henne in there (not this season) 2010.
Chasm (Huntington WV)
Ah, Kanyon.... my arch nemesis.... we meet again....
Rick jasper,al
Dana, is there any hope for notre dame any time soon?
Donald NJ
Cards are just taking up space in the Nat. League. Not serious this year
Dana Jacobson (11:44 AM)
Rick, this is a telling year for them. They will always battle the problem of high academic standards combined with athletics. BUT clearly they were better last year than the year b/f...so now is the time to shine for clauson.
Michael Kim (11:45 AM)
Donald - Major League players polled by SI would argue your point. Cards behind Dodgers as best chance to win the NL.
James (Toledo, OH)
I've heard of Fantasy Weddings but this is really going out there!!!
Shane (Idaho)
I want whatever it is that everyone who think Halladay will get to 300 wins is smoking/drinking. There is NO chance. He's not even half way there and 32. Randy is 45 do the math, his team is not good enough to get him there. He would have to be traded the Yankees, Boston, or Philly to have a shot
Ray (Baltimore)
What are the odds of Michael Vivk in Buffalo?
Dana Jacobson (11:47 AM)
Ray, in reading some stuff earlier this week sounds like its got buzz but no one is sure where its coming from.. tim graham on the afc east blog said not going to happen when he first got out. things change, but that's what i've heard
Mike (Ohio)
Apparently Donald hasn't seen the Cardinals this year. Legit team.
Hook (Southern Maryland)
What is wrong with men wearing jerseys Drew? But I wear my jerseys only to games or after a big win.
Rasheed (Atlanta, GA)
Two sports fans getting hitched: sounds like a marriage built-to-last.
Feeve, Milwaukee
SPORTSNATION, YOU WILL RESPECT MY BREWERS IN THE NL!!!!!!
Brian(Dover)
The Irish are also playing a much easier schedule this year.....Clauson could turn some heads.
Michael Kim (11:47 AM)
Feeve... You gotta prove it in October.
Dana Jacobson (11:47 AM)
brian, i don't know it so i'll take your word for it.
Brian (Michigan)
Wins are absolutely unpredictable no matter what team you play for. Sometimes even pitchers on teams with a good offense don't get any run support. Sometimes the bullpen blows all their leads. You cannot predict wins.
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
Dana, the NFL season has not started yet, so next season is this year, not 2010. At least, that is I way I took it.
Dana Jacobson (11:49 AM)
calvin with otas underway and camps next week, i say this season for 2009. semantics
Michael Kim (11:50 AM)
Brian - agree. wins are as much luck as a pitcher's skill or talent. If a pitcher has a 3.00 ERA but loses every game 3-2. Who's fault is that? Some belongs to the pitcher, but all of it?
Umor (Detroit)
Feeve, it hard to respect the brewers. they always find a way to lose.
Donald NJ
Yankees all the way!!!! Tex for mvp. Gold glove infield. all 4 of them. Gardener is faster then reyes.
Michael Kim (11:51 AM)
Donald - If it weren't Friday, we'd have you headed to that second room on the left. Gold glove defense? Seriously?
Matt R. (Ironton, OH)
not a chance donald
Paul Ypsi [via mobile]
relief pitching and 5 man rotations skew win percentages too
tomwit nj [via mobile]
My sister and her husband, a stiff, went to Cooperstown for honeymoon. How romantic.
Feeve, Milwaukee
Make it there Kim the Card!!
Michael Kim (11:54 AM)
Feeve, I'm not saying that the Cards will get there... I'm saying in reference to your "respect card" request... The Brewers will get the proper respect from sports fans when they win. It's that simple.
John Kruk (ESPN)
Please, no features on Randy Johnson!
Flex (Detroit)
DANA THX FOR ALL THE DEFENCE FOR THE DET TEAMS.
Brian (Michigan)
A-Rod has been horrible in the field. Absolutely horrible.
AJ (Sacramento)

terry giles va
tell em big ben, pittsburg won the superbowl and the pens are,let me re-phrase that, they will win the stanley cup!!!!!!
Donald NJ
Mike they just broke the error record!!!! you go to the basement sit in the corner down there too
Brian (Michigan)
AJ it probably has something to do with Randy Johnson being a jerk.
Donald NJ
But isn't it about winning championships carl? thats why they play right.
Brian (Michigan)
Nice undecaplets post there Dana.
SoCal (california)
I dont know why everyone gets caught up on regular season stats! The playoffs are a totally different animal. The fact the Majic took 2 games from the Lakers don't mean squat! They(rockets) where swept by L.A, regular season.Went 7 playoffs...Majic are in trouble.
Donald NJ
R mom Jets will win 7 games this year. don't kid yourself. you have no QB. None. Sanchez is not matt ryan. and doesn't have the support that Flacco had on Defense. Pats will win AFC East. Dolphins finish second. your jets at the bottom.
Michael Kim (11:55 AM)
Donald -- the next two teams on the list of teams with longest errorless streaks failed to make the playoffs.
Matt R. (Ironton, OH)
Feeve Brewers are horrible
R Mom (Spring Valley, NY)
Jay, give us a hint. What did Tomwit post?
Adam G. Tampa, FL
Will Ferrell 8.5
FINN (BOSTON)
KOBE IS AMAZING. LEBRON IS NOTHING YET. STOP THIS DEBATE TOO.
Paul Ypsi [via mobile]

Rob (Tallahassee, Fla.)

giantphan oak island n.c.
Dana, Jay, Michael, Skip Can you guys help me out, i'm 48 years old and every year on draft day I watch intently and won't let anyone in the house use the phone, I don't want any of the NFL teams to get a busy signal when they draft me and call to discuss my contract .... can you guys please call your NFL contacts and find out when they plan on calling .... not only would I appreciate it but so will my wife and kids .... i don't leave the couch .... I stay right here by the phone and they want me to take a shower .... thank you .... you're the bestest
Jay Crawford (11:57 AM)

To (River North)
Ferrell has been funnier in his tv appearances (like Man vs. Wild this week and on Conan) than he has been in movies lately.
Feeve, Milwaukee
Kobe's scrowl was for both of you, Skip and Rob picking the Magic in game 1. Sour grapes fellas.
R Mom (Spring Valley, NY)
Donald (NJ), Yankees fan here, Surely you JEST? Gold Glove infield? Uhhh....
K (SYR)
Kobe's scowl is copying Hedo after he hit a shot late in Game 2 against Cleveland. Kobe's face is a copy, Hedos was way better
Cedric (Memphis)
No the scowl isn't real. If I can read a story here in the daily dime that says Kobe stole the scowl from Dirk, then I'm sure Skip can. He said on Kobe doing work he is a swagger jacker. He stole the Duncan shot off the glass. Melo said Kobe stole moves from him in Beijing. Come on Skip you're better than that
Hook (Southern Maryland)
3. HE ISN'T FUNNY. I like Old School. I am a NASCAR fan and hated Talladega Nights.
Jason (Cleveland)
If all of you have never went to Cedar Point, it is an awesome place and I reccomend everyone go at least once. It's awesome.
Brad, Madison
Yankee fans are always so delusional!
Jay Crawford (11:57 AM)
jason, i grew up there. best roller coaster park on the planet...bar none!
Brian(Dover)
The Yankees don't stand a chance in October because Joe Girardi has NO IDEA how to manage a pitching staff.
Demetric (Orlando)
Jay, whats with all the hate for the Braves foe dumping Glavine? baseball is a business and no one knows that better than Glavine, due to the fact he left for more money to the rival Mets a few year back. where was his "loyalty" then?
Jason (Cleveland)
Have you ever been to Cedar Point Jay?
Jay Crawford (11:58 AM)
had a season pass every year
Dana Jacobson (11:58 AM)

Brian(Dover)

Have a good weekend everyone!
Donald NJ
Jay Great Adventure Exit 7 NJ turnpike. best roller coaster park
Jason (Cleveland)
No they havent Dana. All lucky people from Ohio and Michigan have. There are plenty of less fortunate people who have not been there.
Dana Jacobson (12:11 PM)
Jason you took that too literally.
Drew (Buffalo)
Topthrill Dragster is amazing.
Calvin W (Clearwater, FL)
Greg Maddox won. I want an investigation to start now. Also, Mission Impossible was much better as a tv show than a movie
Donald NJ
Jay Great Adventure Exit 7 NJ turnpike. best roller coaster park
Drew (Buffalo)
Cedar Point is awesome. I will be there in 2 weeks!
Brian (Michigan)
I've been to Cedar Point 37 times. I'm 23. Yes I figured it out after counting old pictures.
Jason (Cleveland)
I love that place. I have a season pass and went yesterday. Have you ever rode the new Maverick? It's the best ride ever.
Dana Jacobson (12:12 PM)
