Buzzmaster (10:00 AM)
Gooooooooood morning!
George (South Jersey)
Why does baseball allow a team to buy a championship? That's what the Yankees did. There should be some kind of a cap on what teams pay their players.
Buzzmaster (10:01 AM)
What were the Yankees doing the last nine years? This year was the year they finally decided they were going to dish out tons of money?
Buzzmaster (10:01 AM)
By the way, I was thinking about it and I can't believe you guys made me defend the Yankees yesterday. I took 5 showers and still felt dirty....but anyway, on to Friday.
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Marc (Charlotte)
Happy Friday everybody.
Jim Calhoun (Storrs)
George, the WS is over. My best advice is, shut up! Just shut up!
Dave (vt)
So in our vending machine everything is $.90. There is a post it note on there saying this machine owes me $.70. You would think they would have learned after the first 6 attempts.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Really, you're starting us out with that, Buzz? Is it going to be one of those days?
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Starting out today's MB with Radiohead's "15 Step."
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
George: That horse has been beaten, cremated, and services held for it. I have a number for you to call though. Just dial 1-888-GTOVRIT. Oh yeah, GOOD MORNING BUZZ NATION!
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
Buzz, I don't even take showers anymore.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I would like to Rastall slap every person who argues like George.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Happy Fall On Your Face Friday!!! WOOO WHOOO!!!
Matt (IN)
Good morning all. Buzz, good to know that you actually showered.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
George, the sooner you learn that life is not fair and the good guys don't always win, you'll be a lot better off.
Buzzmaster (10:03 AM)
Tim Lincecum got busted with the pot. Huh. I'm not all that surprised.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
Yeah, who'd have seen that coming with Lincecum?*
Matt (IN)
Happy Birthday to James A. Naismith, who would be 148 today....*insert Clinton joke here*
Bret Hart (Calgary)
Hey Buzz, you tell Rickey Henderson that I'm the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be!
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Today I celebrate the first anniversary of becoming a man. There will be a Royal Red Robin burger eaten tonight as part of the festivities.
Eric (Chicago)
Ahhh, Friday, the best day of the work week...Sunday during football is the best day. How about Timmy Lincecum? Ha thats funny. Other news, LeBron and Co. are worse with Shaq, who didn't see that one coming?
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Yep. Saw that article this morning, too, and thought, "Figured it was just a matter of time before he got caught."
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Issues, issues, issues... I hate that word.
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Is JB 41?
Tom (West Bloomfield, MI)
Happy birthday, J.B.
Rick (Seattle, WA)
I'm not surprised either Buzz. a long haired hipie from washington living in San Fran. I would be more surprised if he didn't caught with pot.
Marc (Charlotte)
Someone call the whambulance for George.
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
LeBron isn't a super star anymore?
Clay (Hillsdale, MI)
Office was funny again last night. They're putting a nice season together
Buzzmaster (10:06 AM)
I'm glad to see this Michael and Pam's mom thing might be coming to an end.
Michael (Scranton)
Buzz, do you like skydiving? How about bungee jumping?
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Fridays are also the day most people get their pink slips, so good luck out there.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
You are correct, Robbi and thank you Tom.
Ryan (San Diego)
If you have long hair you smoke pot. Fact
Bill Clinton (via mobile)
I can't believe he inhaled.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
My boss cancelled my meeting with him today. Now I get to hang out!
Marc (Big D)
What's happening Buzznation?
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Oh yeah... Office was funny last night.
kevin (Indianapolis)
why does america hate the yankees for winning the world series? i dont like the yankes that much myself but i think they earned a world championship
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
Actually Ice Cube got fired on his day off, which was Thursday. Friday is when all the fun happens.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
not a good idea for buzz to bungee
Marc (Big D)
I must be weird because I think the Office kinda sucks this season.
Buzzmaster (10:09 AM)
Those two things are not related.
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
Oh, wait - or did he get fired on Friday ?????
Buzzmaster (10:09 AM)
The name of the movie is Friday.
Bob (Lowell)
Buzz on a bungee chord would be like trying to catch a whale on 8# test line.
Dave (vt)
Next week the local cops are doing Hostile Intruder Training in our building. The email said they will have actual weapons drawn, but not loaded.
Buzzmaster (10:10 AM)
Uhhhhhhh, I'm thinking you need to take some time off.
Eric (Chicago)
Buzz, skydiving is fun, you should try it...if you ever lose that weight because you are sooooooooooo fat!
Matt (IN)
I do want to extend my sympathies to all those affected by the shootings at Ft. Hood yesterday. Sometimes this world sucks.
Bob Slydell (Office Space)
We find it's always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Agreed on Pam's mom and Michael, Buzz. That's a two or three show funny story line at most.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I was going to make a music joke involving chords, but I don't know enough about music.
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
I base most of my decisions on Ice Cube movies.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
Dwight and Andy were the best part of The Office last night. I also though it was really funny when Toby was showing Pam how to punch and you could see Michael in the background.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Didn't the movie take place on a Friday, and he'd been fired the day before?
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I have actually been a fake fugitive in some of the SWAT team drills here. They use paintball guns. It's pretty fun.
Brian (Madison, WI)
He was fired on Thursday so he had nothing to do on Friday.
Dwight (Scranton)
Here, Buzz, I brought you a delicious NYC bagel. I hope you enjoy. You owe me one.
Buzzmaster (10:12 AM)
Let me pull your chair out for you Dwight. Favor returned.
David (Ottawa)
Funny how I'm late to work and late to the MB on the same day.
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
Josh - were you ever hit by a paintball?
Z (NJ)
If BUZZ tried to bunge jump in the Grand Canyon he would get stuck halve way down.
Marc (Big D)
I am sorry, but is the powermat really necessary? I don't think I have ever had a meltdown due to cord overload.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
No, but I was flash-banged and tear-gassed. Neither is much fun. I never would have thought the flash bangs were so disorienting.
David (Ottawa)
Agreed, the "polite-off" between andy and dwight was spectacular last night.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
only one Dwight? You dont know buzz very well
Dwight (Scranton)
I will be making tacos for everyone at lunch today.
Marc (Charlotte)
Z, the 1990s called. They want their joke back.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Yes, he was fired on Thursday because in the morning at breakfast the dad jabs him about it.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
There is no cord that would permit Buzz to bungee without the end result being death
mitchel (houston)
HELLO???????
Buzzmaster (10:14 AM)
Yes Mike.
Marc (Big D)
I think it is safe to say the 'Buzz is fat' schtick has jumped the shark.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Ben: That Toby/Pam thing was great.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Man, a whole ton of bungee jumping fat jokes, and not a funny one in the bunch.
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Was someone feeling neglected?
David (Ottawa)
Someone in my fantasy league is trading Kevin Martin for Troy Murphy. I don't think I've ever hit the "veto" button that fast.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
Apparently an 82 and an 85 year old man were arrested and brought into jail yesterday. They were trespassing at their own country club. All they wanted to do was play tennis. Funny thing about the story is that 5 cop cars were called. Really? You need 5 cop cars??
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Im going to the Michigan-Purdue game tomorrow. It will be like watching the 100 yard dash at a fat kid camp.
Gov. Elect Christie (New Jersey)
You got a problem with fat people, Johnstone?
Rich Rodriguez (Ann Arbor)
Those old guys just wanted to practice. The cops need to get lives.
Marc (Big D)
David, you realize there are more than points in fantasy basketball. Murphy gets 10+ boards and hit over 150 3s last year.
MommaBuzz (s)
We didnt even need to cut the umbilical cord when my little buzzy was born, it couldnt hold him.
Charles Barkley (some other network)
Those jokes are turribull.
JB (TX)
Buzz tried to jump the shark, but he couldn't. You know, because he's fat.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Heard a great song on the radio this morning. Pants by Here Come the Mummies. Laughed my head off.
Matt (Portland, ME)
Good morning all. Just got back from breakfast with a former teacher.
mitchel (houston)
Must be nice Johnstone. I'm gonna be stuck at the Colorado/Texas AandM game. What a battle!!!!
Ryan (San Diego)
Michael, you don't have to say hello every time you enter the chat. You're not Uncle Leo. Just proceed to start burning couches
Godish (Chicago)
I know Dave (Ottawa). I hit the veto button super fast when someone tried to trade the Ultimate Warrior for Ravishing Ric Rude in my fantasy league.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
How about an early ONB today, Buzz? We need to get this chat energized.
Buzzmaster (10:19 AM)
Let's do it....
Patrick (Memphis)
Buzz Master, I'm in a pickle. Is Tyrus Thomas actually going to have a break out season or should I throw him to the side?
Nate (Madison)
I just got roped into a stupid meeting by this girl at work that I can't stand, is annoying, and everything else under the sun. Hope to make it back before 10am CT.
16tristan (tye, tx)
i thank the cowboys are doing better with out T,owens
Eric (East Lansing)
I've got something to say about Lebron's last sectond call. WHO CARES!! If it was anyone else in the NBA, we wouldn't even know about it. Why does Lebron get special treatment from any other person in the NBA. He's no different from anyone else. The NBA needs to do something about that!!!
John (Lexington, KY)
Missing the chat to go try and get one of those new Verizon Droids. If there are people camped out, I am going to crime them.
RAY GORDON REID (ATLANTA GA 30303)
MY ONB AT 10.15 AM RIGHT NOW BUZZ ME AND SECERT GIRLFRIEND MICHELLE BEADLE LUNCH
Max Sloane (New York)
Do you think Tim Tebow will have a good career as a passer or will he be another Michael Vick?
Pooty Walnuts (Home)
At what point do we stop getting excited about the Yankees winning? Baseball has a serious problem with salaries and revenue sharing. $200+ million in salaries? Seriously? At that point is winning even really an accomplishment or is the fix already in?
Jack (Houston)
Do you really think Floyd Mayweather is afraid to fight Pacquiao?
David (Texas)
It's Thursday evening, the world series is over, and I just turned on Sportscenter. I respectively request you quit talking about baseball! It's freakin November! God created fall for football. I understand this would never happen, but baseball should be over by September 1. Likewise, there should be no football pre-season games in the pros just regular season games or any college football games until September 1. It just drives me insane to hear ESPN TV or radio talking about baseball right before Thanksgiving!
Quentin (Green Bay)
I heard this yesterday and thought it was interesting. This is the 3rd time Tiger has played in the HSBC Champions, the other 2 times being in 2005 and 2006, and both previous times he finished second. In 2006, Tiger lost by two strokes to none other than Y.E. Yang. That's awesome.
Zach Munich (Buffalo , NY)
From these choices what team is the better matchup for Flordia if they go to the BCS Nationalchamiponship? Texas, TCU, Boise Sate, Texas , and Alabama
Buzzmaster (10:20 AM)
And that's it....
mitchel (houston)
For the record I never burned a couch. Someone made that up. I merely tossed one off the balcony. I am a lot of things, but I'm not an arsonist.
Colin (ESPN)
I LOVE TOM BRADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jay (NY)
Did Max just ask if Tim Tebow will get prison time?
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I'm going to Oklahoma-Nebraska tomorrow. Neither team is very good this year, but it's still a fun game and it's a night game to boot.
Matt (Portland, ME)
Is the 2012 movie out this weekend?
Buzzmaster (10:21 AM)
It's going to be great. OU-Nebraska and USC-AZ State both play at 8 p.m. on Saturday. But what will be on in this area? The UConn-Cincinnati game that's also at 8....holy crap. I guess I need to find some Saturday night plans.
Eric (Chicago)
The NOW wants Tom Cable suspended pending an investigation...let me throw this out there - when a woman (and no offense to any woman out there) puts on football pads and plays professional football, then the NOW can start making demands, otherwise shut up!
Buzzmaster (10:23 AM)
I agree. I don't like when organizations grand stand when something hits the national spotlight. However, what the heck does playing football have to do with this guy hitting women? He hit a woman. There's a special place in hell for those people.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
You know, as soon as the ONB was requested, I went to get more coffee, and got back just as soon as the "And that's it..." popped up. For the sake of my sanity, I'm not even going to go look at what I missed.
Rick (Seattle)
Buzz, new to the chat. I know what you do in ONB, but what does ONB stand for?
Buzzmaster (10:23 AM)
OverNight Bin.
Matt (IN)
Shenanigans. I don't think Patrick could throw Tyrus Thomas to the side.
Ryan (San Diego)
There are so many good games at 12 PT though. They should have spread them out. Oregon/Stanford, LSU/Bama and OSU/PSU. I mean cmon, put one on at 5
Brian (Madison, WI)
Neither team is very good? Oklahoma is in the top 25. Just because they aren't in the top 5 or 10 doesn't mean they are the suck. Plus Nebraska has been way worse lately.
Marc (Big D)
Quentin I think everyone else heard that 2 months ago during the PGA. Thanks though.
Jeremy (Boston)
Eric....not defending NOW...but Have you put on football pads and play professional football....
kevin (indianapolis.)
tht is true about the pink slips. im lookin forward to gettin a new car
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
And shouldn't disciplinary action come AFTER an investigation and not BEFORE?
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
I'm going to the grandsons playoff game tonight. I talked to him about it last night. He is VERY excited. I just hope they win.
Christian (High Point, NC)
By Eric's argument, PETA shouldn't protest animal testing because they're not being tested on.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
cable is an idiot, he fits in well in Oakland
Chris Brown (LA)
Recording a duet with the victim gets you out of that special place in hell, right?
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
They're both 5-3. That's not very good in my book.
Pete Rose (Casino)
Robbi, what is the line on that one?
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
And OU is good. They have lost 3 games by a combined 5 points and all 3 have been on the road against top 25 opponents without 2 first round draft picks. Yeah, they aren't good....
Brian (Madison, WI)
Rihanna said she was stupid to go back with Chris Brown. I said that when she did it. Must be that whole love is blind thing.
Bill Belichick (New England)
Is Joey Porter stupid?? Why do these AFC East morons who we've beat on for the past 8 yrs continue to run their mouths????
Christian (High Point, NC)
Big weekend planned: UNCG Volleyball tonight, Vintage Truck Show tomorrow, and IKEA on Sunday.
Buzzmaster (10:26 AM)
Will you have time to make it to Bed, Bath and Beyond?
Ryan (San Diego)
Josh, with a healthy Bradford they are a top 10 team
mitchel (houston)
I think Warren Sapp said it best. "If you want a sure fire way to ruin your career, sign with Oakland."
Buzzmaster (10:26 AM)
Thanks Mike.
David (Ottawa)
Buzz, you obviously would trade Kevin Martin for Troy Murphy as well?
Buzzmaster (10:27 AM)
No, sorry. I thought I was giving out an obvious air of I don't care.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
The Red River Shootout isn't a road game. It's played on a neutral field.
Bob (Lowell)
NOW just needed something else to focus on. They got tired of standing outside the gate at Augusta National.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Have no idea what I'm doing tonight. Supposed to be going to a wedding/reception on Saturday, but I'm in a royally foul mood today so that's pending. Sunday, again no freaking clue what I'm doing.
Buzzmaster (10:27 AM)
Didn't you have to RSVP to the wedding?
Brian (Madison, WI)
Saw that footage of the crazy woman soccer player from New Mexico. She was on a mission to take people out.
Christian (High Point, NC)
When you make the trek to IKEA, you have no time for Bed Bath and Beyond, Buzz.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
OU's offensive line would is the reason Bradford is hurt and they aren't a top 10 team. It's pretty bad, especially for them.
David (Ottawa)
I know YOU don't care, but if that doesn't mean you shouldn't post it. If I got to ignore everything I didn't care about, I'd still be in bed.
stephanie (cincy)
Not going to a wedding even you RSVP'd yes? Worse than a cash bar
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Yeah, I RSVP'ed, but that was three weeks ago. No +1, so it's not a big loss for them if I don't show.
Buzzmaster (10:29 AM)
Oh yes it is. They're paying for you whether you go or not.
Mark DeLeo (Lisle)
Buzz buddy. What are you doing this weekend? Can you mow my lawn?
Ryan (San Diego)
Whatever you say Josh, 3 losses under 1 score all played without their best offensive player. You're right, they're not good
Brendan (Louisville, KY)
All this sports talk is ruining my MB
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Saturday, I'll be making white chili and pumpkin pies, while watching CFB. Anyone for some chili and pie?
Felix Pie (somewhere)
Did some mention Pie?
JB (TX)
I'll pass, Robbi. Call me on the day you make some moonshine.
Dean (Vermont)
OK, SN...we need answers. This season of 30 Rock is clearly leading up to adding a new castmember at the end of the season. Who's it going to be, people? We need names here, people. [although I thought Geise's daughter gave a damn good audition in last night's episode, I don't think it will be her.]
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Didn't know it was a big loss. I retract the "pending" status on my attendance.
Pete (NC)
How Bradford affects the team is irrelevant when he doesn't play. So if without Bradford they aren't a top 10 team, then they aren't a top 10 team.
Jay (NY)
No Fedor talk for Saturday? As MNF would say, Cmoooon Man!
Lamda Lamda Lamda (College)
We love Pie.
Buzzmaster (10:33 AM)
I think that's Pi for your folks.
stephanie (cincy)
Good job Clinton. Trust me, brides and grooms don't forget the "no shows"
kevin (Indianapolis, IN)
i want some pie
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Robbi, that's like sending a direct invitation to fred (omaha)
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
Robbi, I hate you, consider yourself out of 'the league for a better america without pie'
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Robbi: If you've got an apple pie, I'm in.
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Fedor will fight saturday. Happy?
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I don't get why you think I'm insulting OU. I'm not. You ask almost any OU fan and they'll tell you the team isn't what they thought it'd be. Part of that is injuries, and part of it is a fairly weak running game and offensive line.
Ogre (Adams College)
NERDS!!
fred (omaha)
robbi i will rsvp here, see you then
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Rogers > Fedor
Ryan (San Diego)
I go to weddings and stand in for the "no shows". And then fill up on free food, alcohol and cake.
Eric (Chicago)
Anyone catch "The League" last night? Any good?
Buzzmaster (10:35 AM)
DVR'd it. The first episode was decent.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
You know I keep watching '30 Rock' waiting for it to be great. Right now I only leave it on because there is nothing better up against it.
Marc (Big D)
Carolla had Rogers on his pod and he was talking like he was going to handle Fedor pretty easily. I may have to DVR it for future perusal.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
Where's jill(norman)? I'd like to see if she thinks they're very good. My guess is she doesn't.
Will Hunting (Boston)
You like apples? Do you like apples? Well, I got her number. How do you like them apples!
Reggie (Boston)
It was pretty funny, Eric.
stephanie (cincy)
Injuries are part of football. Look at Cincy, Pike has been out and his backup has kept them undefeated.
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
As an OU alum/fan, Josh is right that the offensive line and receivers have been a let down. That tends to happen when you graduate 4 O Line men and 3 receivers. The rebuilding year came a year early.
David (Ottawa)
Fedor will win, first round submission.
Marc (Big D)
The League was pretty funny but I can't see it lasting more than a short season.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
I tried watching MMA, and I just don't find myself getting into it.
Buzzmaster (10:37 AM)
I just find it odd that the main event fighters are out there and you can see the mopped up blood stains from the undercard fights. Kinda skeevy.
Marc (Charlotte)
I'd rebuke Stephanie, but I don't want to get stabbed.
Roman (Minneapolis)
Heading out in a few hours to drive to Chicago to see the Fedor fight. Anyone know of any good places to hit in Hoffman Estates for nightlife?
mitchel (houston)
As a Texas alum/fan it really breaks my heart to see OU having problems.(sarcasm off)
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
MMA is the best
Steve (Dallas, TX)
Josh, I went to OU and think this is a very young team that is improving every week. You will be impressed by the speed of OU's defense though.
David (Ottawa)
Buzz: The blood all over the ring makes it better. It's modern day gladiators, thats all.
Marc (Big D)
Roman, um, there is this little place called Chicago like 30 minutes away. Might want to give that a try.
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Good and Hoffman Estates do not go together. Try your luck in Schaumburg.
Nate and Brian (Wisconsin)
Roman....head to the Blue Oyster. Our fav spot.
Marc (Charlotte)
Ask the locals.
Marc (Big D)
I am far from an MMA enthusiast, but it is an awesome time to go to a bar with some buddies and watch. Everyone gets really into it.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
Totally agree on their defense. Nebraska will be lucky to score 10 on offense. The two best DTs in the country will be on the field.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Wait a minute...was that a Police Academy reference and a Larry Johnson move?
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Who are the big stars in the MMA? Do they have any? And what's with the cage? These guys aren't animals or wrestlers.
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Buzz is pen pals with one of those DT's now.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
Silva, Machida, Rampage, Coture, Lesnar..... the cage is so they dont fall out of the ring....JB, wow
Christian (High Point, NC)
This chat has Midwest Bias.
Scott (Brewtown)
MMA? *sigh*
Pam Halpert (Scranton)
I want to hit you.
Inigo Montoya (Cliffs of Insanity)
I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Christian (High Point, NC)
Isn't MMA's most well-known star Kimbo Slice, who's like 1-4?
Buzzmaster (10:44 AM)
Uhhhhhhhh, no.
JB (TX)
Not an MMA fan, got sucked into that Machida fight a few wks back, it sucked.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
You got East Coast bias all last week with the WS.
Mike Singletary (San Francisco)
Alright Buzz, I've been forced to drop my pants in disgust over this chat. Step it up a notch.
Ryan (San Diego)
Speaking of MMA, did you guys see the New Mexico/Byu womens soccer game yesterday? They were playing dirty. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4628040andcategoryid=2378529
Buzzmaster (10:45 AM)
Quite awesome.
Jay (NY)
Street Fightings biggest star is Kimbo Slice....and Ryu may even disagree with that.
Greg (New York)
Totally agree with Christian. Buzz has some kind of ridiculous mancrush on tools from Wisconsin. Why is it that people talk about the stupid Brewers so much?
Buzzmaster (10:46 AM)
Greg, the New York stereotype everybody!
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Apparently Oprah is leaving Chicago, the city will never recover.
JB (TX)
MMA fans are constantly trying to explain why their sport is awesome. No one has to explain why football or basketball is awesome. I'm just sayin...
Marc (Charlotte)
Way to be 20 minutes behind in the chat Ryan. That popped collar must be cutting off your circulation.
mitchel (houston)
That womens soccer match made me thankful that my girlfriend is such a classy, girly lady. I'm the one who is supposed to act like a testosterone filled beast.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
HAHA Greg. Thats soo true. We never hear about New York!
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
I recently got Insider and the pick center has taken my gambling to a whole new level!
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
Buzz, the fat guy from Boston!
Buzzmaster (10:48 AM)
Nice try, gnat. Not from Boston Grason.
Marc (Charlotte)
Didn't JCVD play Guile in a Street Fighter movie?
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
More New York please*
Greg (New York)
No no, Buzz, you got it all wrong, baby. I don't want to talk about the Mets or Yankees, just not the Brewers. People get mad about sports talk in here for some reason, so why so much Milwaukee?
Buzzmaster (10:49 AM)
But... 1) we're not talking about the Brewers...C) we don't get mad with sports talk, it's just not all that we do here... XI) Milwaukee's a decent enough place.
stephanie (cincy)
Did Greg just call Buzz "baby"?
Ryan (San Diego)
How was I 20 minutes behind? I must have missed it in between wedding talk, OU talk, and MMA stuff.
Steve (Dallas, TX)
Lunch: Chickfila chicken nuggets, waffle fries, and a DP.
Cory (PA)
JB. You'd need to explain to me why basketball is awesome. #3 most boring sport to watch behind hockey and soccer.
Brandon (Albany)
How many eskimo brothers do you have? The League has already jumped to number 1 on my must see tv shows...great great show
mitchel (houston)
Let's talk about the Astros. Lance Berkman is a cool dude!!! Ok that pretty much sums up the Astros conversation.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Why does Greg hate Milwaukee so much? Does he secretly have an anti-beer agenda? FOR SHAME, SIR!
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
Buzz, the fat guy who is a huge homer of Boston based sports! Happy?
Buzzmaster (10:51 AM)
Grason, do you even read what you write before you send it in?
Brian (Madison, WI)
Greg I prefer to be called a drunk, not a tool. Thanks.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
Obviously Greg doesn't like Beer, Brats, and Cheese. That is just un-American.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Lunch: Arby's
Johnstone (Wicker Park)
Madison>Milwaukee>Osh Kosh
Matt (Portland, ME)
How do you think hockey is boring? Seriously?
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Hockey is boring? You're joking, right?
Noah (Durant, OK)
Ou's gonna beat nebraska 63-10
Jason (Ellicott City, MD)
Am I incorrect with my revision?
Buzzmaster (10:52 AM)
100%
Marc (Charlotte)
Despite the fact that this chat has been the pulse, I'm not going to let it ruin the good mood I've been in all week.
Buzzmaster (10:52 AM)
Good point.
Christian (High Point, NC)
Lunch Chat! Fourth and Final Day of Portebello Mushroom Sausage with Inglehoffer Sweet and Hot Mustard on a Club Roll.
stephanie (cincy)
Lunch: Mozzarella, prosciutto, basil and olive oil on a banquette from Whole foods. They make an outstanding sandwich there.
Alex (Littleton, CO)
I do feel bad that Milwaukee is stuck with the Brewers and Bucks
Buzzmaster (10:53 AM)
Why? It's just motivation for their breweries.
Josh (Lincoln, NE)
The McRib is back! One of the few things from McDonald's I can eat.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
Though Milwaukee does suck, there are great things about Wisconsin, like fishing, hunting and Wisconsin Dells for the kids.
Scott (Brewtown)
Ummm...Oshkosh would be one word. as opposed to Fon Du Lac
Matt (Portland, ME)
Lunch: Steak sandwich and Doritos
Cory (PA)
To watch, yup. I said it. a blast to play though.
Buzzmaster (10:53 AM)
Hockey is one of the best in-person sports to watch.
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Lunch: Going to Subway with daughter, unsweet tea.
Eric (Chicago)
Milwaukee has a great baseball stadium - Wrigley Field North!
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Got a voice-mail last night from a former friend who wants to reconnect. Tempted to call her back and cuss her out, just for a little therapeutic value. Maybe that explains my mood a little bit.
Whole Foods (Cincinnati)
We make outstanding sandwiches because we don't want to get stabbed
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
LUNCH: Something light because I'm saving room for my burger and bottomless steak fries tonight.
mitchel (houston)
Fact: The Bucks will not win the NBA title in the next 50 years.
Kevin (New York)
Hockey is the most exciting sport around...almost non-stop, lots of speed, hard hitting, wicked slap shots, fights...it's got it all!
Scott (Brewtown)
We're only stuck with the Bucks for a couple more years. Then it'll be Vegas's problem
Brian (Madison, WI)
Speaking of hockey in person. I'm going to the Minnesota-UW game tonight, in a suite. Not a hockey fan, but should be fun. Then tomorrow I'm on a party bus to Milwaukee for a friend's b-day.
Reggie (Boston)
Lunch: Pizza party in the office, I love free lunch!
The Suits (Bristol)
Lunch: Whatever that fat guy that wastes company money makes us.
Hans (Milwaukee)
lunch - cheese, beer and brats
Alex (Littleton, CO)
Lunch: Wendy's 3conomics.
Louis (Fredericton, NB)
Hockey on TV is way better in HD, it's night and day really.
Christian (High Point, NC)
Fact: I have never been to Wisconsin. However, I do have a tour planned of the upper midwest (Chicago-where I have been, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Field of Dreams in Iowa) for when my son is older.
J.B. (Dunmore, PA)
Gonna run for today. Thanks to everyone for helping me get my birthday off to a great start. Enjoy your weekends, stay safe, have some fun, and see you back here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on Monday. Peace.
SteveFitz (Cicero, IL)
That's right on hockey buzz. Been to Bears, Bulls, Cubs, Sox, but nothing tops being at a Hawks game. The only even where it's true die hard fans of the team. Plus, the anthem into at a Hawks game is the best anthem in sports, by far!
Marc (Charlotte)
Things ended that badly, Clinton?
Robbi (Clinton, Ky)
Directv is coming back Sunday to upgrade me to HD and I get my DVR. Maybe the power will stay on this time, so actually get it.
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
It is sad this chat has turned into a bucks chat... That is way worse then the brewers. All thanks to Greg who didn't want to hear about the Brewers...
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Marc in Charlotte: WORSE.
Ryan (San Diego)
Hockey in person: awesome. Hockey on tv: ok, but better in the playoffs
Ben (Tempe, AZ)
Lunch: maybe Taco Bell?
Matt (IN)
I was playing MLB The Show and was in the 2011 season. Fielder, Braun and Gallardo are all on different teams. The Brewers best pitcher is....Barry Zito. Yeah, they suck.
Christian (High Point, NC)
Everyone have a fantastic weekend! Enjoy the sunshine and the football!
mitchel (houston)
Headed to the airport. Everyone be sure to watch the Brandon Marshall show on Monday night on the world wide leader!!!!
Clinton's Ex (Indianapolis)
Clinton was just too into bingo and old for me.
Stat Boy (Bristol)

Kevin (New York)
I like the Fog Horn from the owners boat in Chicago
stephanie (cincy)
College Football =best sport ever College Basketball=next best

Brian (Madison, WI)
Found out today that I'm getting a big raise for 2010 and I'm getting moved next to the hot girl in the office. I win. Now I have a legitimate reason to celebrate with drinks.
JB (TX)
Lunch: Who knows? Basketball: awesome. Ever seen an NCAA Torunament. I'm just sayin...
Nate (Madison)
Woooo, I made it for the last minute!
Buzzmaster (10:59 AM)
And with that we're done here. Thanks for stopping by everyone. We'll be back on Monday. Enjoy the weekend! Until then, stay classy SportsNation!
Alex (Littleton, CO)
Later Buzz, stay chubby.
Dean (Vermont)
Got no problem with WI...they're the Vermont of the mid-west.
Clinton (Indianapolis)
Alright, everybody, have a good weekend and stay classy.
Matt (Portland, ME)
See ya. Have a good weekend all.
Nate (Madison)
Everyone have a good weekend, I'm off to my hometown for a wedding this weekend. Going to get plastered. Possibly a date on Sunday.
