The Morning Buzz: Tuesday, Sept. 8
Welcome to SportsNation! We now start your day with a morning dose of Buzzmaster. He'll be with you every weekday morning at 10 a.m. ET to see what's on your mind.
Tuesday's chat will feature a special guest in NASCAR driver Tony Stewart! Stewart is hosting many of NASCAR's top drivers participating in the fifth annual Gillette Young Guns Prelude to the Dream race Wednesday, Sept. 9 from his Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The race can be seen live on HBO Pay-Per-View at 7 p.m. ET. Proceeds from the race on a dirt track benefit four military-themed charities: Wounded Warrior Project, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Operation Homefront and Fisher House.

Buzzmaster (10:01 AM)
Goooooooooood morning!
Greg (Ellicott City)
Good monrning Buzz.
Rich Rod (Ann Arbor)
People who question my coaching ability need to get lives.
Marc (Charlotte)
Good Morning all. My Labor Day weekend was about as exciting as the ONB.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Good morning! Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Bob (Lowell)
Just 3 hours of chatting left until vaca.
tom* (parkville, md)
Careful with that Subway sandwich around Buzz, Tony Stewart. He'll bite your thumb off.
Scott (Brewtown)
Good morning!! In August STFC, I tried for the monthly prize. I ended up with 8 wins. Was I close?
Christian (High Point, NC)
What's the over/under on number of "Merriman gonna choke a ..." comments that Buzz gets this morning? 47?
Buzzmaster (10:02 AM)
We already have the over.
Bob (Lowell)
Buzz, the holiday is over...time to go to work.
Greg (Ellicott City)
I expected you to be late, Buzz. I never expected this from Tony Stewart.
Buzzmaster (10:02 AM)
Dude, relax. Tony's not supposed to be here until 10:30.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
The celebration at the plate after Fielder's walk-off homer? Priceless.
Bob (Lowell)
The roids are gone but the rage lives on.
Christian (High Point, NC)
Baseball is still on?
Steve (NJ)
Things I learned in the Hamptons this weekend: I don't have anywhere near the income-earning potential of the people I was partying with and, shockingly, they didn't seem to mind. Either I've just stumbled across the 45 or so rich people who are decent human beings, or I've been wrong about rich people in general.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Good morning, Buzz Nation. Hope everyone in our FFL was happy with the draft this weekend.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Take it easy on Grason, Buzz. He can't help himself.
Matt (IN)
Good morning everyone. I am turribly tired today.
Nate (Madison)
I have to say Bahston was pretty cool. Now back to work, ugh.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Merriman was already questionable by dating Tia Tequila anyway.
Marc (Charlotte)
Buzz, can you explain to me why I had to watch Michigan/Western Michigan on Saturday as opposed to UGA/Okie State?
Buzzmaster (10:05 AM)
Cuz you didn't buy the Game Plan?
Zack (Louisville, KY)
Poll question below: Dunkeroos
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
And to think Sam Bradford could be paid $42 million guaranteed by the Lions to play behind an atrocious offensive line.
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
The long weekend just went tooooo fast.
Ryan (San Diego)
I laugh at people that actually take what that crazy chick says seriously. I mean she posted like 8 tweets about getting drunk, then posts how she doesnt drink because she's allergic. There were a dozen witnesses there, and he will be exonerated...but lets all take the drunk girls word for it
Matt (South Bend, IN)
John "The Grinch" Force, intentionally throwing a race like he did yesterday, is a disgrace and an enemy to all racing fans!
Buzzmaster (10:07 AM)
Uhhhhhh, homey don't play dat.
Most Interesting Man (World)
Nate and Brian..stay thirs oh nevermind.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
I much prefer a live draft, J.B. That way I don't end up with 8 WR's on my team. But I'm not TOO upset with my team.
John (Lexington, KY)
Missing class for this, it better be good
Cory (PA)
In response to the MBFFL, I autodrafted David Garrad, Trent Edwards, Jason Campbell AND Cedric Benson...How could I NOT love it?!
Clinton (Indianapolis)
A drag racing post? Really?
Christian (High Point, NC)
Is Ryan talking about Merriman or his date Friday night?
Brian (Madison, WI)
All Merriman has to do is show law enforcement two minutes of Tila Tequila's reality show and they'll realize she doesn't have a lot of credibility.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
And yet, if this was a Denver player, Ryan would be calling for his head on a silver platter.
Christian (High Point, NC)
One day until The Beatles: Rock Band! For those night owls among you, Walmart will be selling it at 12:01am tonight.
Nate (Madison)
I have to say, I side with Merriman on this one.
Steve (NJ)
Um, her last name is 'Tequila.' How much credibility does she have going in?
Marc (Charlotte)
Don't worry John, Coach Cal will send somebody to class as your fill in. Wait, you aren't on the basketball team... Never mind then.
Christian (High Point, NC)
It's funny how fast the news cycle turns over. Just 72 hours ago I figured this chat would be non-stop Blount.
Steve (NJ)
I've been asked to stop playing fantasy football. Seems I get 'too excited' about my team.
Scott (Brewtown)
I gotta give it up to my daughter. We were in the great northwoods of Wisco this weekend and went for a bike ride. 6 miles later we were finished. She's 8, and has a one speed 16" bike. I told her to lighten up, that she's making a mokery of the Scott (Brewtown) laziness.
Cory (PA)
I did get All-Day though so it wasn't a complete loss.
Trevor (Texas)
What a weekend...Texas Longhorn season tickets=best investment of all time. 6 weekends in Austin...does it get any better?
Deron (Colorado)
Morning Buzz and Nation......
John (Lexington, KY)
Thats the least he could do. I actually had to take my SAT myself!!! He owes me
Nate (Madison)
So I was visiting my cousin who is a UVA alum, he was not very happy about them losing to William and Mary. I on the other hand found it hilarious.
Greg (boston)
To answer an above poster, because UGA-Okie St was on the main ABC channel, at least here and out west
Jack (NB Canada)
Buzz dressed up as a woman driving his Schwinn is a drag race.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Ok, so I had a fantasy draft this weekend and most people in the draft are Bears fans in our 16 team league. To sum it up like this, Forte went #1 overall. Bears defenese went in round 3. And Jay Cutler went 13th over all. I didn't get any of them, but the same guy got Forte and Bears D. He's toast.
Scott (Indy)
Server problems at work, buzz. I can't get any work done, but I can chat!
Marc (Charlotte)
Nope, Baylor/Wake on ABC. Mich/W. Mich on ESPN2. Travesty.
Buzzmaster (10:14 AM)
Time to move.
Mike (Tampa, Fl)
Chad is not a team player hes all about himself and Skip is right he played with no heart
stephanie (cincy)
Sorry boys, but a woman regardless of what she does for a living, drunk or sober, can be assaulted and not lie about.
Christian (High Point, NC)
All in favor of adding "mokery" to the Morning Buzz vocab?
Nate (Madison)
Boise St apparently replayed the video of the punch on the big screen, causing the fans to go nuts and taunt Blount. Granted Blount was wrong in the first place, but you stay classy scoreboard operator!
Buzzmaster (10:15 AM)
I'm sure that guy would have been happy if he incited a riot.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
The funny thing is buzz, when everyone called him on it he blamed it on a glitch in his computer..........riiiiiiiiiight.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
*raises hand* Give that man a hoot dog!
Cory (PA)
How can you not be excited to watch a Directional Michigan game?
Greg (Ellicott City)
The MBs oldest poster is paticularly bitter today... Reminds me of myself.
Buzzmaster (10:16 AM)
Just a reminder. Tony Stewart will be joining us at 10:30.
Greg (boston)
Notre Dame Michigan could actually be a good game...
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Just a reminder: Since I care not for NASCAR, and since I have nothing good for lunch today (wife is out of town), I will be leaving at 10:30.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
I will politely step aside during Tony's portion of the chat. It's not that I don't like him it's just that I don't follow NASCAR and would have even less to contribute than I normally do.
Tony Stewart (Bristol)
I've got to be around these people? This is gonna suck.
Trevor (Clinton Township, MI)
Are you taking questions/comments for Tony right now?
Buzzmaster (10:18 AM)
Of course.
Marc (Charlotte)
Is Tony ready for the amount of stupid questions that will be asked?
Buzzmaster (10:18 AM)
I will have to warn him.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Will we have lunch chat and ONB today?
Buzzmaster (10:18 AM)
Sure.
Rich Rod (Ann Arbor)
People who don't stick around for Tony Stewart need to get lives.
Buzzmaster (10:19 AM)
You tell 'em Rich Rod.
Jack (NB Canada)
Let him drive when you take him out for lunch Buzz.
Dave (Tallahassee, FL)
Still have to wait at the drive-thru Jack
Nate (Madison)
So is he taking up the rest of the chat time or just one of those 10-15min jobs.
Buzzmaster (10:20 AM)
It's our usual 15 minutes or so.
Marc (Charlotte)
Of course we can still have lunch chat. Tony is probably having 5...$5...$5 Footlong.
Tony Stewart (Bristol)
Buzz wont fit in my car
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Speaking of NASCAR, the MB inspired a healthy debate amongst me and my in laws about whether or not NASCAR drivers are athletes. Yay came out on top of Nay . . . I think.
Buzzmaster (10:21 AM)
I think anyone that doubts that needs to take a couple of laps in a car.
Bob (Lowell)
Buzz, did you wear your little fire retardant jump suit?
Buzzmaster (10:22 AM)
To beat everyone to the punchline...."little" and "Buzz" don't belong in the same sentence, becuause, you know, he's fat.
Nate (Madison)
We are not having this discussion again.
Buzzmaster (10:23 AM)
Agreed.
chaz (sa tx)
post me buzz, i got nothing.
Deron (Colorado)
Nascar would red flag Buzz... car wouldn't be able to stay up to speed, because you know, Buzz is Fat....
Brian (Madison, WI)
I had two classic northwoods moments this weekend. One I woke up at about 5-6 am still half in the bag and looked out the window and stared face to face with a giant deer, had to take a double take. Second, we were sitting around the fire on Sunday night and all of a sudden a fox came flying by our fire chasing after something. Not things I see every day.
Bob Barker (Chicago)
I was a great host on Monday Night Raw last night. I even got to hit someone. Get your Buzz spayed or neutered.
Scott (Indy)
Ok, after an hour and a half of people who can barely turn on the computer screwing around with the server, someone finally called the IT guy. He'll be here in 45 minutes. Maybe that should have been done an hour and a half ago?
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
Went to Ocean City, MD this weekend and needless to say 2 morons got into a fight at the McDonalds on 30th st.
Cory (PA)
Buzz's fire retardant jump suit is made out of foil Pop Tart pouches. Very many foil Pop Tart pouches.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
I'm even willing to ask for the ONB to ensure we don't have this discussion...hit us, Buzz.
Buzzmaster (10:24 AM)
Let's do it....
fredmartinez93 (reedley,california)
how do you think the raiders defensivley are going to be with richard seymore?
David Carson (Atlanta, GA)
there 1 second left on the clock for the FSU/Miami game after the last incomplete pass.it should have been 4th and Goal??????
Adam Lindsey (Akron)
Shouldn't there have been a second left on the clock last night in the Miami vs. Florida State game last night?
Zach Rastall (Marinette, Wisconsin)
Due to the fact that I have started high school, which I feel is overrated and is nothing more than a larger version of middle school, I have to return to the dark, unforgiving abyss known as the ONB.
Quentin (Green Bay)
Wisconsin's own Steve Stricker ruined Tiger's near-comeback! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I love it! HA!
mark (tampa)
is fsu more likely to win when they defer (choose to kick off first)?
stonesjen (U.S.)
Just how far do the sooners fall in the standings?
Jake (Loveland)
Nebrask dominates . colorado will maybe win 4 games if they're lucky lol
Nick (Perryville,MO)
How can you even morally give teams like Florida or Texas a win this last weekend. In my mind paying a team a large amount of money no matter how large the sum is baffles me. Thats like putting the Patriots up against a high school football team. No offense to the losing school at all but I dont consider beating up on a smaller school like that interesting let alone a good game.
Matt (Bristol RHODE ISLAND)
If the titans beat the stellers are you looking at them as superbowl contenders
Adam (Pittsburgh)
With the problems circling Brandon Marshall in Denver, Marshall has asked to be traded. Ownership in Denver however will only deal teams willing to give up a first round pick. To me it seems like this Richard Seymour trade for the first round pick is a plan to trade for Marshall. Think about, why not?????????????
Buzzmaster (10:25 AM)
And that's it....
Nate (Madison)
Buzz, so I was bouncing around MA, RI, NH, and ME this weekend...thought about swinging down to CN but didn't want to go all Fred (Omaha) on ESPN.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Brian is far more used to seeing pink elephants than deer and foxes.
jillnorman (noman)
I just have to say I'm so humiliated.
Cory (PA)
We appreciate the honesty chaz. I haven't seen Ruckus in a while. Still keeping it real?
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Update on the poll to name our FFL Championship Game: As of now, 'The Pop Tart Bowl,' leads. I thought 'Bacon Bowl,' would get more action. 'Buzz Bowl,' is also hanging in the race.
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
No, Nate, we are not. Just wanted everyone to know that the MB discussions sometimes spill over into real life.
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Pretty short ONB for a long weekend. MBers have been busy
Clinton (Indianapolis)
I think you mean CT, Nate...
Steve (NJ)
CT, Nate. CT.
Brian (Madison, WI)
Ok just looked at my team for the MBFFL. Kyle Orton is off my team immediately. Gross.
Cory (PA)
I really think we should treat it like college and just have 4 meaningless bowl games and a championship game decided by a computer.
fred (omaha)
hi nate, i love bristol you should go
Marc (Charlotte)
But its MBFFL. Don't you get points for number of times your QB is caught drinking during the week?
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Looked at my MBFFL team. TJ Houshmanzadeh is my #1 WR. I chose the bad day to stop drinking
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Tell you what. For whoever wins our FFL, I will personally mail them a box of their favorite flavor of pop tarts as a prize.
Nate (Madison)
Aghhh, screwed up that up...thanks for the correction.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
That's weird, Brian, I would've thought you'd love to have a QB that pulls a Brian.
Buzzmaster (10:29 AM)
Tony Stewart should be here any minute.
Dave (Tallahassee, FL)
I need more aspirin
April (Ashaway, Rhode Island)
lol its very hard trying to moniter this, and answer phones (at work )
Buzzmaster (10:30 AM)
Easy solution: Stop answering the phones at work. Just give in. Do it. Do it.
Steve (NJ)
I will personally mail the winner of the MBFFL a piece of toast. Possibly buttered.
Marc (Charlotte)
Buzz, is Tony there yet?
Buzzmaster (10:30 AM)
Should be any second.
Cory (PA)
Tony got stuck in traffic, he's currently sitting 6th after a restart at the red light. Unfortunately a grandmother has the pole.
Marc (Charlotte)
I'm suprised there wasn't more OSU hate in the ONB. Those Midshipmen are pesky.
Jack (NB Canada)
How you doing April?
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Or answer the phones at work with comments you would put on the MB. After a while, they won't bother you during MB
jillnorman (noman)
We want Tony We want Tony
Bob (Lowell)
Buzz, if there is an escalator leading to the chat room, Tony may not make it.
Buzzmaster (10:31 AM)
Good point.
Don (San Francisco)
Is he racing with Jimmy Johnson for the last spot in the parking lot?
Steve (NJ)
I was pulling for Navy.
Cory (PA)
Nice one Bob-o
Ed Hochuli (Chat Ref)
We've got a 10 yard penalty for creepy chatting by Jack (Canada). I don't know how it works North of the border son, but that doesn't fly here. Still second down.
Buzzmaster (10:33 AM)
We've got Tony!
Nikki (pa)
What is the next big thing in you career you what to achive.Cause you have already done so much. Great job to everyone at SHR.
Tony Stewart (10:34 AM)
I don't know that we're going to expand much as far as getting anything outside of NASCAR. We want to get a championship and get Ryan his first championship right now.
tom Wisc
how's the track?
Tony Stewart (10:35 AM)
I think there's a chance for rain today. But I talked to our head track rep and they worked on it quite a bit. It looks liek we're going to be in pretty good shape. Weather wise it's supposed to be pretty good tomorrow.
Trevor (Clinton Township, MI)
Tony, as of right now, Mark Martin is in 10th place in the Cup standings, 568 points behind you, but because of the "wins only" Chase format, you'd be starting 10 points behind him at the start of the Chase because you have 1 less win (you could be tied if you win this weekend). Isn't this newer Chase format ridiculously, illogically unfair?
Tony Stewart (10:36 AM)
I like it. We're only going to be 10 points behind and we have a chance to gain 10 points Saturday night. Everyone knows what you're in for. Once you know the format, it's the same for everybody.
Cory (PA)
Would you rather be remembered as a great driver or great team owner?
Tony Stewart (10:37 AM)
Both! There's not a lot of guys that have been able to do both. I hope that we've got the driver side down for now. I think I take as much pride as being a car owner not only on the NASCAR teams but the dirt track teams. Hopefully at the end of my life and time in racing people will say that I was a good owner and driver.
Minhtam (Bridgeport, CT)
Without picking yourself, who do you think has got the best chance at winning the Prelude
Tony Stewart (10:38 AM)
I would say Clint Bowyer, Kenny Wallace. I think Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth. Jeff Gordon was good two years ago. I think that's a good group of guys right there.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Tony, how do you respond when people say NASCAR isn't a sport? Middle finger and a punch in the face? Well, that's what I'd do at least.
Tony Stewart (10:38 AM)
You just laugh at them and walk away because they don't know what they're talking about. Anyone that's done a ride along program or doing a school car, their opinion always changes once they see what it's like.
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Do you think SHR will add another car next year? or in 2011?
Tony Stewart (10:39 AM)
It's not going to be a possibility for next year, but the next year in 2011 is a possibility if the right opportunity comes along. Our goal is to become a four car team. But we won't add 2 at the same time, we'll add one at a time.
Dan Ohio
Since you're familiar with te track does that give you a advantage?
Tony Stewart (10:41 AM)
It definitely does. Sure. I know that track better than anyone there. Tomorrow night when you watch, it will show why these guys got to the Cup level. It's something to see these guys who never race on dirt and how quick they figure it out.
Don (San Francisco)
Do you like the playoff system? Other sports seem to be doing them too now, golf for instance.
Tony Stewart (10:42 AM)
I think it's pretty cool. I think it's something that this coming weekend is going to be one of the most exciting races of the year. There are 8 guys that are still trying to make the chase and there are 10 guys that aren't locked in and could race their way in. It will be itneresting to see who wins the thing.
Jack (NB Canada)
Is Loudon one of your favourite tracks?
Tony Stewart (10:42 AM)
It is one that I like a lot. We've always run pretty well at Loudon. I think it's one of the best tracks we could have to start the race for us.
Dave Dewald (Tiffin,Oh)
Just got back from Atlanta. Repacking to go to Eldora this afternoon. I'm a Jr fan myself, but Tony is another Driver I root for. " We are drivivg 1600 miles this week, to watch these guy's drive a little over 500." Dest damn vacation I ever had. Hopefully, rain will hold off and Tony won't have to run the track in all night. Good luck , Tony.
Tony Moenster (Cincinnati, OH)
Tony - Of all the rule changes NASCAR has imposed on the Sprint Cup Series since, let's say since your first championship in '02, which do you like the best and which do you like the least?
Tony Stewart (10:43 AM)
I like the restart, double file restart, how they line up the cars on lead lap cars. It's something that I never really thought about. It's been awesome, I think.
Ken (Richmond, VA)
Tony what is it going to take to get Ryan Newman in victory lane this year? What do you think they need to do to get over that hump?
Tony Stewart (10:44 AM)
I think the first half of the year when he just had some tweaks in the pit crew. I think he's done an awesome job. They've gotten to where they need to go. They just need a day where they don't have some sort of drama to overcome.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Will we ever see you take another crack at the Indy 500?
Tony Stewart (10:45 AM)
I honestly think that's a period of my racing career that's passed now. I've learned to never say never, but I would bet the farm that it won't happen.
Thomas (Afghanistan)
Just wanted to throw a thanks in here for you Tony. All of us Vets appreciate the support we get not only from you, but from NASCAR all together. Thanks
TONY EZZELL (JACKSONVILLE,FL)
Tony you are my favorite driver since your rookie year, I just wanted to say I think it is great that you do the prelude every year. I will be watching. What would you say is your greatest achievement in your sprint cup career? And please in febuary at the Daytona 500 lets get it done and bring home a Daytona 500 win.
Tony Stewart (10:46 AM)
I wish I could narrow it down to one thing. I think winning the triple crown back in '95 was big. Winning the IRL title in '97. The two Cup championships on the driver side. But on the owner side, having some teams win championships and now getting to be an owner on the Cup side. I've very proud of all of those things. I don't think you can pick one thing, but have to group all of those together.
Mike (Ohio)
Tony, do you have trouble going slow when you drive on the streets?
Tony Stewart (10:47 AM)
No. But we have the same bad habits everyone else has. We talk on the cell phone too much. We all had driver's liscenses when we were 16, we all weren't driving 180 MPH then, so we remember what we're supposed to do.
Jason (MD)
Tony, so what's the deal with the Danica rumors? Going to give us any tidbits?
Tony Stewart (10:49 AM)
We've talked to her a lot. She is very interested in NASCAR. I think she wants to come over and do this. We've talked to her because we've done some autograph sessions together and she knows I made that transition. So we've talked about how to do the transition and make it the right way.
April (Rhode Island)
I just wanted to say i love your prelude to the dream races, its for such a great cause, and the drivers seem so relaxed i have more fun watching that race, then nascar races. best of luck tomorrow and in the chase
Tony Stewart (10:50 AM)
It's a blast and I'm very proud of it. The Heros of the deal are not me, but the guys that take time out of their schedule, especially this week. We were rained out in the spring, and guys juggled their schedules around to come back in the fall.
Tony Stewart (10:51 AM)
For those that don't know, it's tomorrow night on HBO PPV at 7 p.m. ET. All the proceeds go to the injured and fallen soldiers. Even if you're a casual fan, everything will go a long way to helping these fallen soldiers and their families. We're trying to raise $1 million.
Buzzmaster (10:51 AM)
Thanks Tony!
Clinton (Indianapolis)
But honestly, Tony, here's what we're all dying to know: What are you having for lunch?
Buzzmaster (10:52 AM)
Nuts! I should have asked himi that one.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Lunch: Sandwich, chips, and a soda.
Cory (PA)
Lunch: I honor of Tony Stewart's visit I will eat a stick of Old Spice - High Endurance...or Subway
jillnorman (noman)
Tony's having something on the run.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Not your fault, Buzz. I should've thought of it much earlier than I did.
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
Buzz = fail
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
I'm sure the Tony Stewart portion of the chat was great but time for lunch chat. Grilled chicken wrap with Frank's hot sauce, a side of pickles, and a diet Sierra Mist soda. Good times.
Buzzmaster (10:53 AM)
We've done many, many chats with Tony and he's always good.
April (Rhode Island)
im thinking BK! have it your way!
Buzzmaster (10:53 AM)
Glad to see that you've stuck around.
Keith (MD)
Buzz, what did you do this past weekend; eat soggy chips, turn down a free steak dinner?
Buzzmaster (10:54 AM)
Actually, we had fantastic weather this weekend, so no chips were left out in the rain. I had some crispy ones with some fresh salsa.
The Suits (Bristol)
Buzz, you did an excellent job with Tony's chat today. Now go get our lunch...
Ken (Richmond, VA)
Duh, Burger King
Alex (Littleton, CO)
Lunch: Steak fajita Burrito from Chipotle
Steve (NJ)
Actually, I'm impressed with TS; I can't say I care about racing, or anyone involved in it in particular, but! tony took some good questions and gave some good, solid answers. Unlike, well, you know.
Nate (Madison)
Hmmmm, not sure what I'm having for lunch today.
Marc (Charlotte)
Really Buzz, no Subway question made it through?
Buzzmaster (10:55 AM)
No good ones to choose from.
Pete (NC)
3 day weekends = awesomesauce. Extra work to make up for yesterday = pure pulse. Lunch: turkey sandwich and jalepeno tostitos.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Nice start to the short chat week, all. Thanks to Buzz and Tony Stewart this morning. Have a great day and catch everyone back here tomorrow for Hump Day MB Chat. Later.
Marc (Charlotte)
Chat stalled. Pop Tarts must be ready.
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
You know what goes good with bacon? MORE BACON!
Steve (NJ)
Lunch - leftover chicken and shrimp from my bbq last night.
Wm.D.Davidson Jr. (Michigan)
Smoke - I am really impressed by what you have accomplished this year. Keep on top of your. will look forward to the Dream race tomorrow.
Mike Golic (ESPN)
POT ROAST!!!
Nate (Madison)
Making up for work for missing last Friday = the suck, but only four days of work this week = awesomesauce.
Bacon (Your fridge)
Ever try wrapping me in bacon?
Bob (Lowell)
Lunch PB
Nate (Madison)
Had my first full body lobster this past weekend, damn those meals are messy.
jillnorman (noman)
Do I get the last post today?
Buzzmaster (11:00 AM)
Sure. We're done here folks. Thanks for stopping by. We'll be back tomorrow. Until then, stay classy SportsNation!
Marc (Charlotte)
I thought about starting an argument about barbecue and how its a type of cooking and not an event in your backyard but I decided against it.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Lunch = healthy, ugh
