Skyllus (4:01 PM)
Thanks to all the fans that cheered us on in Dallas!
Tyler (Indiana)
What would you say is the hardest part to overcome while playing together?
Skyllus (4:02 PM)
I think the hardest part is getting the chemistry down. We've been lucky to be playing together for a couple of years no, so we pretty much know each other very well.
Alex (Burbank CA)
What is your favorite weapon to use?
Skyllus (4:03 PM)
I like the torkbow but I also like the sniper. I'm a power weapon type of guy.
Chad (Union, New Jersey)
Skyllus, how did you wind up getting your gamertag name?
Skyllus (4:04 PM)
There is a Geek monster named Scyla and I just changed the name of it to Skyllus.
Ben (Toledo, Ohio)
Do you feel pressure when you play? and how do you stay focused in events?
Skyllus (4:06 PM)
During big matches there is a little bit of pressure but the more you play the easier it is. It all comes down to experience.
Cody B. (stuckinGB) (Lakeland, FL)
Skyllus, What is your favorite part of MLG events?
Skyllus (4:07 PM)
I like playing on stage. Seeing people watching you and getting into it when you hit a big shot is the best part by far.
jj (m)
Why did your team fail to qualify for the WCG USA national finals?
Skyllus (4:08 PM)
Our work schedule made it hard to play in all the qualifiers. At the end we came close but didn't make it.
Joel (Toronto Canada)
Skyllus do you crush feeble minds with your mental game?
Skyllus (4:09 PM)
(Laughing) Yeah, I was trained by Tsinc!
skootz (Korea)
What do you think about Red Stone. I heard you're pretty good at that as a second game. Do you think Team USA can take it all the way this year?
Skyllus (4:10 PM)
I think they have a pretty good shot. We have a lot of good players on our USA Red Stone team.
Bryan Morales (Brooklyn Ny)
Dude, what was going through your head when you were fighting for the Championship?
Skyllus (4:11 PM)
I was just trying not to make any mistakes. We were in a pretty big hole and couldn't afford to make any mistakes if we wanted to win. At the end, adrenalin took over.
Tathis (Edinburgh)
How much training do you do?
Skyllus (4:12 PM)
Before Dallas we were playing about five hours a night about an hour individually each day.
Mike (USA)
Do you play madden 10? Or do you only play shooting games?
Skyllus (4:13 PM)
The only sports game I play is NHL 10.
Joe (NY)
What do u like most about NHL 10?
Skyllus (4:14 PM)
I like how the game plays, it's real smooth. I not even a really big hockey fan but I like this game.
Riley (Chicago)
Do you feel that staying with the same roster all season has contributed to your recent success?
Skyllus (4:16 PM)
Yes, we are the only team that hasn't made a roster change. I think that is a big reason that we were able to win in Dallas. It looks like going into Anaheim that we are still the only team with the same roster.
Mitch F (Australia)
Whats your predicitons for end of year placements
Skyllus (4:17 PM)
I think you'll see MBN stay atop and Nsan3z will be the wild card for the rest of the season.
Joe (Mesa, Arizona)
How do you feel about Halo 3 being a more prolific game on the circuit, rather than Gears of War?
Skyllus (4:19 PM)
I understand it. There is a lot more Halo 3 players. As a Gears of War player, I would like to see us on the big stage but at the same time I understand that Halo 3 is more prolific.
Samantha (VA)
I think you are by far one of the most attractive gamers on the circuit.
Skyllus (4:20 PM)
(laughing) Thanks Samantha, I appreciate it.
Matt (NY)
What game would you play competitively if Gears of War wasn't on the MLG circuit?
Skyllus (4:21 PM)
I'm a big Quake fan but it would more than likely play Modern Warfare.
Shanba (Brussels or Edinburgh)
Do you prefer shooting people to lynching them?
Skyllus (4:22 PM)
(Laughing) I guess
rob (stockton california)
how do you maintain that beautiful beard?
Skyllus (4:23 PM)
Conditioner and a good trimmer. I just shaved it today but I'm regrowing it.
XeNo (Ontario, Canada)
How has your drive for competitive gaming changed as a result of winning MLG Dallas?
Skyllus (4:24 PM)
I still have to prove a lot of people wrong so that's out drive to continue to do our best. We also want to be the first Gears of War team to win back-to-back events. .
TazMB (DC)
How did you get involved with MLG and do you feel that MLG Pros are truly the most talented players in the US?
Skyllus (4:26 PM)
In 2007 when Gears of War came out, we started to practice for MLG. In out first tournament we placed fourth. As far as the US having the most talented MLG Pros I would definitely say yes when it comes to Halo and Gears of War.
Skyllus (4:28 PM)
Shout of to my friend at Mafiascun, Ebash, and all our fans at MLG and game battles.
