What are the suns looking to do with the #14? And does it seem like they really know what they are doing with their team overall?
Andy Katz (4:41 PM)
My gut through sources is that if they don't trade the pick they will take Earl Clark of Louisville.
Matt Denver Colorado [via mobile]
Do you expect there to be more trades in this years draft than we have seen in past years?
Andy Katz (4:41 PM)
Yes.Teams are actively moving players. The draft isn't strong enough to push too many of the players in the draft so I think we'll see more trades involving roster players than picks.
Marques phillips (Syracuse, NY )
Eric Devendorf is a 6-4 guy that can score and not do much else and succeeded in the Big East, so what's the difference between him and Ben Gordon?
Andy Katz (4:42 PM)
A lot. Gordon is a much more efficient scorer.
JJ (Houston)
Where do Tyson Chandler and Chris Kaman end up?
Andy Katz (4:42 PM)
Not sure on Chandler yet. But Kaman will likely be moved some time over the summer once teams figure out their cap space situation.
Remyred (Arlington, va) [via mobile]
Are the Heat or Wizards looking to make any draft related trades?
Andy Katz (4:43 PM)
The Wizards already made their blockbuster move. I don't expect them to do anything else tonight.
murph (lafayette)
is it really possible for holiday to slide to 13 and the pacers?
Andy Katz (4:43 PM)
Yes it's a possibility but I have Holiday going to the Knicks at No. 8. That could change of course if Curry or Jordan Hill is available.
Donnie Walsh (NY)
i will pull out all stops tonight to get Rubio, we need a big splash and a pg like rubio badly.
Andy Katz (4:45 PM)
Well, you better hurry. Memphis isn't trading with anyone just yet.
Sam (MN)
What are you hearing from the Twolves personnel? Are they gonna be making anymore moves?
Andy Katz (4:45 PM)
I expect at least another move, maybe two by Minnesota tonight.
Brandon (RVC, NY)
There's talk that the knicks are strongly considering Gerald Henderson at 8. What do you think of him? Is he a safe, low ceiling glue guy type or could he be more than that?
Andy Katz (4:46 PM)
He can get to the rack. I like Henderson. I'd rather have him than Holiday. So I think it would be a good selection. I'm just not sure they do it.
Joe (Albany)
Andy, with the Knicks picking up the Lakers late 1st, do you think Budinger is a possibility? Seems like a great fit for D'Antoni.
Andy Katz (4:47 PM)
Could be, although I have heard strong that the Knicks like Miami's Jack McClinton. The Knicks were checking on him yesterday.
Roy Williams (Earth)
What's the latest on the three (or four) Heels for tonight's draft?
Andy Katz (4:48 PM)
Ty Lawson could go to Indiana at No. 13.Tyler Hansbrough won't get past No. 19 Atlanta.Wayne Ellington could be a great fit late in the first and Danny Green may end up mid second.
Rudy (Portland)
Any chance my good friend Ricky somehow ends up in Portland. With Sergio going, I'm going to be lonely.
Andy Katz (4:49 PM)
I don't see it. My sources still say OKC for Rubio. But it's a fluid situation.
EJ (Mankato, MN)
I want Ty Lawson to be the PG that the Wolves end up with tonight. Am I crazy for that? Any REAL chance that K-Love gets dealt?
Andy Katz (4:52 PM)
I don't see Lawson dropping to 18. The TWolves aren't taking him at five or six. The TWolves say Love is off limits.
Chuck (Newport Beach, CA)
Any chance that the Clippers move Zach Randolph?
Andy Katz (4:54 PM)
Don't see it happening tonight. Big contract. He is probably third in line to be moved of the Kaman-Camby-Randolph tandem. He probably will be in LA to start the season.
Rick H. (Selah, Wa.)
Sleeper pick?
Andy Katz (4:54 PM)
Jack McClinton in the first round to the Knicks.
Josh (Nebraska)
Hi Andy! What are my Bulls doing tonight? Any big deals going down involving Hinrich, Thomas or hopefully something for Stoudemire?
Andy Katz (4:55 PM)
The Bulls are talking trades but nothing substantial yet.
Jeff (Louisville Kentucky)
What do you predict for the Louisville Players Terrance Williams and Earl Clark?
Andy Katz (4:55 PM)
Williams at 11 or 12.Clark at 14.
Andy Katz (4:55 PM)
Williams at 11 or 12.Clark at 14.
Andy Katz (4:56 PM)
Thanks for the questions. The trades are coming in. Have to jump off to chase.
