Welcome to SportsNation! On Wednesday, Oct. 14, multi-platinum recording artists, the Backstreet Boys, will be on the Bristol campus here at ESPN and stopping by to chat about their new album as well as their favorite sports teams and more.

The talented quartet (from left) -- A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter and Brian Littrell (founding member Kevin Richardson left the group in 2006)-- is back with a new sound and a brand new CD, "This Is Us," which hits stores October 6. The group will debut the new material on a seven-week European tour that kicks off October 30 in Lisbon, Portugal. The music video for the first single, "Straight Through My Heart," can be seen on the group's MySpace page.

The Backstreet Boys came onto the music scene in 1996 and three years later exploded with the release of "Millennium" which sold over 1.1 million copies in its first week on its way to 12 million. The lead single, "I Want It That Way," went to No. 1 in more than 25 countries and was named by Rolling Stone/MTV as the No. 10 greatest pop song of all time.
